CrazyMan: Ok...follow the steps below, and I can assure you that you won't encounter problems in writing your letter...

Good luck.

1) Your Address
This should be written in the top right-hand corner of the letter.

2) The Address of the company (your school) you are writing to.

The inside address should be written on the left, starting below your address.

3) Date:

Different people put the date on different sides of the page. You can write this on the right or the left on the line after the address you are writing to. Write the month as a word.

4) Salutation or greeting:

Dear Sir or Madam,
If you do not know the name of the person you are writing to.

5) Ending a letter:

1) Yours faithfully

2) Your signature
Sign your name, then print it underneath the signature.

CrazyMan: This is serious...so with all the technology in this generation, you want me to believe that you cannot write a formal letter, and to make matters worse, you're even a graduate. Lord have mercy.

CrazyMan: There are only three grounds by which your application for re-deployment would be considered...they include.

Health: You're expected to report to the camp you are posted to with a valid medical report. Consideration would be given to those who present medical report from a general state, federal or military hospital.

You're to fill the report stating your ailment with reasons why you need to visit your physician regularly in your state of resident.

If possible, you can go with the prescribed drugs you use for such ailment.

You're expected to begin this procedure in your first or second week in camp.

Another reason is on marital grounds. This option is strictly for the ladies...you would be asked to present your marriage certificate and any other relevant documents.

The final reason is on security grounds: Usually when there are signs of insecurity in any state, the NYSC board would grant affected corpers the option of redeploying to any state of their choice.


The disadvantage is that if you begin your application late (like a month or two after you've began your PPA) you're likely to encounter problems in collecting your alawi.TNX man


You won't be denied your alawi if you re-deploy in camp.

solomityo: well to be sincere d place is jst there. So far so good, report reaching me frm my frnds in different local govts is saying tat they r bored cos nothing really to do n jst like "Martowskin" said once u r not used to d language u find it hard to blend. Well frm my own point of view its Ok, cos my ppa is close to d university n i stay where students r living.
On d issue of working ur service, pls if you can WORK IT O but dont work it to a place u dont know anything abt or v no one. But i will still advise u to WORK IT O. Na my stubborn head carry me come here cos my parents wanted to work mine to lag but i smart then(foolish at present) gave them a wrong call up number. So be wise

Martowskin: my broda, d reason I came to OGUN was just cos I want to be close to lagos so as to base in lagos after service.....little did I knw dat all is not as it seems.....I spent my whole life in niger delta, if av worked my service back home, it would av been d best decision cos I will knw my way around, I will even end up not doin d so called service, workin som where else at d end of d year,I com take dischag cert. I understand d people in d south, there is notin like communication, wen u can communicate wit d pipo den u av ur way wit dem, I had d chance of runzing my PPA in camp, but I knw no anywhere in ogun state, den I knw wat av done to my self,if am in DELTA, god purnish me if I no knw where to work my PPA to, I can tell u dat since march av done notin but tryin to learn yoruba so as to be able to communicate, u will agree with me dat learnin dis languge will take me my service year, imagine a skul wen there is over 25teachers, corpers inclusive am d only non-yoruba speaking teacher, its so hard, I can't even ask for favour or ask som1 to watch my back, cos rite in my present he will betray me I won't knw, they will discuss for over 3hrs I can't hear a pin. but if am in delta, I will be doing my own tin, workin som where else and serving dsame time, I understand them and they understand me. Many more I can't explain here bro....NO WHERE LIKE HOME

Victorying: Pls I just want to know how long it takes to process the redeployment. I applied first week of january and I thought the whole thing should be through by now.

Initially posted 2 Gombe (d state capital) den i later redeployed 2 Osun state n was posted to a sec sch in Modakeke....i rli enjoyed ma stay dia dat im even plannin 2 revisit. All thanks 2 OAU, OUI, The Polu Ife, uniosun (ikire) gals....they help made ma stay fun
