I think the point of the trend is Africans or Black Africans in this case wearing their Natural hair irregardless of hair texture, you can be very black with uncoarse hair a good example is these Northern Sudanese women who is as black as a yoruba Nigerian, but with wavy to straight hair. Yet do you deny these are black people? because i realize complexion or color is very important to you

caucasian hair is different from afro hair.

i'm referring to the point of the thread itself.

afro hair care would be different from care of straight hair, for instance.

usually afro is the hair type associated with black women.

not everyone likes perming the hair to straighten it out and besides we occasionally need to remind ourselves what our natural hair is supposed to look like.

and it isnt always a crime to be black and negro, you know. So stop feeling so defensive if people are discussing issues you personally cant relate with.
