My wife asked me, what's wrong with what her sister was wearing.
I wanted to open my mouth to tell her that, it wasn't what she was wearing before I left to get her, but I decided to embrace silence, so I don't look like a bad husband who was looking for a reason to have his sister inlaw leave his house. And besides, she won't even believe me if I tell her that, her sister tried to have a thing with me.

So I left them there and went inside. I was trying to be a good husband by remaining faithful to my wife, yet my efforts kept making me look wicked in her eyes.

When she joined me in the bedroom, she sat beside me and asked if I truly want her sister to leave. That I should tell her categorically instead of searching for an excuse. That she didn't see any wrong in what she was wearing.

Then, I told her to go to sleep, that I'm Ok with her staying.
She asked if I was sure, I told her yes, that she should go back to sleep.
And then, she went back to sleep.

I felt terribly bad that my wife failed to understand the signs on my face. I'm her husband, she was supposed to understand my body language, that I wasn't lying, but she chose to continue hanging on to the desire of having her sister live with us, all for what? Just for house chores.
We don't even have kids yet, how is the chores too heavy for her? I then, began seeing her as the lazy type.
I turned over and began staring at her face. I started harbouring this anger, while still looking at her. She should have understood the message that was evident on my face and not turning a blind eye.

Then, the event of that night started flashing my head. Amaka's beautiful eyes started blinking at me. I tried to wave it away so that, it doesn't get hold of me. But never! It was already late.

My husband insist I kneel and apologize to his sidechick or this happens

Before getting married, I have always known that, all men are the same and that cheating is a natural thing to them.
So I conditioned my mind not to get affected if eventually my husband turns to be one of them.

And just like I predicted, he joined the league.
I accepted my fate and allowed it not to affect my peace of my mind. At a point, I started wondering if I truly love my husband, that I should be mad with jealousy that he is cheating on me, but still, I still see myself not giving a FK about it. He can live his life the way he wants, provided it doesn't affect our marriage.

I cherish peace of mind more than any thing.
Even my sister knows about his cheating escapades, and even the girl he is going out with.
And the ugly thing is that, this said girl is living in the next street.
You can imagine the level of insult and disrespect.
Many concerned neighbours have given me several advise on how to disgrace the girl, so that she won't near my husband ever again, but I still turned a blind eye.
And you can imagine his audacity. When my second child had his 1st birthday, this my husband had the effrontery to invite this girl to the party and even gave her a special treatment. Everybody wanted me to react, even my sister almost bursted, but what did I do? I pretended like I saw nothing, so that peace will continue reigning in my home.
This my husband was taking my silence to mean weakness and stupidity.
My sister who couldn't stand the sight of the girl angrily left the party.

In my home, I share bills with my husband. He takes care of house rent, children's school fees and other expenses, while I take care of electricity bills and feeding.
I never slack in my own responsibilities. We have never run out of food in the house and likewise electricity. I take care of it, even before the unit runs out.
But recently, it's becoming a different case for my husband.

He is now owing house rent. Our rent was due last 4 months and this man kept complaining that, he doesn't have money to pay.
And since I hate disgrace and insult, I decided to pay with my own money, demanding he refund me once he gets the money.
He agreed, but I'm sure I won't be seeing that money again. My mind told me that, he intentionally left it for me to take care of it. He almost did the same thing with the children's school fees, but I strongly maintained my ground that I don't have money, that he shouldn't allow the children to be disgraced and sent out of school. So he later paid the fees.

This man is not having any challenges in his business, so what's happening with his money? Where are they going to? What or who is he spending it on?

He comes home late every night and sometimes, he won't return at all. Some times, he will spend like 3 to 5 days before finally coming home.
I don't disturb him as a wife. I don't encroach on his peace of mind. I don't nag on any little issue. I also don't deny him myself. I always give it to him anytime he request it, provided I'm not in my period. But, he is still not contented with me.
He hasn't complained on anything regarding my wifely duties, I make sure my husband doesn't lack anything that would make him go outside, but yet, he is still not satisfied. He went outside and started cheating on me with a girl who is old enough to be my first daughter.

When his excesses was becoming too much, I decided that it's time I act, so that, he doesn't think that I'm "OK' with his lifestyle.

Just last week, this girl was gifted a Corolla car on her birthday, but didn't mention who bought it for her. I know my husband was the one who got it for her. That's what he was saving up for and decided not to pay the rent.

So, I informed my sister of my intentions to take actions on this girl, that I was getting fed up with keeping silence and turning a blind eye.
So my sister bought the idea immediately and eager to take actions.
We went to her school and disgraced her in front of everyone.
I didn't know if that was the good thing to do, but my anger clouded my eyes. My intention was for her to stay away from my husband. Her involvement in his life was becoming a disturbance in my marriage.
I saw the shame that displayed on her face. Everybody was taking videos, capturing the monent as my sister continued venting her anger on her. She said a lot to her, to the hearing of everyone, exposing what she was doing with my husband. And when she tried to tear her down by stripping her, then I knew it was time to stop.
I went to my sister and dragged her out, asking that, it was enough, that we should leave.
She still insisted that, she wasn't done with the girl, but I maintained we leave the place.
So we left. But my conscience kept bothering me on whether we did the right thing or not. On whether, I took the right approach.
But the real drama began after my husband rushed home.

The day her husband finds out she will be the one crying and begging if he wants to kick her out. Nothing is a secret forever. Of course, blame men for your own actions as if you don't have freewill to make choices. Are there not widows who have not had sex since their husbands death? Are there not Reverend Sisters and Nuns who have taken vows of celibacy and keep to it. There is more to life than just sex. Don't blame some men for having side chicks then because there a lot of women whose behaviour make their husbands seek for pleasure outside. If he doesn't give her money, no sex, if he doesn't do what she wants, no sex. Sex happens only when she feels like it which could take months. A person that wants to cheat will cheat, a person that will not do it will not do it. If it so, they should cancel wedding vows, it has no use since you can violate it for whatever reason you can make up. Temptation is a constant, you choose whether to fall or not.

My excited wife doesn't know what she signed up for.
Despite seeing my clear stand against the idea, she still went ahead to do what was in her mind.

I will first, start by advising all the wives out there. Please, when your husband says something, obey him. He is the man, the head of the house and always has his reasons. Stop dragging shoulders with him.

Everything started after my wife kept complaining incessantly on the need to have a house help.
I told her that, I'm not that buoyant enough to start feeding extra mouth. And it wouldn't end on feeding the person alone, I will also send him or her to school. I also pleaded with her that, I will be offering my help in places that fits necessary. She was complaining that the house chores was becoming too much on her. She works with one big company here in Lagos. I won't mention the name of the company.

I explained my financial status to her, but she still doesn't want to have it my way. She said that, she can't kill herself with work, because she is married to me. That, she needs someone who can help her take care of things at home.
That most times, when she returns from work, she usually feels tired and won't have the strength to enter the kitchen and prepare something for us to eat.
Though, I'm not good in house chores, but I still manage to have one or two things done.
I wash my clothes myself, and sometimes when I'm washing mine, I took her dirty ones and wash.
Sometimes, she text me a list of food items and ask me to help her buy them while coming home, since my office is very close to the market. And as the good husband I am, I will always obey without any argument.
My wife is not satisfied with my little efforts of easing her stress.
When she noticed that, my stance against getting a house help was very stiff, she then brought up the idea of having her younger sister, Amaka around.
I gave her this shocking look that made her remember the stand she took when got married.
She said that, this marriage should be between us alone and that, she won't like the idea of having our family members meddling around.
That she will talk to her own family and instruct them to only visit and go and not start living with us.
Well, I didn't object to that. I accepted the idea wholeheartedly, because she has more siblings and I wouldn't want them to start flooding my house.
So I controlled my own family and prevent them from interfering.

So, I reminded her this and asked her if she was changing her mind.
And she gave the reasons that, since I was complaining of not having the money to train anyone in school, that her younger sister, Amaka won't be an issue, that she was done with secondary school. And that, she doesn't have the intention of enrolling into any higher institution, that she wants to learn tailoring. That staying with us, won't be a problem.

She gave so many reasons for me to agree to her demand.
But I still maintained my stand, and requested her to stick to our initial agreement of not having any family members around to avoid any unexpected issues.

She then asked me what I meant by "issues"?
I didn't respond to that.

That her sister she was talking about, I remember how she wanted to play a game, to fall into my arms, during our wedding period.
She entered my bathroom, while I was stark naked, bathing.
I screamed and asked her what she was doing there, she gave me a smile, saying that she thought that I called her.
I scolded her and asked her to get out of my bathroom.
Imagine her audacity. Then, she was 17 years old.
I didn't tell my wife about it, so that she doesn't start feeling insecure with me, around her siblings.
They are about 8 siblings, 7 girls and a boy.
She is the 2nd child.

My wife was still insisting on bringing her over. When it looked like the thing was creating issues for our marriage, I decided to allow her have her way.
Having Amaka living with us, is definitely going to affect things. I tried all my best to talk her out of that idea, but she still maintained stubborn.

Finally, she invited Amaka over.
And she was excited. Amaka was even more excited. She never stopped telling me how Amaka almost jumped out of her phone when she gave her the news, and said that, she can't wait to have her over.
And finally, the 18 year old Amaka arrived my home.
She still never changed.
The day she entered, my wife took her to greet me. She greeted me so courteously, but my unsuspecting wife didn't notice that her sister, whom she was so excited to receive just gave me a wink, seductively.
