Why the hate? There are professors in their 30s. Now does that mean the ASUU FUTO are not members of ASUU? He was elevated by the institution run by same ASUU. They kick in and form a team to investigate, now after the investigation they are rejecting the recommendation of their team they are to form another team? If this is not vindictive then what is? Or is it because he is a Muslim? All the other professors elevated together with him nobody is doubting their elevation, or is it coincidence? Here is his Biography Isa Ali Ibrahim, PhD (Pantami) is the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Professor Ibrahim obtained a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science (B.Tech), from the Federal University of Technology, known as the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, and proceeded to acquire two Masters Degrees from the same institution in quick succession. One in Computer Science (MSc) and the other, an MBA in Technology Management. His scholarly pursuits then led him to the Robert Gordon University Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom, where he obtained a Doctorate in Computer Science (PhD), specializing in Computer Information Systems. He is also a Professor of Cybersecurity. Prior to his appointment as a Minister, he was the Director General (DG)/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA). He is currently the Chief Digital Officer of the Federation, based on the National Policy for Virtual Engagements in Federal Public Institutions. He has also been a Chairman and member of several Presidential and Inter-Ministerial Committees, including Committee on Citizen Data Management and Harmonization, National Committee on Export Promotion, Digital Identity Ecosystem Steering Committee, National Action Committee on African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement (AfCFTA). He was also appointed as AfCFTA Champion for Communications and Digital Economy, as well as Chairman, Presidential Steering Committee for National Identity. Under the leadership of Professor Ibrahim, as the first Minister of Digital Economy, a National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy (2020 - 2030) and National Broadband Plan (2020 - 2025) were developed, among others, and many unprecedented successes recorded. In less than a year, as the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the lingering issue of excessive Right of Way charges and vandalism of telecommunication infrastructure have been effectively addressed. Under his stewardship, broadband penetration increased by more than 10% in a year, instead of the average annual increase of about 1.7%, and the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector contributed an unprecedented 17.83% to the GDP based on the Q2 2020 GDP Report by National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). The ICT sector was also the fastest growing sector of the Nigerian economy in the 4th Quarter of 2020, growing at a rate of 14.70%. He initiated the first Virtual Federal Executive Council and first National Security Council meeting on the 13th of May 2020 and has been coordinating the technical aspects of the meetings since then. This saved government money running into billions of Naira monthly. Recently, his achievements have led to him being recognised and awarded with; the 2020 Minister of the Year Award by the Blueprint Newspaper; Most Outstanding Minister of the Year 2021 by Elite Exclusive Magazine; and Digital Economy Driver Award by the National Body of Nigeria Information Technology Reporters Association (NITRA), amongst others. In fact, he has received over 150 awards from 2017 to date. Professor Ibrahim also holds certificates in Digital Transformation from Harvard University, Digital Strategy from both Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Institute of Management Development (IMD), Lausanne, Switzerland, Strategic Leadership from Oxford University, and a University of Cambridge Certification in Management. The dynamic, inspirational agent of transformation is also a conflict resolution expert with national and international experiences in that regard. Professor Ibrahim lectured at various universities for almost two decades, teaching ICT courses. He is still engaged with the academia voluntarily, as a professor. During his early days, Professor Ibrahim was a lecturer at the Federal University of Technology, Bauchi. Ibrahim is a recipient of several global awards and is a well sought-after speaker, delivering convocation lectures in a number of public and private universities, including the Federal University of Technology Minna, the Nile University, the Federal University Kashere and the National Defence College, among others. He has also served as a Speaker at leading global events like Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona, Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) in Dubai, the GSMA Africa Policy Leaders Forum, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Las Vegas and International Telecommunications Union (ITU) events, amongst others. As an expert in key fields like the digital economy and cybersecurity, he also teaches and serves as a resource person to several institutions, including the *National Defence College. *Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo State. *Nigerian Army Resource Centre. *National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies. He is the Champion of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program (REAP), Abuja- a global initiative that helps regions accelerate economic growth and promote social progress through Innovation-Driven Entrepreneurship (IDE). He has published several academic articles in high impact journals, presented papers in more than 150 conferences and published several books. He has also visited over 30 countries. Isa Ali Ibrahim who is popularly known as the Digital Minister, is a global IT citizen, a revered and highly respected Fellow of the Nigerian and British Computer Societies, as well as a Fellow of Cybersecurity Group of the British Computer Society. WITH ABOVE CV IS HE NOT QUALIFIED TO BE A PROFESSOR? OR RATHER HOW MANY PROFESSORS HAVE THIS CALIBER OF CV? |
the number 8/11/2021 means date 8th of November 2021. the 00000001 is supposed to be serial number but for now it is a dummy number |
Now the bandits are turning into terrorists. They are inadvertly turning their criminality into political/leadership gratification. As such they will soon be declared terrorists. Before now they are only interested in the money they are getting from their crimes but now they foolishly want to rule through the terror. |
Our courts should know that there is limit to suit they can even entertain. how can somebody file a lawsuit to expel other citizens of the same country? if they are aliens it is understandable. or if they were successful in getting their Biafra. definitely all their citizens/members whether born in Biafra territory or any other location should be made to leave Nigerian state, likewise all our citizens over there in Biafra land must return to Nigerian territory. |
Proudlyngwa:Sorry who taught you DC doesn't have voltage? A 220v ac referred as root mean square voltage is equivalent to 156v dc Lighting is an multiple impulse signal of magnitude 30 million voltages and 30,000 Amps current. If you are a student of electrical engineering you know what just 10 amps going through your body by 240v at a fraction of a second is enough to kill you instantly. I repeat there is no way lightning can go through a small mirochips environment like phone and that phone to ever work again. It is impossible. And there is no way lightining can touch a body without any burning sign on the skin at least at the area of contact. |
Paperbag:It is not Lightining that strikes you but a panic attack. Can you show us the burning injury on your body? No way a lightining can strike you and no burning signs on your skin |
Proudlyngwa:Sorry am an Electrical Engineer with 12 years working experience in electrical and electronics Engineering. Including power station. So maybe i need to start learning voltage and amperes. |
DSC7:that lightning didn't go through you or your phone man. there is no way the phone will ever work after receiving just normal 220v from the socket in your house not to talk of lightning that is sometimes in the range of 1 million volts. the highest transmission towers from power stations in Nigeria carry only 330 kv and you can even hear the sound of it going through the cable at some distance away not to talk of 3x that. what you have is panic attack not anything from the lightning. all the same go to hospital and check out your blood pressure and heart echo tests. |
Baltimore22:sorry this is 33kv line. If it was 330kv line he will be dead long before he gets so close to the line |
What is the meaning of presidential air fleet? Many thought it is just the aircrafts. Rather it is that and more. The pilots, engineers, hostesses, security managing this fleet are personnel of the Nigerian airforce but their salaries, allowances, trainings and certifications all are part of that budget |

Sir. Ahmadu Bello International Airport has a 3100m runway |
HajiaNotu:I am telling you what happens to me with location and time frame and you are still claiming it doesnt happen. For years i kept these two voters cards but unfortunately i lost them i would have uploaded them here. There was never a time where fingeeprint of the whole world was captured and matched to know that no 2 different fingerprints matched. This is all hypothesis which can never be proven by any scientific method but can only be assumed |
WaffenSS:Forget that assumption. Even in the west fingerprint is not the ultimate proof. When the detectives successfully extracted complete fingerprint from crime scene they run it on the criminals database. It will show multiple people in the search they will now zero in on those possibly within the vicinity of the crime at the time the crime was committed and bring them in for questioning. Lets assume a crime was committed in Lagos at 7pm and the search brings 18 criminals. Out of the 18, 3 are in Sokoto , 2 in maiduguri, 7 are in jail already, 2 in adamawa detention center, 1 is in porthacourt 2 are in lagos while 1 is in ogun. The police will now bring in those 2 that are in Lagos for questioning and possibly the one from ogun. So the suspects will be those 3 due to their vicinity with the crime scene at the time of the crime. this us how it works not that the computer will just show one person when searched. Also scientifically is there any time where all human beings in the world where fingerprinted and proven that no 2 people have same curls, whorls and pit pattern? It is just an assumption which was never proven with certainty. Also look at the area under consideration (thumb) and analyse how many thousands of patterns are posible on that small area? Now imagine more than 4 billion people having different shapes of fingerprint |
WaffenSS:I had an experience back in 2010 when registering people for voters card. Two different people come to my registration point at folawiyo farms gate, Oyo. they have the same fingerprint but they are two different people, in fact it I later found out that they are father and son but having same fingerprint. the father was 70+ years while the son is about 40 years, so two people can really have the same fingerprint |
continue killing yourselves over there we will clap for you from here |
nice they should continue their madness. i wonder how one spite his face in order to hurt someone else |
very cheap phone with a very little police issue |
Janella1:no problem just go with your nd result. all the current postings are to junior secondary and primary schools |
Aarenasbaba:YOU SHOULD HAVE UPDATED THE NPOWER DOB TO REFLECT THAT ON THE BVN. IT IS SIMPLER THAT WAY JUST GO TO NIRSAL WEBSITE AND FILL AS IF YOU WANT TO APPLY FOR TCF LOAN WHEN ASKED FOR BVN PUT HER BVN THERE YOU WILL DSEE HER NAME AND BVN DETAILS INCLUDED IN BVN DATA |
Aarenasbaba:check her date of birth on her bvn record . then go into her profile and edit her info. make sure you put the correct date of birth on her bvn into the date of birth on the profile, update her local government of origin and residence upload all documents uploaded when registering upload her passport then submit. after the update is successful then go and press download ppa then update her bvn and account. if successful it will tell you to go to so so location for physical verification |
A question for thought. If the borders are as porous as claimed who will pay 20k to move 1 AK47 through a distance of less than 10 km? Yes it is true that there are hundreds of illegal entries but the security agencies and border patrols are really trying with limited capabilities they have to secure these entries. No single country can secure its border 100%. Even USA/Mexico border that was highly walled The smuggling is still ongoing. Yes the customs, immigration and police needs to up their game. But we know it is a very large expense of land. Nigeri/Niger border is more than 1600 km in length. If you want to understand what this means from Sokoto to Lagos by road is just 960 km. Now imagine a distance of almost 2x sokoto to lagos. And all this distance is bush/ mountain/rivers not paved road. How can you secure it? This is just Niger border, what about Benin border, cameroon border, chad border with Nigeria? The bitter truth is even 2 million border personnel cannot secure our borders with our neighbours. the only solution is collaboration between communities along the border with security agencies. but those at the borders are benefitting financially from these criminalities. So what should be the solution? |
The venue in your local government is one of the following: 1. The local goverment office of your posting. 2. The primary/basic (primary/junior secondary) educational center of your local gocernment. 3. NYSC office of your local government. If you dont know your venue i will advise you should look for anybody in your local government that has venue and go to that venue. In the case of you dont know anybody. First go to local government office. Most likely it is the venue. Even if it is not they will direct you to the right venue. Take original and photocopies of your documents ie * Id card/voters card *certificate *NYSC certificate/exemption if available *local government indigene *PPA posting letter if you have downloaded it earlier. If not take not of your npower id. That is your number that starts with NPWR/2020/........ Optional *BVN printout if you have it or write down your BVN and account number * passport pics Just prepare all your originals and go with them |

What a great startegy from CBN. Thenext step is following it up with 2000 naira per single dollar not remiited. They should automatically deduct culprits BVN linked accounts. This will definitely eliminate round tripping of Dollars |

what are the people on that street doing? it is not government that will come and take care of your house for you. look at those interlocks, the person who put it there thinks he is making his place beautiful, not knowing that he is creating a bigger problem of water logging as the water cannot penetrate into the soil as it is supposed to. and if the water cannot go through where did you think it will stay? i am sure if the government agency in terms of planning ask him not to use interlock he will be shouting that authorities are trying to interfere with his personal freedom. now you put interlocks without plan for drainage what are you complaining of? |
Seniorwriter:Sorry itseems you dont understand antiphrase i used above. Why is it that all those openly supporting such nudity and sexual content sharing comes from christian background? I study the bible and to tge best of my understanding i observe that bible abhors in strongest terms nudity and sexuality in society, the question tgat baffles me is that where does these days christians get their support to anything sexuality comes from? I believe not from churches. So from where? Or does that means there is a new religion using the garments of christianity? As to this case no single person here will want to support his daughter to be in tge xrated content sharing this particular lady indulge in. The question is the statement "love your neighbor as you love yourself" no longer christian like? |
I dont know the religion that support nudity and exposing sexual contents. Can anyone here tell me? Why is it that all those openly supporting such nudity and sexual content sharing comes from christian background? I study the bible and to the best of my understanding i observe that bible abhors in strongest terms nudity and sexuality in society, the question that baffles me is that where does these days christians get their support to anything sexual immorality comes from? I believe not from churches. So from where? Or does that means there is a new religion using the garments of christianity? As to this case no single person here will want to support his daughter to be in the x-rated content sharing this particular lady indulge in. The question is the statement "love your neighbor as you love yourself" no longer christian like? She is a Muslim. And she is still professing that she is a Muslim Why are christians here concerned about her going against the tenets of her religion? Why did they want everyone to behave as they are behaving by going against the tenets of their religion? |
Limassol:According to NBC 33.3% thats equivalent to atleast 70 million Nigerians are unemployed. Ask yourself those unemployed are they eating sand? Or how did they get food to eat? If they didnt eat how come they are still surviving? By that assessment if we share equally it means 2 million people per state. I challenge you to bring a single picture of 10 really hungry people in your locality. As far as one can eat and have energy that person is not unemployed. Whoever is an artisan, farmer, trader did not qualify as unemployed. What we have is under employment and high ambition by the job seekers. under employment in the sense that the pay is too small compared with same qualifications. and high ambition especially by the graduates. every graduate is expecting hundreds of thousands per month plus 4 beadroom flat + 5 million naira car + driver and retinue of househelps. that is realistically impossible. Let me tell you one secret. if you want to be rich go into Agriculture. either crops or husbandry thats where the real money is. but unfortunately our youths only want white collar jobs. Let me give you example. Muslims use to go for hajj as one of the pillars of religion. did you know that every single person that go to hajj for just 30 days or less must have paid at least 1.5 million naira? From Nigeria only more than 60 thousand people use to go every single year apart from those going for lesser hajj if not for this pandemic. Out of this number 90% are from villages only 10% are from the towns and cities. out of these 10% only about 4% are civil servants. it is very difficult for a civil servant to save and go for hajj as every month the salary will be almost 99% spent so no savings. Those 90% from villages are farmers. they will toil the land or raise their livestock and get their millions one time. Now the funny part is did you know by NBC standard all those villagers are unemployed? You will also see a begger on the street and give him 10 naira. unknown to you that begger is richer than you. he owns fleet of trailers or herds of cattle somewhere in his village. and you will be pitying the stupid man begging. i have no sympathy for beggers. they are not poor just that they consider begging as a source of livelyhood |
