Am beginning to like tinubu for bringing Ambode on board.....governor Ambode till 2050...grin
Tinubu has penchant for talent and good hands, check them from Fashola, Oshinbajo, Fowler, Banire, Aregbe( though need check and balance) , Fayemi, Gbajabiamila, etc and now Ambode. Please doff your hat for political juggernaut of our time, that crushes opposition with performance.
PoliticsRe: Don’t Bring Religious War To Southwest, Babatope Warns Aregbesola by Neyomickey1: 3:00pm On Jun 16, 2016

Stfu !!!!

Is it today that Muslim students start wearing hijab to school ? This is a practice that has been happening for God knows when even among their teachers and people of other profession and I wonder why you now think it is Aregbesola's doing.

The Christian leaders are the ones making themselves the willing tools in the hands of the enemies of that state. I attended an Anglican primary school managed by the government but on every Friday we always have our morning prayers in the Islamic ways without anybody killing each other.

We even have imam in school then teaching IRK.

The practice was the same when I later transferred to an Ansar-ud-deen school where we have our morning prayers in the Christian ways from monday -Tuesday , on Wednesday you pray silently and call whatever God you which while Thursday - Fridays are for Islamic prayers.

That's why during our days all the students are able to know most the popular songs in the S.O.P and still recite fati'a and other Islamic verses.

This latest move and agitation is strange to us in Yorubaland . Every normal Yoruba family have people of the two religion and they co-exist without any fighting among them.

( And FYI, even my own patents are practicing different religions and they live together in peace).

Edit *** To the bigots abusing me and calling those schools missionary schools please get your fact right . Those schools were established by the missionaries of Christian and Islamic faith but were later taken over by the government couple of decades ago.

The moment the government assume responsibility on them they ceased to be private schools but government schools . Students of whatever faiths or no faith are free to attend those schools.
I quite agree with your submission but my question why is it now wrong for Christian ( and other religion) to wear religious insignia to school according to Aregbe.
CultureRe: Oshiomhole Can Never Appoint The Oba Of Benin, Edo Youths Scream Out!!! by Neyomickey1: 11:27am On May 25, 2016
I don't see any reason for argument here. The official statement from government says 'approved' and which is official. Oba of Benin is hereditary but still need approval and hand over of staff of office from the state government.

PoliticsRe: Dele Momodu Denounces His APC Membership,Takes Side Wit Saraki In CCT Trial(Pics by Neyomickey1: 8:55am On Apr 11, 2016
seunmsg:
I don't care if Saraki's trial is politically motivated or not. Since there is evidence of corruption, he should be tried and justice should be done. Ordinary Nigerians are arrested, tried and jailed for very little offences with nobody speaking out for them. The political elites can't be given a different treatment. Nobody is above the law. If Saraki is not guilty of the charges, he will defend himself appropriately whether his trial is politically motivated or not. If he's found guilty, he should be jailed and disgraced like a common criminal.
Well said! The question we should be asking is whether Saraki is guilty of the offence, if yes, he should face the consequences and if not, exonerate hitself. Stealing is a crime, whether politically or otherwise.

Nothing astonishing about his CV! I've read more intimidating cv than this! Prof charles soludo etal! This people went to school in the good old days when education was apparently free! So back then one can read to the Highest level of education if he likes and still get an instant job offer unlike what is obtainable in present day Nigeria. If you watch closely, you would notice that those that were privileged to Read back then are now the Elites we have in our body polity today. Most are in key government positions, and handdling other Top management position in other parastatals. Today we have first class, 2.1 without jobs! University education is now for the Rich! So a lot of things has changed now. Nigerian Youths are getting demoralised with the Rot in the system. Where you can't get a good government job without connection. Where, without work experience of 3-5yrs you can't get employed! How is it possible for a fresh graduate to get such experience? Again to prune down teaming number of job applicants, they came up with Age limit. Just so annoying!!!!

CelebritiesRe: Popular Non Yoruba Indigenes Making Waves In The Yoruba Movie Industry by Neyomickey1: 5:25pm On Oct 11, 2015
missKiffy:
The yoruba movie industry can boast of some talented actors and actresses who are making waves but who are not yoruba by ethnicity, some of them achieved fame through the yoruba movie industry while some of them features both in the Yoruba and English sector.

1. Kelvin Ikeduba - The actor was born on August 21st, 1976 in Delta state as Kelvin Ngozi Ikeduba. Kelvin has lived all his life in Lagos, he hails from Delta state and is an Economics graduate from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. His perfect mastery of Igbo, Yoruba and English languages has made him one of the most versatile actors in the Nollywood circuit, being able to fit comfortably well into both Yoruba and English movies.

2. Fathia Balogun - This is one versatile actress in the yoruba movie industry I never knew she is not originally yoruba until I came across her profile online because she has adapted so well. Fathia is Urhobo from Delta state. She was born on February 1969 at Ukwara, water side local government area of Delta State, southern Nigeria.

3. Richard Agbor - This is my celebrity crush, I love this actor so much, especially his opolo eyes. Richard Agbor has been in Nollywood for over 17 years and has contributed tremendously to its growth in both Yoruba and the English sectors. The model cum actor hails from Cross River State

4. Clarion Chukura - (born Clara Nneka Oluwatoyin Folashade Chukwurah on the 24th July 1964) is a Nigerian actress and humanitarian. Chukwura was born as the only daughter in a family of 4. She is from Anambra state, popular music video director Clarence Peter is her son. His father is popular fuji musician Shina Peters.
. Point of Correction : Shina Peter is a juju musician and not Fuji musician.

infohenry:
The petition is driven by hate and fraustration, they were planning how to laugh him but buhari disappointed them. Amaechi is not corrupt because those who are corrupt don't take the kind of risk he took during the electioneering by challenging the incumbent president, you can ask lamido and babangida aliyu.
i concurred with your assertion
PoliticsRe: Ministerial List: Fresh Nomination Crisis In South-west Apc-tribune by Neyomickey1: 8:55am On Oct 05, 2015
This Tinubu is a sort of an Engima that keep on occurring in every political calculation whether for or against him. Every political journalist must surely find a way to include his name in their story, be it imaginative, fiction or real.

Kukah can be seen to be making good suggestion here but where was father Kukah when GEJ was there to give him this advice. And is it not the same father Kukah pleading that Buhari should not probe GEJ's regime? Talking from two side of the mouth.....

PropertiesRe: Building 4 Flats In Nigeria - Planning, Cost & Execution by Neyomickey1: 12:50pm On May 18, 2015
Favourme2:
I just opened this thread to capture cost, planing and execution of a storey building (2 flats up and 2 flats down). As a novice in building, I will welcome suggestions and guidance on planning, execution/style and prices of materials from many gurus in this blog. When I start, I will be updating you guys with progress and pictures whenever I get them. I will also be asking so many questions as I am not in Nigeria.

Below is the approximate cost so far:

Land =1.5m
Agreement = 15,000
survey =70,000
Expenses (cement & sand for pillars, labour & transport) = 40,000
TOTAL = N1,625,000

Architect is currently drawing the plan.

Thank you.
Hi, we your humble follower are still waiting for the plan...
