Islam for Muslims / Re: Zakatul Al-fitr And Zakah On Wealth? by Ngasky(m): 3:46pm On Apr 05
I WILL ANSWER YOU ONE BY ONE
BayoSteel:

“ Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction”
Q 65:4 As for your women past the age of menstruation, in case you do not know, their waiting period is three months, and those who have not menstruated as well. As for those who are pregnant, their waiting period ends with delivery.1 And whoever is mindful of Allah, He will make their matters easy for them.
Q4:34 Men are the caretakers of women, as men have been provisioned by Allah over women and tasked with supporting them financially. And righteous women are devoutly obedient and, when alone, protective of what Allah has entrusted them with.1 And if you sense ill-conduct from your women, advise them ˹first˺, ˹if they persist,˺ do not share their beds, ˹but if they still persist,˺ then discipline them ˹gently˺.2 But if they change their ways, do not be unjust to them. Surely Allah is Most High, All-Great.
Q 4:3 If you fear you might fail to give orphan women their ˹due˺ rights ˹if you were to marry them˺, then marry other women of your choice—two, three, or four. But if you are afraid you will fail to maintain justice, then ˹content yourselves with˺ one1 or those ˹bondwomen˺ in your possession.2 This way you are less likely to commit injustice
Q 4:24 Also ˹forbidden are˺ married women—except ˹female˺ captives in your possession.1 This is Allah’s commandment to you. Lawful to you are all beyond these—as long as you seek them with your wealth in a legal marriage, not in fornication. Give those you have consummated marriage with their due dowries. It is permissible to be mutually gracious regarding the set dowry. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise
Q 5:89 Allah will not call you to account for your thoughtless oaths, but He will hold you accountable for deliberate oaths. The penalty for a broken oath is to feed ten poor people from what you normally feed your own family, or to clothe them, or to free a bondsperson. But if none of this is affordable, then you must fast three days. This is the penalty for breaking your oaths. So be mindful of your oaths. This is how Allah makes things clear to you, so perhaps you will be gratefuL
Q 33:50 O Prophet! We have made lawful for you your wives to whom you have paid their ˹full˺ dowries as well as those ˹bondwomen˺ in your possession, whom Allah has granted you.1 And ˹you are allowed to marry˺ the daughters of your paternal uncles and aunts, and the daughters of your maternal uncles and aunts, who have emigrated like you. Also ˹allowed for marriage is˺ a believing woman who offers herself to the Prophet ˹without dowry˺ if he is interested in marrying her—˹this is˺ exclusively for you, not for the rest of the believers.2 We know well what ˹rulings˺ We have ordained for the believers in relation to their wives and those ˹bondwomen˺ in their possession. As such, there would be no blame on you. And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most MercifuL
Q 58:30 THERE IS NO VERSE 30 IN CHAPTER 58 SURATUL MUJADALA the verses stop at 22
Q 70:30 except with their wives or those ˹bondwomen˺ in their possession,1 for then they are free from blame
Q 24:4 Those who accuse chaste women ˹of adultery˺ and fail to produce four witnesses, give them eighty lashes ˹each˺. And do not ever accept any testimony from them—for they are indeed the rebellious
Q 9:29 Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day, nor comply with what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden, nor embrace the religion of truth from among those who were given the Scripture,1 until they pay the tax,2 willingly submitting, fully humbled
Q 8:12 ˹Remember, O Prophet,˺ when your Lord revealed to the angels, “I am with you. So make the believers stand firm. I will cast horror into the hearts of the disbelievers. So strike their necks and strike their fingertips
Q 47:4 So when you meet the disbelievers ˹in battle˺, strike ˹their˺ necks until you have thoroughly subdued them, then bind them firmly. Later ˹free them either as˺ an act of grace or by ransom until the war comes to an end. So will it be. Had Allah willed, He ˹Himself˺ could have inflicted punishment on them. But He does ˹this only to˺ test some of you by means of others. And those who are martyred in the cause of Allah,1 He will never render their deeds void
Q 9:11 But if they repent, perform prayer, and pay alms-tax, then they are your brothers in faith. This is how We make the revelations clear for people of knowledge.
Q 2:217 They1 ask you ˹O Prophet˺ about fighting in the sacred months.2 Say, “Fighting during these months is a great sin. But hindering ˹others˺ from the Path of Allah, rejecting Him, and expelling the worshippers from the Sacred Mosque is ˹a˺ greater ˹sin˺ in the sight of Allah. For persecution3 is far worse than killing. And they will not stop fighting you until they turn you away from your faith—if they can. And whoever among you renounces their own faith and dies a disbeliever, their deeds will become void in this life and in the Hereafter. It is they who will be the residents of the Fire. They will be there forever.”
Q 4:89 They wish you would disbelieve as they have disbelieved, so you may all be alike. So do not take them as allies unless they emigrate in the cause of Allah. But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them, and do not take any of them as allies or helpers
These are the verses quoted.

the inscription means victory is from God.
as for the Arabic inscription go and ask your grandparents from the world war times it is always the northern Muslims that always pay the highest price because more than 70% of our troops are Northern Muslims.
as for changing it. if the foe at the civil war has succeeded over the Muslim Nigerian troops in the civil war then that inscription wont be there. so if there is need for its removal a rematch is needed

It's absolutely impossible for every country to sight the moon especially in this part of the world. Other countries rely on middle east who are a geographical advantage to sight the moon.
sorry i want to make a correction here. locations in the western hemisphere have advantage over the middle east/ eastern hemisphere by the simple logic of geographical location.
any first sighting of moon on the first day must be sighted before maghrib that's before 7pm in the evening. any sighting of the moon on the first day after 7pm is impossible.
most times by the time the moon will be visible on the first day it will be night already to the eastern/middle eastern countries. but those in the western part will see it on that day.
eg. if the moon is supposed to be visible at 6pm GMT time. that means 11pm Saudi Arabia time, or 7pm Nigeria time. the moon will be visible but already Saudi Arabia is night time so it is impossible to sight it there, Nigeria is 7 pm so there is a chance of its sighting on that day as it is not nighttime here at 7pm. the moon is one all over the world, and on the first day the moon will only be visible for 5mins

Kangiwa is a border town between Nigeria and Niger republic.
This op is a liar. And he knew exactly what happened but choose to pretend otherwise
One. There is no single market where you can buy donkey meat at that area. And if you decided to buy live donkeys and slaughter them. You will definitely be arrested as donkey meat is taboo to the locals.
Secondly, that paper is fake. No veterinarian will certify such in kebbi state.
Third, give us the name of that market where you bought 200 million naira worth of any smoked meat in the whole kebbi state. Smoking meat has never been a procedure to preserve meat in the whole kebbi. Nobody can get 1000 naira smoked meat of any animal in kebbi. Not to talk about donkey meat.

The headline is different from the body od the report. Unfortunately the english professionals failed to notice. Check this sentence
"Yahaya, who stated during a familiarization visit to 31 Artillery Brigade and Tradoc Minna, Niger State, said the army will be MORE resolute and decisive in dealing with them."
From the above piece. The bold shows they are dealing with them hard and the capital word is saying they will improve on their efficiency.
Are we expecting him to say they will do less? Atleast he is talking to his troops on the frontline are those troops on picnic? Anybody knew those military are engaging the criminals at every possible contact. This is guerilla war. Criminals melt with the local population and how can you differentiate criminal from innocent villager? They dont have uniform or specific position that can be targeted. They are always on the move. They also choose their target without any modus operandi. So it is by intelligent by the local villagers that military can reach them at the point of their criminality and engaged them. Now add the problem of informers in the villages what did you have?

Why the hate?
There are professors in their 30s. Now does that mean the ASUU FUTO are not members of ASUU? He was elevated by the institution run by same ASUU. They kick in and form a team to investigate, now after the investigation they are rejecting the recommendation of their team they are to form another team? If this is not vindictive then what is?
Or is it because he is a Muslim? All the other professors elevated together with him nobody is doubting their elevation, or is it coincidence?
