I've always challenged all these Oshogbo street urchins that are bent on defacing Aba online to post the Skyline part of Aba so that we will all see how underdeveloped it is. Instead they post gutters, unchecked dustbins and abandoned federal roads.
They will never show you this Aba

Concentrate on other things like pictures and videos or investments and leave the statistics aspect. You're not correct on the statistics you're stating so just forget it. I know Aba very well and Muslims in that city can't be anywhere close to 3%, even the Jewish adherents can't be more than 2%. Aba has just two mosques and maybe same with Jewish synagogue but has thousands of churches.
No problem
Although the stat where are made available by the state government through NPC Aba Town Hall (you can go and check its available for public viewing), but what do I know
I don't reside here
So maybe you guys know more better than me

Also thanks for appreciating my thread
Also help me with more pictures if you have

MadamExcellency:
Stop writing nonsense. How on Earth is one in every ten people in Aba a Muslim?

If there is one Mosque of 1000 congregants then you will see equivalent of 200 Churches of same number of congregants.

How is this 10%?

The real number is 0.001%
You might be right
But I don't think you know more than those people working in ( NPC) ABA town hall
You can equally visit there and query them,
Am not really from there, but the also gave there statics that Muslim make's up 43% of those migrating to the city in recent times.

Ahia Good morning market:
During the first miltary leadership of president buharia
He was scheduled to visit the enyimba stadium near Ahia ohuru market in Aba, so the then
adminstration incharge of Aba, decided to relocate traders around enyimba stadium,
And the only space available was the boundary town between Ndegoro main town and the Emelogu town in Ogbor hill (been separated by the ABA River),
Which was a thick Forest and swamp area, the traders registered against the plan, due to distance, and topography of the area as of then.
The market was then called
" Buharia market," cos the relocation idea was convinced in other to welcome the miltary head of state (buharia)
And also the word "buharia" in Igbo means to relocate, or change.
As of then the market was just a shadow of itself, cos of low patronage, so miltary actions where taking against the traders around enyimba stadium axis (which was an encroachment of Ahia ohuru) and the name " Ahia Good morning " sharply replaced the former buharia market
Due to the busy nature of the market during morning hours (when the police and military men are always on ground daily chasing people out in enyimba stadium axis), once the soliders are out (during noon) the traders will sharply transport all there goods, back to there normal shop and locations around the roads surrounding enyimba stadium, hence the market then was regarded as a morning market cos you won't see anyone there once the morning season is over,
This continued even when the force men where no longer coming,
During the leadership of doctor Orji uzo kalu in Aba, the market receive it first boom as the "Orji uzo bridge" was constructed to join the outskirts of Ndegoro to ogbor Hill (as the waterside bridge connecting Aba to ogbor Hill suffers heavy gridlock), and that was how the forest, swamp area was easily converted to a normal daily market (no longer only morning market), as people from the other part of Ogbor hill (Emelogu town) can easily come and buy.
The hausas are the dominate group there due to the fact that during the years where the market was rejected by the traders around enyimba Axis, the hausa communites relocate without going back to there previous shops in enyimba stadium, and expanded massively before the major boom of the market (as shops where relatively cheap around there then).
In 2015 the Aba York (hundreds of thousands of youth whose brain has been damaged by hard drugs living around the Aba York (Area with a lot of abandoned houses) where the recurit more young fellows into stealing, robbery and pick pocketing) was then relocated to another area near ahia good morning and the Aba British York converted to present day "ochendo Park" hence the then governor built more shops in Ahia Good morning and tried renaming the market to "Ochendo modern market" which was largely rejected by the market traders.
Till date the hausa population keeps expanding
And the swamp area keep turning into large market

Festival:
Different festival happens in Aba
And just like every other part of Igboland new yam festival is also being celebrated
But since colonial times every 25th
Of December
The etche and opobo people with other Rivers State communites
Having a large population (around pepples road Rivers layout waterside Aba)
Often celebrate a ground shaking festival called " Nwaotamu" where the all March from rivers layout to other part of Aba and at the end of the day settle in a particular field,
Which was letter called Etche field
And the adjoining road know as Etche road
Hence a mini like stadium has been constructed to aid the event.
Another popular festival in ndegoro Maintown
Is mostly done by the Abiribas (particular set of people from Abiriba communites in Northern Abia state)
Every two years, where the March around the Eastern axis of Ndegoro celebrating what the call afor ukwu, which will be well celebrated at the year end in there Homeland
PoliticsRe: few pictures and All about ABA ( The Great Enyimba City) by Nigercity(op):
The Demarketing of Abia started in 2014

When a political party (APGA) felt that PDP has had enough in ABIA, and has not really done upto the expectations of the masses, (which was actually true)

So the went ahead using all medium of propaganda to kick the PDP out, including taking shots from different angles of port Harcourt road, Ngwa roads and other federal and state roads not in good shape and littering the whole internet space with it, up till now the pictures are being recycled by various people with imported pictures of bad roads from other Nigeria cities added to it, and the cycle keeps going.

And as we already know the average Abians are not really interested in social media, poltics and so, all the do it's business and nothing but business...

But through be told

The state is not really bad

As the internet paints it

A visit will equally convince anyone
As Aba has more bad roads on internet than in real life

We like to talk about
Markets in Aba
But the list is endless as very Town in Aba has it own defined market
Hence Aba has more markets
That even people living in Aba don't Know all the markets in Aba.
Maybe I will create a special thread for Aba markets
Or I might discuss it later

Ohabiam: an overcrowded Town utter most southern part of Aba crossing two L.G.A (Aba south and ugwunagbo, l.G.A ) which Houses the big orie ohabiam electronics market at the express road of Aba-port Harcourt road which was built at the peak of st Michaels computer village in Aba to decongest it,

Ariaria:
Is a town few killo meters to the city of Aba, which became famous after the construction of the first phase of the Ariaria international market in 1976 , containing 20,000 shops which has currently expanded to over 120,000 registered shops and hundreds of thousand of road side shops, the market was set to replace the Ekeoha market in Aba after series of fire outbreak but unfortunately both the letter and formal are currently over crowded,
As Ariaria is even more famous outside Aba than in Aba (cos many people living in aba have various market around them, going to Ariaria seems like a waste of time copped with traffic and distance) hence the market is largely patronized by foreigners from all west African countries, as some part of the international market lies along the Enugu-port Harcourt express way stretching down to faulks road in osusu community Aba.

Osisioma: this is the biggest city in Aba in terms of landmass.
It's also the local government headquarters of osisioma l.G.A , hence the town of osisioma is the only place called osisioma in Aba, other towns under osisioma l.G.A answers there individual names.
Osisioma houses one if the biggest industrial layouts in Nigeria, which have has started encroaching the Enugu-port Harcourt express way. It's also the proposed site for Absu faculty of engineering, Aba poly perm site, E.t.c with a lot of private housing scheme ongoing,
Osisioma habours the Ekeapara main market, it also has a major main park (osisioma main park) along Enugu-port Harcourt express way.
It's just a 35mins drive from the city of Aba, 20 mins drive from Ariaria Town and just a stone throw from the other side of umugasi.

Alaoji: the are 2 Town answering Alaoji in Aba
One in Ogbor hill (15mins drive to Ehere town), while the main popular Alaoji is in near the ukwa (Ndoki and ASA) communites of ASA nnetu, it's spans across Aba south, and ugwunagbo l.G.A respectively with two major express road crossing the town(the Aba - Port Harcourt express way and the Enugu-port Harcourt express way).
It houses the Alaoji international spare parts market which has total encroached ASA nnetu, hence creating ASA nnetu auto spare parts market. Its one of the major town you see, when entering Aba from pH, after obehie.

Uratta: this is one the fastest infamous growing town in ABA, it's houses the 3 biggest mosque in Aba, and the biggest onions market in southern Nigeria.
Know as " Arrewa onions market" which was built on vast acres of land, there most onions that goes to Rivers,Akwa-ibom, imo e.t.c must surely be repacked by the hausa communites in uratta before distributing it to different parts of ss/SE Nigeria.
Uratta has a high number of hausa/Fulani with a handful of Nigeriens and chadians all over it,
The market keep expanding since after construction by the then Abia governor (orji uzo kalu) who also built the biggest cattle market in southern Nigeria in Abia,
The two Making ends at the busy enugu - Port Harcourt express way.

Owerre Aba: is a town in ugwunagbo l.G.A
Note: owerre Aba has nothing to do with ABA-owerri express road,
Nor owerri in IMO state, (as misinterpreted by those living,in other part of Aba)
It's just a separate town
An Ngwa town just like owerrinta in Isiala-ngwa,
Owerre Aba servers as a boundary for the oil producing communites in Aba and there ngwa brothers, it can be acces from the Ahia ihe orji (ihe orji market) in ohanku and the infamous Nkwo Ngwa timber market in obiohia respectively.(it's the only town in Aba, where okada is fully accepted in all part of the town)

Obikabia: it's a starlight Town near ogbor Hill and the fastest growing Town in Obingwa.
Some often called it obi nke Abia
(Meaning the heart of Abia)
It's also the gate of Aba when coming from the old road of umuahia.

Others very popular towns in Aba are the popular , obiohia, ohanku e.t.c whose pictures are littered all over the internet space due to it slum kind nature.
With other greeny upcoming towns like umode, umojima, umugo and the overcrowded umule are still booming and vibrant
