Where was Aina when Shehu and Ebuehi were putting up man of the match performances on the RB position
He didn't struggle enough for the RB position and messed up in the LB position
Why do you think Fabian Delph is in the world cup because he performed in an unfavorable position and was noticed to play in his preferred position. [/quote
what are you talking about sir? Was he giving a chance to prove his worth as RB? Because I dnt understand the bolded |

Oasis007: Super Eagles should be reset after the World Cup. In the GK Department, Dele Ajiboye should replace Daniel Akpeyi in the Team immediately after the Mundial.
I hope to see Tyrone and Musa Muhammad jostling for the RB, while Shehu is moved to his preferred Position - DM. Echiejile should be retired to pave way for Aina and Idowu vying for the LB Position.
In the Midfield, Onazi and Ogu should be replaced with Nwakali Brothers, Ajagun should be invited also to fight for a Spot in the Team. Finally Iwobi should be classed and played as an AM for the Team.
Upfront....... Kayode should be brought back to replace Ighalo in the Squad. Simmy should be retained. Why Aina should fight for LB again? Why not fight for RB the position he plays at his club. Then if it didn't perform we can easily drop him. Rohr should scout for another LB to slug it out with Idowu not Aina again |

MarijuanaLORD: Fucking True
What happened to aina was fucking unfair. That boy would have been really needed in our squad
Na ebuehi and aina suppose they drag that position afterall shehu na dm and shehu slow and his positioning is quite poor I tire for this Aina issue.. Someone is playing as RB for his club, you are using him as Lb here. It's very very unfair to the dude. Who knows he might be better than Shehu even Ebuehi self. If Rohr Bleep up, he go face the consequence by himself. |

krattoss: even Germany wey lost to Austria nko..
Sometimes I look at some fans criticism and say... "THANK GOD THESE PLAYERS AND COACHES DOESN'T GIVE 2 FLYING FVCKS Most people criticize them not because they didn't win the match but poor performance displayed by them. We wanted to see better performance than the previous matches. We wanted to see how they are ready for the tournament .. I doubt if Iceland and Germany you are talking about that they lost their matches will display awful performance like the way we did. |

kabrudrapist: Why is rohr fielding horrible players. So it means that of all the players playing for Nigeria both at home and abroad, this is the best rohr can come up with. 1 Goal drought ighalo 2 Brainless Musa 3 Pregnant Onazi 4 Clueless Joel 5 Retired Elderson 6 Weak Balogun With this mediocre team i don't expect them qualifying the group stage. He believes that it's a must to carry all the players that qualified us to the world cup.. Smh.... I fear for this team.. But surprises can still happen. I have less hope on them |

ykalhaji: Actually based on what how Rohr has picked his teams. Joel Obi is who I think needs to put up a splendid performance or else is sure to be dropped. Rohr likes that midfield that qualified us for the world cup. If we remember Joel Obi is on the team because of Mikel not being around for the Serbia and Poland game, now that Mikel is around, Joel will need to really prove that his worth. Rohr likes Agu, we kmow that. He will rather keep Agu on the bench than keep the Joel that has played the last 3 games for Nigeria.
One of Echijele and Aina has to stay. Echijele's advantage exprience. Aina's advantage, speed, best crosser on the backline and excellent arm strength for throw in balls. Choice will depend on who performs best against England tomorrow.
My pick Aina, Echijele's age will be exposed tomorrow by the fast paced attacking line of England. I pray Rohr make early substitution to see either Aina especially or Echiejile tomorrow because it's likely that Idowu will start and to those still fighting for spot to see who can fit in... Rohr wey sometmes no dey make early substitution in a friendly game, he go dey do as if na real match wey something is at stake |

Joebie: Awaziem would even do a better job as a LB. He's played there for his club. We should drop both players, and maybe consider Agbo as a back up CB lol.. Aina still has a future with SE, he needs to keep working hard. I would have preferred Aina should be given another chance to prove himself against a world class team like England on Monday before he is drop. As we all know that few players did very well in congo tie. I believe he will deliver if Rohr play him on Monday. I still dnt believe Echiejile is better option.. Have you forgotten schoolboy error Echiejile use to make. He even did it again against Dr Congo that can make Ref to give him red card in world cup tournament. After the world cup I would love to see Rohr to try him for RB position who knows he can be better than Shehu and Ebuehi. Just saying ball is in Rohr court. |

solonnachi: Ola Aina is more versatile in defense than Chidozie Awaziem. Remember Awaziem's school boy mistakes against South Africa. Ola Aina can play well in several positions. Joel Obi & Junior Lokosa should compete for one spot. Drop Uche Agbo & Mikel Agu. Is Ola Aina and Chidozie play the same position? He is competing with echiejile to deputies Idowu for the left back position. I feel Aina is better option than Echiejile |

jotey: Enyeama Hint At Eagles Return – Never Wanted To Do This But I Don’t Have A Choice October 10, 2017080
Former goalkeeper and captain of the Super Eagles Vincent Enyeama has dropped a hint about a possible return to the team he left after a row with former coach Sunday Oliseh.

Present coach of the team Gernot Rohr has already confirmed a return is on the card for the 35 year old once he is back to full fitness, and also sort out his issue at French side Lille.
Enyeama has recovered from the surgery he had in the summer, but he is yet to get his club future sorted out as new coach Marcelo Bielsa of Lille axed him and ten others from the first team.
Shortly after Nigeria’s qualification for the World Cup, the former captain of the Super Eagles dropped a post on social media, which suggest a possible return to the team soon.
The two times nominee for best goalkeeper in France congratulated the Super Eagles after the 1-0 win over Zambia in Uyo which sealed their qualification for the World Cup in Russia.
DONT MISS ==> Exclusive - Agent Confirms Liverpool Interest In Signing Prolific Nigerian Forward Henry Onyekuru He later posted another line which suggest a return is near although it could mean something else judging by the call for divine guidance in the post.
” Countdown on. This is massive. Never wanted to do this but I don’t have a choice. Wish me luck”. He posted. Hope if he returns the captainship issue won't divide the team. |

I should have defended him by attacking Piet so that people like nextlevel will say Safarigirl has started again, okwa ya?

Nobody should mention me again as regards the support of Supernerd, because nobody has supported him as much as I have on this thread. I corrected him because he is my friend and he deserves the truth.
I know my faults, I know I'm stubborn, I know I can talk trash, I know I can be intolerant, there is nobody that wants to say shiiit about me that I don't know, but apparently, nobody has told Supernerd his own, so he needs to hear it.

tglobal: Abeg no vex madam. It seems like the mention of TheSuperNerd activates a switch in you that gets you angry. The guy is a friend who has stood up for you a number of times and I don't recollect him using any words that could be generally termed as "insulting" on you in this "saga". He is a great guy and please let's not see his starting a thread as a deliberate attempt to bring this one down. He was always bound to do that as he clearly has a passion for Nigerian football. His enthusiasm is commendable (though I must say some o us who witnessed the birthing of the golden era from 1993-1999, will always apply caution for good reason) and that passion will push him to return here in due course. I also think we shouldn't discourage people from contributing to his thread if they so wish. It is not a competition. Let's move past this please... @tglobal for this message you typed may the good Lord bless you. Have been following supernerd in a ghost mode during kelechi u17 World Cup era from SSN site some years back, the site crashed before Manu Garba took the U20 to world up. I was hurt I said to myself am going to miss this great guy analysis of football. I was looking for where to read comments because of my passion for football then I discovered nairaland. To my surprise I saw the supernerd here. I was happy, I started following people's comment, am particularly here because the way supernerd analysis and celebrate victory whenever Nigeria win a match. It always sweet my belle. This safarigirl that is condemning this guy supernerd, was very rude to many grown up men in this forum may be she has changed only God knows that. She throws jabs at people and they throws jabs at her. This supernerd would still keep defending this lady quote the guy that she is a lady this and that they shld not insult her. I said to myself a lady that cannot compose herself still this supernerd still telling those men not throw jabs at her when she was the one that first started it. When many people rejected you because of your rudeness, it's this guy that stood beside you. He also said then he will like to see you in real life that he will let you know when he is in Lagos that was some years back. Back to what happened recently, supernerd didn't abuse you by saying he didn't give a hoot, so why taking it personal as if you have the guy in mind. You quote anybody that want to make peace to reign, you are putting more fire on top of the matter. Leave those who want to make peace for him to come back to do so. Whether he is at fault or not, let people that want to make peace with both parties do. i hope you dnt behave like this in real life because if you do they will give you name that is not yours. Am a woman like you, let's make peace even if both parties dnt accept the blame. Supernerd a great analyst I need you here, I can't wait for that your epistle when SE win Zambia on Oct 7. I greet all of una for all your great comments here, you always make my day. I love you all. |

jasmine21: Now this is my honest opinion. From Lagos auditions till now, Yusuf's voice never wowed me. I was wondering what's so special about this guy or his voice to earn automatic ticket into the academy or top 24? I felt they could've given him the wildcard option at least. There were sooo many good singers on that semi final night I could've easily replaced him with. No hate here I'm just speaking #Facts Thanks
His performance today was good no doubt. Yes he sang. But should we only judge him by today? How about previous shows were he messed up? And that's why the judges saved Winner instead. Not cos of today, but because of his cumulative. His vocals are basically non existent compared to others on probation.
I'm happy for him. I wish him the best out there b'cos that's d KoKo of this competition Thks for wishing him well. There is something special abt him that makes him to be admitted. As you said what they do after PF is the main. Hmmmmm still miss him sha. |
