Yes.... Tell them to extend to the date of the interview, they will reply that it's automatically extended.

This is the first message my fiance got from them which is the same with the one you attached and we replied that we got the date already and they replied with previous message I posted.

What they meant by this is when you don't schedule the appointment within the validation date of the petition then you have to submit evidences why they must extend your petitions.

K1 petition automatically extended when you book interview appointment within the validity date.

You don't need to worry, your petition is automatically extended since you have booked your interview appointment before the expired date.

See the attached message my fiancee got from embassy when he wrote the embassy to extend my petition because we couldn't get any date before the expiration date.

It will cost you between 8k-10k at the NPC office in Lagos, depending on how fast you want to get it.

You will get both the Attestation Letter (from NPC) and the Affidavit (from the High Court).

At NPC, they will do both for you. Affidavit & letter of attestation.

There is a price for urgent request.

The letter of attestation can be legalized by the ministry of foreign affairs, Abuja. ( not sure if it is required in this case).

If you were born in the 1980's you can get an attestation letter from the NPC.

I know you get get it by proxy. Someone can go to the NPC office in Babs Animashaun, Surulere to get it for you.

Pls read the letter I attached, any other way aside from NPC.? Can I get from the hospital I was born or affidavit?

I don't have that. I went there before coming to US but I was told it can only be given to people born in 199s.

I don't know may be they will accept affidavit of birth certificate if I do that.

Pls guys they sent me to provide my birth certificate, they didn't collect from the one of local government. Which one can I provide since I was born in 198s.

It means you are applying for workpermit while waiting for your greencard (or something like that).

The cost is $1225.

Documents required are basically the documents you and your petitioner submitted when submitting the i129F form. You'll also need to submit Marriage Certificate, DS3025 (vaccination record), K1 Visa, i94, NOA1 and NOA2 and other documents to support your adjustment of status submission (i485). You may also wish to submit documents that confirms your relationship is genuine. Example of such documents include communications logs (emails, WhatsApp, etc), joint bank account, joint insurance coverage, pictures of wedding and other loved up pictures, etc. The USCIS should give you full details on the necessary requirements. Also there is the i485 instruction document that will guide your submission.

The wedding should be genuine. That's all that is required. Even if nobody attend your wedding, you're fine as long as the marriage is genuine.

You can walk straight in... No need appointment booking. Go there as early as possible.

MMR is not taken every month. Its only taken twice. I advice you go take the remaining shot. It's much cheaper here in Nigeria.

You won't have any issue with the immigration guys for not taking the second dose since your DS1035 says proper vaccination were taken but I recommend you take it for health reasons.

Please keep your DS1035 safe. You'll need it when submitting your AOS form. If you misplace it, you will have to do another round of medicals in the States!

The Clinic should give you a copy of the DS3025 form along with a CD that has your xray. Its basically a summary of your medicals. The original will be in a parcel (don't open it) which you are to take to the embassy.

In that form you'll see a column where the doctor is to state if the proper vaccination was given and/or if you qualify for a waiver.

@LegitBachelor what am asking is there is MMR vaccination given to me and the nurse told me that it is given every month. I dnt know may be you are told the same. She told me if I have not left for US I need to come to take it every month till I leave, the vaccination costs 10k . But since February have been given visa, I didn't go to the clinic for the vaccination.

Hope it won't affect me at the US border? Thanks

You can do it either in Nigeria or later in the States. Although it is much more cheap in Nigeria.

If I may ask, were you given a Code B waiver for the MMR vaccine in your filled DS3025 form? If you weren't then it means you'll still need to see a Surgeon General when you arrive at the States.....which is additional expenses.

The Code B waiver is given if you only had one shot of MMR and had insufficient time to take the second dose before going for the visa interview. I hear some doctor forget to fill in the Code B waiver in the DS3025. I hope yours didn't.

Pls which one is DS3025 Form? Who is giving that? And where will I check if the doctor remembers to fill it or not?

My question is the third vaccinations on the attachment below, do I need to do it again before leave for US, because it was written the vaccination expires every month. Am planning to leave this end of the month.
