Barbarism at this age? |
I read this epistle to see those projects but ended up not having a single named project since his inauguration in 2015. Pls. Those in Benue should help us list all capital projects embarked by him. Or does that mean he is inviting the president to come and witness the bidding process of selling the state owned assets as his project? I think inviting the presidency is wrong rather he should invite the heads of ICPC and EFCC to come and help him commission the stealing of state assets Thefunny aspect is who will buy up those assets? Your guess is as good as mine BafanaBafana: |
Johnrake69:For verifying someones info. It only works if the other person agrees to show you his barcode and also agree to share his info with you. If the person is not ready to share his info with you run away from him as there is something he is hiding and you should stay away from him/her as much as possible |
Actually that credit is only for those who want to verify others, eg an employer wants to verify info on his staffs or prospective staff before hiring them. This will give the employer full details of his new prospective staff and therefore give him rest of mind that so so person can not run away with my funds as he can never change those details and recovery will be easier and faster. Secondly, security personnel eg at the airport/park will just need to scan your barcode and all information on who you are will be at their disposal. Security wise this is a good development. The issue of using bogus details to book for hotel will be a thing of the past. As the hotel will just verify your details before giving you room. No running away after committing crime Just like what happen to the tv star few weeks ago. Generally the level of trust will increase as it will be more difficult to pretend to be someone else apart from real you. In all these the one to pay is the person who want to investigate not the person being investigated. That is the essence of that credit. Imagine if i am to be a landlord/caretaker. i will definitely pay that small change to have full info on prospective tenant so that whatever happen i know who and where to go and get that person |
We should respect each others religion. But i dont know what they are teaching them in the churches but definitely this hatred and abuse has never been in the bible |
For the past few years Nigeria has been engulfed in this problem of kidnapping and banditry in general. kidnapping can be either for criminally economic gratification or terrorism inclined. in Nigeria the kidnapping started as a terrorism but quickly metamorphosed into the economic gratification. this problem started in the Niger delta as the terrorism aspect to draw political attention to their plight in the region due to the effect of the exploration of oil in the Niger delta region. but the actors rather immediately recognize the economical benefit of using kidnapping for financial inducement, thereby abandoning the original intent and rep[lacing it with the quick monetary gain. for more than two decades the problem is largely limited to the creeks in the Niger delta. but unfortunately it has crawled hinterland to the extent that nowadays it engulf the entire nation. I started by brief explanation of the origin of the problem but my post is mainly about the solution to this kidnapping/banditry that became rampant in the country. There are many different actors who need to do what they are supposed to do to control this menace. these are: 1. Government 2. Parents. 3. Traditional/ Religious leaders. 4. Youths. 5. General Community. my post today is on General Community per se. the solution to Kidnapping/ Banditry have two stages, the first stage is: STOPPAGE OF RANSOME PAYMENT. This is very difficult and the most important aspect of the solution. as far as money is going to these criminals they will never stop. the more money that they receive the more weapons they will buy and more recruits they will engage and expand their operations. they threaten to kill the hostages and yes they will even kill some but the reality is they need the ransom to keep buying guns and bullets, without ransom there will be no bullet to operate. I believe if today ransom will stop 100% in the next three years the issue of kidnapping will became history. so this is the best solution but unfortunately the most difficult to follow. SECURITY CONCIOUSNESS FROM THE PUBLIC As the first solution is difficult to observe 100% this one can be observed if we really want to, because this one is within our control and power. security is general concern, as such if we take the issue of security as really ours, the criminals will have no space to operate. we should be our neighbor's keeper by protecting our areas, in this aspect I don't mean arming people with guns. No we arm them with information. at least more than 80% of Nigerian citizens have and operate mobile phones, but the question is how many people have the phone number of their DPO or any security officer that is operating within their immediate environment? check your phone did you have a security personnel's phone number that you can call in case of emergency? this person should be in your ward or local government not assistant commissioner or police commissioner. you need emergency response not chain of command when in emergency. these criminals are not spirits and they don't fall from the sky, the use the roads you and I use now if we can take the attitude of IF YOU SEE SOMETHING YOU SAY SOMETHING I mean any criminal act you observe you will just call the security operatives the rate of crime will definitely reduce if not totally eliminated. for example a farmer goes to his farm in the bush in the morning, he saw these bandits passing by, he is not going to challenge them NO all he has to do is allow them to pass freely and immediately they are out of sight he can use his mobile phone to call the security operatives and inform the what he observe that's all. it will be up to them to confront them and deal with the situation. |
This is good development. we need to follow rules and order in all our human endeavours |
good development |
The society has lost it's value |

Nigerians are the most educated illiterates in the world. Nobody needs you IMEI from your. It is readily available to the security agencies through the network operators. IMEI is the first thing your mobile phone sends to network providers masts when you switched on your phone. After this details were sent then network will register and appear on your mobile phone. So before your phone is even ready to make or receive call after switching on the IMEI was already registered. Security agencies have been using it to track Stolen/missing phones since the invention of mobile phones. Every single phone has unique IMEI. Just press *#06# on your phone your IMEI will display. The only way to track stolen phone is through IMEI. Some try to mask their IMEI by using software but it is futile because it will shoe you different IMEI but the actual IMEI cannot be changed as it is combination id of the hardware processor of the phone. So the only possible solution is to remove the processor and put another one into the phone. Which is economically futile. So it will not be possible. This is for security reasons. So only criminals will be concerned with this development |

sentix:So tell me how the printed money was shared. Or can you check your dictionary for the meaning of *PRINTING* |
Esseite:What is the meaning of Printing in your hamlet? Or diea crediting electronically means printing in your vocabulary? |
Who is responsible for printing money? Secondly, did they share the printed cash at the federal executive meeting where all the governors and ministers are present? No single camera pic of the governors carrying sacks of printed money away from Aso rock venue? I wish we have educated literates but unfortunately what we are having are educated illiterates roaming the streets with degree paper. Printing money is always on regular basis to replace the mutilated ones, and nowadays more transactions were electronically based not cash based. So the issue of printing for sharing does not arise. Or can someone tell me a single state in Nigeria that is paying salary or state contractors with physical cash? Sharing money from reserves is a normal tradition. In fact that is the main reason for creating those special accounts. To save for rainy days. Of what essence is the account if not to share when the state revenues goes down? All the big taxes from companies are paid once in a year. As such that particular month the company paid. And will not pay again till next year. As such the government has to save the excess amount pending the months with lower revenue. So what is the deal here? |
Stupidity. The laws on recovered funds is very clear. Any money recovered from public/civil servant goes directly to the federation account. The only way the money can go to another person/company is when it is private organisation or individual money that was stolen in the first place. If an individual/private organization funds were swindled they can invite the EFCC to help them in recovering the said sum and/or prosecution, in such situation the funds will be returned to that same individual/organisation. Whereas if the money was looted from the public treasury (federal/state/local government) the recovered fund goes back to federation account no question on that. The penalty to the state/local government or federal parastatal that allow the funds to he stolen in the first place is they will loose the whole money which they allow by their action/inaction to be stolen. Now to this case the case involves different countries, and the rule of recovering from western countries is that before they repatriate the funds they must know what it is going to be used for, and they will be monitoring the process throughout to make sure it was followed diligently. Also Delta claims no funds were missing, so how can they receive something that is not missing in the first place? Delta state should forget this money. They will never get it back. |
Trabelsi10:Why are we so heartless? Instead of you to help the unemployed youth to have something you are here trying to fleece them. What will you gain by doing so? I wrote this NASIMS test for more than 30 people and my scores are between 65-90%. (75% is the mode even thought My own test I scored 70%) some of them I never even saw their face before free of charge. I use my data to do that. Money is not the ultimate aim. Putting happiness in someone's life should be our priority. We can make our society better by providing selfless services |
Pharmumar:You must have took the test at least twice without submitting after the test. Don't try to be smart as you finish the test just submit and take your chances. The good news is they will allow you to retake the test after few days time ( at least 2 or more days). So keep trying. And when you are lucky to enter do your test as fast as possible and make sure you submit before the stipulated 20 minutes elapse. Check my post for about 80 sample questions from the current nasims test. https://www.nairaland.com/6463218/npower-2021-questions |
