The SP wouldn't like to appoint people only from his state, he would go to other catchment areas that shares ties with his state, which includes Abia, cross River, imo,ebonyi, and to some extent rivers state (it's the same thing even while seeking admission to a federal university, catchment areas are considered)
So those he appointed are naturally from different states but happens to be mostly likely Igbos


Funfact if an awka ibom/ cross River man becomes president today he would likely appoint more people from Abia/imo/ebonyi far
More than he would appoint those from rivers ,Bayesla, Enugu or Edo

Although awka ibom would have been better if ikot ekpene was the state capital, it would have used the advantage of being closer to Aba and umuahia and drive industrialization and commerce to the state,
It's bad that as big and beautiful as awka ibom, there are only few industries thereby always forcing there young people to relocate to ABA,port Harcourt and Lagos why the once at home becomes tools for politicans

The state government should focus more on the industrialization of the state, and also hand over the industry to private firms to run
Because in Nigeria here government has no business running an industry,
