So also our developers can show case their apps on the market for sale and earn something for their hard work. Android is definitely on the way to emerging taking over the mobile scene completely. I dont think apple will be going this way though as they still believe in making their commodity scare for premium value. But hey, i aint mad at apple (iphone) as android has just blown me away with this support for nigeria. i am sold completely.

No Nigerian carrier carries the iPhone officially. The moment MTN et al start offering the iPhone, the AppStore will become available.
But that's a strange idea though cos the iPod touch and iPad can run all those apps and they aren't tied to contracts.

I need help!
I was tryn to charge my SGS after the battery went flat while making a call and it refused to boot. It shows the Make and model screen and then the SGS animation screen then the screen goes blank while the phone is still on. It vibrates intermittently, like its tryn to boot but cant. Any help will be appreciated. tnx.

@extonimarie, are you running a custom rom? if so. which one? for you to be experiencing that loop during boot means you will have to odin back to stock rom. then you can flash back whatever rom you were runnning before the problem. this as happened to me before while flashing a non compatable boot animation and that was how i solved it. once you can get into download mode with the 3 button combo, u aint got nothing to fear.

OK, I just googled Affordables. The Desire HD is currently 68k. Just wondering cos I saw that phone at Dubai Duty Free about 3 weeks ago and it was going for $777.  On amazon.com, it goes for $514 while on amazon.co.uk, its 390 pounds.

So does Affordables sell brand new phones with warranty or are these used phones? The price seems rather too good to be true.
