Results coming in as at today, has shown that Rauf
Aregbesola is on the verge of being formally
declared as the winner of the governorship
election in Osun that held on Saturday August
9 2014.

Results officially released by INEC
show that that Mr. Aregbesola is leading his
rival, Iyiola Omisore of the People's
Democratic Party (PDP) by at least more than
100,000 votes. we have earlier disclosed that
Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola of the All Progressives
Congress (APC) party was comfortably ahead
based on our monitoring of results from the polling
stations across Osun state.

INEC figures in 30 local government areas show that Aregbesola has scored the highest
votes in the election against Omisore. An INEC official speaking late yesterday night from
Osogbo told us that figures
received from a variety of polling centers
suggest that the incumbent governor will be
officially announced as Saturday election winner in a
matter of a few hours.

The PDP had pulled all the stops in effort to
defeat Mr. Aregbesola and to sustain the
momentum gained by the party when it won
the June governorship election in Ekiti state. Reproduced below are the results collated

HealthUS Missionary Doctor Gradually Get Healed Of Ebola After Administering Zmapp by Niftyrules(op): 10:42am On Aug 07, 2014
On Thursday, Dr. Kent Brantly thought he
was going to die. It was the ninth day since
the American
missionary worker came down sick with
Ebola in Liberia. His condition worsening by
the minute, Brantly called his wife to say goodbye.
Thankfully, the call was premature. Brantly is back on his feet after
receiving a last-ditch, highly experimental
drug. Another American missionary with
Ebola got the same. Brantly’s and Nancy
Writebol’s conditions
significantly improved after receiving the medication, sources said. Brantly was able to
walk into Emory University Hospital in
Atlanta after being evacuated to the United
States last week, and Writebol is expected to
arrive in Atlanta on Tuesday. On July 22, Brantly woke up feeling feverish.
Fearing the worst, Brantly immediately
isolated himself. Writebol’s symptoms
started three days later. A rapid field blood
test confirmed the infection in both of them
after they had become ill with fever, vomiting and diarrhea. It’s believed
Brantly and Writebol, who
worked with the aid organization
Samaritan’s Purse, contracted Ebola from
another health care worker at their hospital
in Liberia, although the official Centers for Disease Control and Prevention case
investigation has yet to be released. The experimental drug, known as ZMapp,
was developed by the biotech firm Mapp
BiopharmBiopharmaceutical Inc., which is
based in San
Diego. The patients were told that the
treatment had never been tried before on a human but had shown promise in small
experiments with monkeys. How the
experimental Ebola serum works. Questions about this new Ebola drug
According to company documents, four
monkeys infected with Ebola survived after
being given the therapy within 24 hours after
infection. Two of four other monkeys that
started therapy within 48 hours after infection also survived. One monkey that
was not treated died within five days of
exposure to the virus. Brantly and Writebol
were aware of the risk
of taking a new, little-understood treatment
and gave informed consent, according to two sources familiar with the care of the
missionary workers. In the monkeys, the
experimental serum had been given within
48 hours of infection. Brantly didn’t receive
it
until he’d been sick for nine days. The medicine is a three-mouse monoclonal
antibody, meaning that mice were exposed
to fragments of the Ebola virus and then the
antibodies generated within the mice’s
blood
were harvested to create the medicine. It works by preventing the virus from entering
and infecting new cells. The Ebola virus
causes viral hemorrhagic
fever, which refers to a group of viruses that
affect multiple organ systems in the body and
are often accompanied by bleeding.

Nairaland General20 Things You Need To Do Before Your 30th Birthday. by Niftyrules(op): 3:49pm On Aug 03, 2014
Below herein are the 20 things you've got to
Know before you clock your thirtieth
birthday.

1. Discover yourself- Greatness is not the
amassing of wealth but the amount of
contribution you've made to life via your self discovery. There is a treasure of Chest in
you, you've got show it. The world doesn't
respect people with grey hair, but men who
had discovered themself. A man who cannot
discover himself, cannot be stable and
consistent in his life.

2. Learn how to solve problem with your
giftings- Before you're thirty, you should
learn how to solve problems correctly. The
presence of a gift is not as important as to
how it works. The Bible in Proverbs 17 Vs 8,
says for as long as man can make good use of this gift of his, it prospers or rather
proffer solution. The treasure in you have
the ability to engage you for life

3. Catch some ideas on how to make money-
Before you clock your thirtieth birthday you
must already have a source through which finance of your day to day needs are been
met. If you're an author or probably an
aspiring book publisher, put up your work
together and show to men that has gone
ahead you in your field to either edit,
proofread or even give to you some professional advice as to how you succeed in
it.
And kindly
NB, you make money out of so
many people's ignorance. No one will ever
pay for what he already knew.

4. Must have known the definition of love- before you clock your pearl Jubilee as often
called. You must have gotten the basic
concept of love and what is embedded in the
word 'love'. Many young people are often
confused as to some love related expressions
for instance when someone walk up to you look straight into your eyes brings up a smile
and suddenly says "I love you". What is love
when somebody say I love you. You cannot
say you love someone you met for the first
time, you can only get attracted to him or her
on the first impression. At thirty you ought to know love is a responsibility, choice to give,
not about exploiting someone else. Love is
worth studying, worth waiting for and if he
or she claims he loves you, he will pass
through the rigors and go through the
African, European or probably Nigerian gradual process of intending couple
familairizing themselves with both family.

5. You must have learnt how to propose-
At
your thirtieth birthday, you should have
learnt or even mastered the art of proposing
to a lady. You should be funny and at the same time pass your main intention across to
the lady. You need not start lecturing or
telling some rooster and bull story. Go
straight to business, get the scales off her
eyes and make her see 'things'

6. You must have read 30 books- As you gradually approach your thirtieth birthday
you must have been able to have at least a
mini library of your own with books. Not just
book there for decoration but books, that you
will read and some that you've read.
Someone once said, "he who does not read is not better than he who cannot read". That is,
what is the difference between you and an
illiterate if you would not read. At thirty at
least, you should have read a minimum of
thirty books. Books that would inspire you,
teach you about life, tailor your lifestyle and teach you on how to be successful in the
general sense. Just going to school is never
enough, your classroom knowledge will not
do it all, but those drops of water in the
books you read makes of you a large body of
water called ocean. Infact you've got to learn, to save (money) for books. Books are meant
to give value to your life, it is another
beautifier you must have come across.

7. Before you're thirty, you should have a
Pastor . At thirty you should be responsible
enough to have a pastor for yourself, preferably your assembly Pastor. Your
Pastor could be compared to as a guiding
angel in whom you can confide in and who
also will impact knowledge into you. Read
Jeremiah 3 vs 15. But note carefully, you
don't choose your Pastor but you discover him. www.niftyrules.

8. Before you're thirty, you should be known
for something. The question tag here is; what
is the worth of your name if mentioned
anywhere. What will folks say about you
each time men pronounce your name in full.
Great men are not known for many things, but they are known for something. Today,
Tiger wood is known for golf playing, Lionel
Messi football, Bill Gate Microsoft, Mike
Adenuga Globacom, William sisters Tennis. I
even wonder how you had mentioned what
they were known for before I did.

9. Before you’re thirty you should have a
Mentor- The famous Benjamin Franklin said,
“tell me and I forget, teach me and I may
remember. Involve me and I learn” You
need some to keep correspondence with, I
mean someone you can relate life with who can easily put you through. A Mentor help
shape your life and put your life in order,
they seem to have got to where you want to
get to. They’re often seen as the pathfinder
of our life. When you stand on the shoulders
of those who have gone farther, you see ahead. NB: don’t be too emotional about
choosing a Mentor, but instead study him/her
and pay attention to his way of life and the
words of his mouth.

10. You must have learnt how to say ‘No’
– At thirty you should have learnt how to
say No, not yes for everything that comes
your way. At this age you shouldn’t be too
emotional about everything, hereby saying;
how will they see me, what will they say etc. What you should must be concerned about is
how will I feel? Never you live on the
feelings of others

11. At thirty you ought to have conquered
Procrastination- Procrastination is often
reffered to as the killer of time. With
procrastination, you will never get anything
done. Someone once said, procrastination is
the lazy man’s apology. Check the poem of the week for more on procrastination.

11. Be free to use your mind- at thirty
you’ve got to use your mind. At thirty If
your life has not been going well, am sorry
you need to check who has been doing your
thinking for you, which connotatively means
you’ve got to be free from the influence of your parent, peers, Tv, desires etc you must
surely live for who you want to be and not
others want you to be.

12. You should have your Bank account –
Before you clock your thirtieth birthday you
need to have a bank account. You shouldn’t
be caught in the ‘hand to mouth
syndrome’ most common with young
people this days. Learn to put together some money together for future use. And if you
really preparing for your life ahead, you
should definitely have more than one bank
account designated properly.

13. Have an Investment – Before you clock
your Pearl Jubilee, you should have a good
investment. A business is not bad neither is
buying of shares which is popularly known
and even the cheapest.

14. Develop a stability of character – Be
taken for who you are, say what you mean,
learn how to keep mute when you’ve got
nothing to say. Learn self control

15. Choose your friends – Decide who you
want to keep around you. Not everyone
around you should be seen as a friend.

16. Learn professional food etiquette- Know
how to position your utensils while dining.
Learn dining etiquette, while eating with
others. Be most courteous while dining with a lady.

17. Define your vision- Before you’re thirty
you should be able to define your vision in
one sentence.

18. Learn how to drive – You ‘ve got to
learn how to drive before you are thirty. At
your thirtieth birthday you shouldnt just start
learning what the clutch, break is used for
19. You should have the financial ability to
feed an extra mouth – Before you’re thirty
you should be capable to feed someone else.
Irregardless of where you stay, what you
earn, you should be able to cater for others
before you’re thirty.

20. And finally, at twenty you should have
decided your Faith. You should at thirty
determined your stance with God. At thirty
you should have confessed the lordship of
Jesus Christ. You should be born again. Know
how to love God, be engage in kingdom service. He’s your help in times of distress,
give it all to him.
