@OP

Yes. Good question.

I will NEVER VOTE for GEJ

He is a simple minded parochial sectional/tribal leader. Who prefers to mortgage the future of the entire nation in just to show his people/ section/tribe that he has arrived.

The very first assignment he performed as acting president was to stop the dredging of river Niger, (http://kanoonline.com/smf/index.php?topic=5157.0  ) which contract was awarded by late Yaradua (while yaradua was still on sick bed), and DIVERTED the funds the corrupt Ministry of Niger Delta with a indefensible reason as "to protect the shores of vulnerable communities, and reclaim lands that have been washed away".  All the denials that followed after the man realized the implication of his action (https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-404997.0.html ) only made him look more sectional and incompetent. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-406117.0.htm . According to the contract terms, the capital dredging was to be completed in June 2010, while the maintenance dredging would last another two years. http://allafrica.com/stories/201101050494.html .  To prove that GEJ stopped the project, till today, April 2011, the project is comatose. http://www.leadershipnigeria.com/ns/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=13003:river-niger-dredging-an-open-letter-to-jonathan&catid=38:issues-&Itemid=156

Surprisingly, GEJ is using the project for campaign as his achievement. If Nigerians consider the moral, economic, social and political implications of this singular act of stopping the Dredging of the Niger River, then GEJ should not have the guts to ask for their votes.

In the same vein, GEJ has systematically killed the SEVEN POINT AGENDA, RULE OF LAW, POLITICAL REFORMS, and other good things that his predecessor started. Wherein lays the so called continuity? Corruption, mediocrity, ineptitude, violence etc are the order of the day, while GEJ goes about as if all is well.

Will post point no 2 shortly.
Re: Why You'll Never Vote For Goodluck Jonathan? by jaybee(f): 6:33pm On Apr 07, 2011
@ OP Seun

My second point

GEJ is a sectional, narrow-minded, incompetent leader!

His public utterances during the October 1 bomb blast proves him so. without any investigation, GEJ absolved MEND (which had earlier warned, and later claimed responsibility after the blasts), of the heinous crime. He went on to chase his perceived enemies, mentioning names, thereby interfering with security agents’ investigations. Nothing can come out of any investigations in respect of the October 1 bomb blast since the C-in-C has made a public statement on who is responsible and who is not.

Again on 31st December 2010, there was bomb blast at the mammy market of Sani Abach barracks in Abuja. Our Dear GEJ, having not learnt any lesson from his spontaneous defense of MEND on the October 1 bomb blast, hastily associated the mammy market blast with Boko Haram. That portrays the president as consistently inept and poor administrator. He does not investigate things before opening his mouth.

There are countless occasions where the president just make unguarded and embarrassing statements. He doesn’t understand the gravity of his office and hence can not differentiate it with his personal parochial sentiments.

I can’t vote for such to be president.

See my next post for point no. 3

Because 12 years of PDP with him as a willing collaborator has turned our children to this. Children learn how to operate generators from their mothers womb

I had the same problem when I returned home for my annual vacation last year. My 18 months old daughter took off, screaming and crying when we turned on the generator the night we arrived home. It took us almost a full minute before we realized why she was so hysteric. Even her brothers who were born in 9ja could not understand why there should be darkness in the whole area at night.

12 years is long enough to start to benefit from the dividends of democracy and PDP has refused to deliver.

I am not from Libya, so I will not wait for 42 years. I need to see Nigeria turn around for the better now

I was just thinking about the way he speaks, the logic and gravitas is just way above the cretin we call President.

I have always told you people on NL that I am very good at judging people based on just a few utterances.

Just the way I am proficient at spotting fucktards after hearing them speak for a while is the way I spot smart people after hearing them Speak for a while.

The Chris Christie I told you guys about is the guy everyone is saying the Republicans might be putting forward in 2016. The guy is just in a class of his own.

He is way too smart and has gusto. A real leader, not the wussies we see in politics that want to swing wherever the public wind of opinion blows them. He knows what is right and what is wrong and he is willing to stand by right and tell whoever is not happy to go fck him/herself.

Here is this guy attacking his OWN PARTY in the middle of partisan bricksmanship. GUSTO! A MAN! A REAL LEADER! Not a person like the Retardeen Jonathan Nigerians voted for.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSI7aZjqeHY

And one other thing I like about him is that he suffers no fooools, including moronic questions from journalists! He is not there to be diplomatic to fooools. He shuts them up! Just like me, he is irritated by idiocy and very focused on getting the job done.

This one of his summarises how I would be as a politician. Pure class! Stands out and is himself. Not like the majority person politicians in the West.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWxZolY4iLU

His strength is that he is very blunt, objective, thoughtful and logical, so he is blessed with immense clarity of thought that is almost impossible to fault and can shut people up.

agabaI23:
Buhari will fit that description more. Gra no be competence

Any proof of him turning the country into Afghan. I think it was the desperate politician who wants to oust him that perpetrated the bomb blasts

>80% CPC stalwart were members of that cult, Ruma comes to mind

If he did not play cool and plunged the country into tumoil, you would have claimed he was desperate to take over

Ruma, Abacha, Marwa and Sule Hamman an exconvict now heading his campaign organisation easily come to mind

That is so true: Buhari: Abacha, Buhari:Ruma and Buhari: Sule Hamman(a man he jailed for massive corruption in the 80s)

I understand your pain but you have always loved Buhari grin

And one who told his followers not vote for a Christian and supported national introduction of Sharia law

Woud you shut up your mouth and allow Nigerians to show us how they will vote in 2015? The subject of this thread is clear enough - why you will never vote for Jonathan?

If you will vote for Jonatha, your opinion is not needed because we already know why you will vote for him - tribalism, religious bigotry, nepotism and every other wrong reason.
