Hundreds of President Muhammadu Buhari’s ardent loyalist on Saturday threatened to dump the president and APC over what they described as wanton political neglect and very poor governance.
The loyalist who gathered in Birnin Kebbi under the leadership of the state chairman, Buhari support organisation, Alhaji Musa Abubakar Dan malikin Argungu said that the motive behind the gathering was to consult with members drawn from the 21 local governments in Kebbi state to arrive at a decision to stay or quit APC.
However divergent views were expressed with the majority opting out of APC justifying their reasons that, the ruling party have neglected them from the bottom to the top saying staying in the party means they are comfortable with the way Buhari is running the country which is not true.
Responding on the stand or otherwise, the BSO leader said that, he is disappointed in Buhari given the very bad situations he has plunged the nation “in 2015 before elections we supported Buhari because we believed he can turn around the country in all sectors but we are seeing directly opposite of what he promised Nigerians, no one is safe in the country and the economy is almost dead, imagine a common terrorist threatening to abduct Buhari and a governor and nothing was done.
He added that politically Buhari and the governor of Kebbi state also neglected them after winning elections, we, therefore, cannot continue this way so very soon we will take a stand he said but the president has betrayed us we must tell him, I was one time a member of Buhari campaign organisation at Abuja, therefore, I am a stakeholder in the Buhari project.

Following the crisis rocking the Lagos chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as it prepares for the 2023 general election, another chieftain of the party has dumped the ruling APC for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
The chieftain, Wasiu Habeeb popularly called Allahu Barki, who was a former aspirant in APC during the recent local Government election for Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
His defection came days after another APC chieftain in the state, Moshood Salvador, defected to the Labour Party (LP) and was picked as it’s gubernatorial candidate for 2023 poll in the state.
Allahu Barki was received by the PDP governorship candidate for Lagos, Olajide Adediran also known as Jandor at his campaign office yesterday in the state.
The PDP guber candidate described Allahu Barki’s defection to the party as a big boost to the fortunes of the PDP in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government as well as across the state and commended the former aspirant for taking the decision ahead of next year’s poll.
Jandor, meanwhile, assured all willing members of other political parties that the PDP doors were widely open as soon as they decide to join the winning party in Lagos.
According to him, Lagos PDP is large enough to accommodate all like-minds across party lines who have seen the beacon of hope in the PDP and are ready to join efforts with him to offer residents of Lagos a breath of fresh air.
Earlier, the APC former chieftain Allahu Barki, disclosed that majority of the eligible voters in his constituency have indicated their readiness to vote for PDP to put an end to the total neglect and absence of government in the area.
The former aspirant has also promised to facilitate the defection of more political heavyweights in the APC across the state into the PDP.
SEUN: Alright, maybe i should stop talking about what Atiku said and go into other topics but before i do that, i will like to ask you this question. Atiku said you didn't inform him when you left the PDP, is that true?
OBI: Yes, it is true.
SEUN: Why didn't you inform him? As his former running mate, many expected you to inform your former boss before taking that decision.
OBI: You see Seun,. A time will come in a man's life, where he will decide to take a very Strong decision about his life and his people, without informing those who are likely to tell him not to take such decision. I have so many important people in my life that i didn't tell that i was going to leave PDP, i didn't even tell my family at that time.. i took that decision because it is the best thing to do and i didn't want anybody to distract me.

He said Muslims should collect everything tinubu is sharing or giving people - money, houses or wives - but no one should vote for him. That may God destroy the finger 'you're planning to use' on voting him. That they should stay away from him because he's not truthful. That their suffering is enough.
I still don't care if Tinubu picks Shettima. One thing which is obvious is that APC calculations this time will fail woefully. The North won't gamble Atiku for someone who's not accessible to them. Know this and have peace.
Many people in the North don’t see Tinubu as a Muslim. This is why he is trying to prove to them they can trust him by picking him a Muslim VP. And the real reason he wants to ignore the accepted norm of balancing a joint ticket with a Christian.
