He was always talking as if he was there when the killing was being done. He has done the trial and passed the judgement as if he was the judge over the matter.

Hello Everyone,

So I had my I-485 interview today, luckily, my wife was also able to join me as she and her command came back home earlier than the expected time.

The interview took less than 15minutes, it was very casual and the IO was very jovial. However, I got a white paper stating that my case is being held for review. The IO said they just need to run a background check one more time which takes 5-10 minutes, he also told me my green card will be a conditioner one and he told me how I can go about applying for the condition to be removed 90days before the expiration date.

My question to those who already received their green card is; did anyone of you receive such type of letter? I read on Visa Journey and few other places that it is a standard procedure, but I need to be sure. If that is the case, how long until I get a notice of action that my green card will be sent?

I had my interview too last week Thursday.... My case was approved but it hasn't been updated on their website till now, still on 'My interview was scheduled'. Has your own case status change on their website?

I honestly feel it was unfair for USCIS to deny your applications in March without giving you Notice of intent to deny.

People are saying that they don't issue Notice of Intent to Deny if they have already sent you RFE.

Hello everyone, I want to give update on my journey so far. It was really a long depressing journey.

RD I-765, I-485 September 12th 2019

BIO October 22th 2019

RFE Nov 12th 2019 for long birthday certificate and recent tax.

RD for RFE December 13th 2019

I called last of the week in February 2020, I can't remember the day precisely to expedite my case.

Expedite request received and evidence request was sent to me.

On the 6th of March 2020, I submitted my evidence through Fax.

My case was denied outrightly on March 13th 2020 due to not submitted the recent tax for 2018.

I filed for MTR, with tax 2018, 2019. RD April 7th 2020.

September 9th 2020 MTR was reopened and approved with I-765.

The card was sent and delivered on 13th September 2020.

The waiting time is crazy but it will surely come. Hang on there guys.

@gudnexvincent if you both love each other, you will be approved. Mine was almost that age gap and I was approved. It depends on how you can prove your case to the CO that it's not a scam.

He is probably paying a huge child support, maybe spouse support too. The main problem you will have it's the Affidavit for Support for your visa unless he is very rich. Moving to America is sweet but marrying with 4 kids will give you a very hard life here, all his income (60% and more) will go to his 1st wife and kids and for you and even your kids it will be never enough and never the same as for his 1st wife. He is not a marriage material in America because of that.

You are too pessimistic. How did you know her fiancee is still paying child support? You didn't even ask if his children is above 18years. Who told you 60% or more of his income will go to his wife and kids? Cases are different, the reason for their divorce and the situation depends how much money he will pay monthly not automatically what you typed up there. You always bring negativity here. Pls stop.

Your fiance will fill the form, then print it out to sign. After, she will scan all the pages of the form and send it to your email for you to print out or she can send by mail, anyone you are comfortable with. You need to take it to your interview.

My EAD (work authorization) and AP (travel authorization) was approved yesterday (Dev 27, 2019).

See attached timeline.....took roughly 3 months and 10 days. Holiday has finished, time to start the hustle.....
