How much you paying? |
@Invisible Be careful the way you use the name of my team. Whoever told you that Eyimba players are running around on empty stomachs has mental issues. You watch the English Premier League and enjoy it so much without knowing why the English follow it so keenly. You just follow like Zombies. I even see some of you now wearing mufflers in the blazing Nigerian sun. Colomentality. @demzade @demzade Just my analysis. |
What is all this nonsense talk? What has Sanusi done to GTB? Are they among the companies taken over by the CBN? They have their partner banks in Europe and I don't see any connection with the CBN. HiTV is a useless cable company. Please don't tell me none of you saw this coming. Right now, DSTV is a more Nigerian station than HiTV. You think they don't know what they were doing when they opened their Nigerian studios and put Charles Anazodo there? I thought Toyin Subair had a plan to counter them. How many Nigerian sporting programs does HiTV cover? Do they even consider that there's an NPL. Go to HiTV headquarters and see what rubbish touting goes on there. I was there some years ago in Ebute Metta and I reported the crap I observed there on Nairaland. If HiTV paid $40 million, what was keeping them from the remainder till the deadline passed? Sanusi? No. It was the 11th hour tradition of the Nigerian factor. HiTV was meant to have used its opportunity of monopoly of the EPL to develop its other stations and win customers, but they refused to. At least even when DSTV lost the bid some years back, they still had subscribers. Let's see how many people will subscribe to HiTV just to watch Nigezie, Hi Nolly and BET. They failed on their own because of lack of business acumen and nothing else. If they paid less $40 million for the EPL package 4 years ago and cannot deposit $100 million at the recent deadline, then maybe the business is not profitable to them. They should quit! Everything Sanusi, Sanusi, Sanusi. The Nigerian man whose wife gave birth to a blonde in the UK will soon blame Sanusi! |

Please, someone should clear our ignorance. The way you people give a detail of this fairytale 800 MW German ocean wind power which does not exist, can you also give us details of the $16 billion? When was it released? To whose account was it paid? Please details, not just the mentioning of the figure. And please, for future references, it makes no sense to compare what does not exist yet to what does not exist at all. Don't compare promises with assumptions unless you live in 2013. Or are you also going to chastise South Africa as to why Nigeria's Vision 202020 surpasses their own projections too? Please details of the $16 billion and not mere mention of an assumption. |
You really don't know who Jacob Zuma is. He has been fingered in various cases of fraud, corruption, stealing, and even a case of raping an HIV patient while serving as Head of South Africa's anti-HIV/AIDS Agency: he claimed that he took a cold shower immediately after having carnal knowledge of the victim in order to treat himself against the virus. He's just as educated as Gani Adams, and he's a tribalist who doesn't hide when he chants about using his double-barrel to gun down members of Mandela's tribe. Anyway, to cut a long story short, please mention 10 out of the 30 hotels which the government built from the $5 billion. When Obasanjo's administration came in, we had nothing in our treasury, but by 2007, the excess crude account alone was worth billions of dollars annually. Our foreign reserves were worth more than $40 billion, and our foreign debts which we'd cried over for decades were gone. Since that administration left, how much have we built on that? Foreign reserves dwindling, and debt rising. We were persistently in chronic fuel shortage prior to 1999 because of idiotic fuel pricing which saw even 50 litre jerrycans of fuel smuggled to foreign countries. Today we see a queue of 10 cars in fuel stations and start crying. There were no jobs anywhere. None. Today we read the Tuesday and Thursday Guardian Newspapers and there are pages of job vacancies here and there, even no Nairaland, there are jobs. Where was your Nigerian entertainment industry before 1999? Most do not appreciate that it was that government which forced local channels to broadcast a majority of local content which boosted our entertainment industry to what it is today. How many jobs created there? Look at Telecoms. I'm not even going to mention GSM, but how many Nigerians were on the internet? Where were sites like Nairaland? Please, if you have a short memory, don't impose it on the rest of use. Zuma is not worth Obasanjo's left pinkie. |

Sup peoples? So it's been a while since we took our party to Taqua Bay, but this July's Edition of Sundays At The Bay, we'll be storming Taqua totally!!! Anyways, I really hope y'all are psyched out, but first, some reminders. Meet up point is City Mall as usual, where everyone can stock up on snacks and drinks ( and our favorite adult beverages). Meet up time is 11AM. PLIX!!! Let's not do the whole Nigerian time thingy, last time was rather stressful. Departure from City Mall is at 12PM. Yet again, PLIX!!! No Nigerian time. We're gonna be taking boats to The Bay, & I know this brings a lot of worry cos of the mammy boats. But if you're not comfortable with them, we're sorting out another boat which is bigger & everything. These boats will cost N2500 per person, for the trip to & fro. But, if you don't wanna dish out that much, and you're comfortable with the mammy boats, those are cheaper. Just hold on to like N1000 for them. Also, we have to carry our own DJ, and pay for tents & chairs at the beach like everyone knows. Usually, we'd just go around asking for the odd contribution, but this time, since we're looking at a bill of like 25000 for all that, we need everyone to just contribute N500 for that. Only N500!!! We're not charging gate fee o!!! We just can't pay outta our own pockets for it, k ![]() So, with the money talk outta the way, y'all had better be ready to have MAD FUN!!! Sundays At The Bay is back!!! Panda. |

Is this hailolive ex-UNIBEN? |
I don't know why our government officials always take it as a national duty when citizens of other countries air their personal views on us. Does this Aganga feel like any government agency will take it up if the Rennaisance Group in Nigeria mentions the USA as the most corrupt country in the world? China doesn't bother itself with this kind of talk, and see where they are today. |
It was an Igbo coup. We cannot unwrite history. Even when people claim that this man was from the Midwest and the other was from here, we are not saying it was an Eastern or Midwestern coup, it was an Igbo coup. Even during the civil war, the Igbo part of the Midwest was annexed by the Igbos. Some wonder why the Igbos would want to carry out a coup when they infact were enjoying a lot of power. They forget that with the Igbos, it's always all or nothing. They went for all and now there's nothing. Everybody can understand there was a coup, but what we can't understand is the sparing of some of the politicians along tribal lines, and what the military cannot understand is the massacre of high-ranking Northern officers. These mallams are not as stupid as we want to make them seem. |
Thanks a lot my brother, I really appreciate. |
You keep saying "only serious buyers", but I'm beginning to wonder if you guys are serious sellers at all. If You just come and log in a car with a ridiculous price and for months you refuse to sell. I've called already, I've posted, I don't know whether I ave to write SERIOUS across my forehead before you discuss. In fact, it's all these people who give their cars out to middlemen that I blame. WHERE IS THE ONE YOU SAID FOR N2.8 MILLION?! |
Promise, please help with the VIN 4T1BK46K07U052617 . A nairalander is offering it to me. |
