I graduated at 26 and registwred in june.i was exempted due to age which def came frm wrong date of graduation. Who can assist me pls my dashboard shows exempted.pls i want to serve pls

So far af spent 50k. From lag to uniben. I graduated at 2012 at 26. But how does nysc do it.aomeone said cos am more than 30 dats y i got exempted. Af been very sad since.bur i will disturb the woman at student affairs and go to uniben.if possible i will fight onw of the staffs.
Imagine since june i have been at home,tired of ezplaining diff story to my parents. They now feel i never went to uni and that my statement was forged. I feel like drinking sniper

Try following up on your letter and write another one if possible.

No my nysc dashboard .i registered around june and got exempted immediately.it showed i graj in 2017 but my statememt says 2012.my brother i have done everything possible. Infct am tired .i was in batch b but after ibregister online on nysc and showed exempted sinxe june till now nothing has been done.

You need to put pressure on your school.

I believe you're talking about your school's dashboard. That means they still haven't effected the change.

Write letters to your VC and Dean of Student Affairs.

And do not give anyone money. You're giving them incentives to lie to you.

Ok sir,i reg in june batch b but i got exempted.
I have gone to school,student affairs,i even greased the secretary 5k to epp me . I called her last week she said my letter is at abuja. But now my dashbord showng exempted since june and still the error has not been corrected till now

NYSC deploys or exempts you from service based on your age as at the year of graduation.

So, you'll be considered as 26 and eligible for service.

But it seems the issue is from your school. They need to change your year of graduation from 2017 to 2012.

NYSC only recognizes the gate of graduation it receives from your school.

Sadly i regiatered in july and already passed 30.
But i still want to reduce my age,anyway out

have you registered already? nysc will use the age on your jamb or the age your enter higher institution and if not correct, you can serve if the age on your waec certificate is not more than 29 as at when registered

i have to have it corrected to 2012. passed through normal procedure but still no changes. seems its backdoor deal i might go through..

i meant i graduated in 2012,nysc made mistake and put graduation date as 2017 which ade me get exempted.

i even greased the hand of one of the staffs at student affairs . I called her on monday,still noting has changed on my dashboard. Met 3 diff ppl who wanted to scam me for exemption ish here on nairaland who dont know anything. One even said in 24hrs and started typing on call,hold all on whatsapp. I blocked him . Scams are just everywhere. Tellme how 2012 and 2017 resemble. Nigeria don tire me. even staffs are making costly mistakes...If i shoot someone or staff now at student affairs who will they blame.

how can i apply because when i register the nextpage show exemption. i later now check and saw my date of graduation was 2017 but my statement reads 2012 and then i graduated at 26. I have been to student affairs,complaine bitterly abt such costly mistakes,drafted a letter but still nothing has changed. How can i be exempted when i graduated at 26....
