In power plant feasibility study is the first priority.
Hydro is virtually exhausted in Nigerian territory. Only gas can be feasible because it rely only on the fossil fuel. And as far as you can safely and securely transport fuel to the plant you can build thousands of power plants without limitations.

A recall under the current INEC voters register is virtually impossible.
There is no single ward register in Nigeria that the actual registered voters get upto 50% of the register list. It was highly over bloated register. So getting a 50%+1 is impossible.

I personally work in a agro processing company in kebbi state. I personally dispatched more than 14 billion naira worth of finished product every single month.
The companies are two in number. And I am only talking about the one I am working in. The other one is also having the same value of dispatches.
7.5% of 14 billion means 1.05 billion as VAT every month. Now if you check VAT of kebbi state it is in the range of 600 million naira.
There are 6 other similar agro processing companies processing same products here in kebbi state alone. So how comes the vat is so low?
The answer is that the headquarters of these companies are located in Lagos. And as such even though the company is here. Sourcing for raw materials and processing it here in kebbi the royalties and VAT are deducted at Lagos office.
If they can make decentralization of VAT such that every single state should have the full recognition of it's VAT nobody will complain. But look at how people are thinking that the north is a parasite. I want to see a scenario where it can be enforced 100%. Only then will people understand what is the real VAT of Lagos and Ogun states.

This is misleading. I work in a certain processing company in Kebbi. I dispatched more than 13 billion naira goods. That's a vat duty of about 1 billion naira in the month of August 2024.
The company is located in kebbi. It sources bulk of it's raw material from same kebbi State. And it only transport it's final products all over the country. The head office is located in Lagos. So all these accruing vat is cited as Lagos contribution to federation.
Thos is just one company in kebbi. And we have 2 branches. I only work in one plant. There are also 6 other companies in the same business in the same kebbi State.

This is impossible. The plane can reach Abuja or the required three emergency airports close to Abuja. This is a basic requirement. No aircraft can take off without fulfilling this requirement.
The scenario is the plane have plans of refuelling in Abuja and after taking off communicate with Abuja and was told there is a very long quee at ABV refilling point. So it may be easier to return and refuel at Lagos. Why doesn't it refuel in the first instance? It is possible that there a also a quee at MM of say 60 minutes. So the flight can think it is too much they can't wait only to be told that at Abuja 4 or more Boeing 747 are on quee to be refueled. That may be 4 or more hours on quee. Definitely the flight may decide Lagos is better or in extreme cases move to another airport with fuel dump for refuelling.
Since the aircraft returns to Lagos it means the time delay at Lagos is less than other places.
For those who think the story is true. An international flight can land in Lagos and about to take passengers and return to Europe but due to that quee delay in refuelling the aircraft will just take off go to Birnin Kebbi airport land there just to refuel and go back to Lagos and pick passengers to Europe. I witness this scenario multiple times.

How is the VAT generated now? It seems you know nothing about tax matters but you want to comment. All VAT generated from all the 774 local governments are always remitted through the headquarters of any company. Now most of the headquarters are located in Lagos alone. So in essence all taxes are from Lagos irrespective of transaction location.
Check your bank account tax remittance it is never from the branch you are operating it is always from The headquarters of your bank. So in essence the consumption/service is only Lagos.
If the government can break every company/ service sector into individual states the issue will not even arise. But realistically it is virtually impossible to do VAT remittance state by state as the resources the company will need will be very huge.
Many people only remember alcohol vice in their thinking. But funny enough the northern leaders are clamouring for the same thing let the remittance be at the location of the transaction or services. So alcohol will not be part of their revenue as they don't have any transaction on that so nil vat

VAT is consumption tax. So it is deducted at the final point of transaction (customer).
Now Nigeria have 36 state + FCT. A single company located in Kebbi just processing Rice have an annual 800 billion naira sales that's 60 billion naira tax remitted to the federation just from VAT. Not to talk of other company and contractual taxes. Unfortunately the company producing these products and generating these sales is fully located in Kebbi state but it is under another services company headquartered in Lagos state. So all these 60 billion Tax will appear as Lagos state VAT collection. This is the crux of the matter not Alcohol issue. This is why Lagos state have huge revenue collection at the detriment of other states.
I am sure the Northern states will have no issue if alcohol taxes are removed from their state VAT as they know they don't allow sales or consumption of alcohol (legally at least).
And come to think of it all those talking about alcohol taxes are interestingly ignorant that they can't reason that what those northern caucus are seeking for is exactly what you are claiming should be done but because it is rocket science to them they are just talking up and down and disgracing their society
VAT is shared according to remittance so in a state that have zero remittance on alcohol zero amount is expected to be given for that.

Also explain what's HARPSS-10/2 means abeg for us to get a better understanding because it's complex to believe someone on HARPSS 10/2 earning 31k as basic salary and u want to prove to us your state was paying 30k minimum wage.

I don't have to convince you on what you don't know about. Any civil servant of kebbi state they is earning less than 30k give me your computer number let me get your payslip and you can see wether you are earning the minimum wage of 30k or not

You don't even know how this scale is. The minimum is level 3. And the difference in salary between level 3 and level 8 in the state civil service is not UpTo 2000 naira.
Ask any civil servant messenger that really have offer of appointment to show you his payslip it must be above 30k
I challenge anybody that claims otherwise to prove me wrong by bringing his payslip. If he is too busy to give me his computer number and I will print out his payslip.
The above is for level 10 in the state civil service. The table is very lopsided. As those with lowest salary benefit most in any increments in minimum wage.

Kebbi has always paid 30k in the past. If you are a state civil servant go to gwadangwaji Ministry of finance second floor (computer room) ask for your payslip. Just give them your computer number they will print it out and give you within 5 minutes. And it is free of charge. No single Kobo from you.
On the payslip you will see your salary gross and net. Many people are just talking ignorantly
