Peter Obi this, Peter Obi that. Is Obi the reason why you are a minister? Is Obi dragging any position with you? Are you running for the position of President like Obi and Tinubu? If there's going to be any debate, it should be between Peter Obi and President Tinubu.

Obi's assessment of the Tinubu administration is accurate and clear for these reasons.
1. All Nigerians are feeling and seeing the effect of Tinubu's rulership, so we don't need to argue about it. We all transport ourselves, buy fuel, buy garri, rice, gas etc. We use power, look for employment, pass the roads and feel the work of kidnappers and terrorists
2. This assessment is not based only on personal observations but in addition to our national statistics and international agencies' indices
3. This is not a political attack but a call to nation building and problem fixing
4. A critic that offers me genuine advice is a well meaning person who wants me to succeed. All I need to do is to consider the merits of his propositions and apply those I believe in the are 'sensible' and discard others. There's no need to use political jobbers, hangers on and paid social media rats to fight the well-meaning contributor to national development.

This continuous disruption of certain markets should stop. Some have no choice than begin to read meanings to the closures; that it is politically motivated to punish those who didn't vote for them in the last election and to punish some non indigenes.

The Trade Fair that I know is one of the cleanest markets in Lagos State. If Alaba, Trade Fair and Aspamda are dirty, imagine the term you will use for Alayabiagba, Mushin, Jankara, Agege, Ile Epo, Oshodi, Odo-eran, Abbatoir and other perennially dirty markets. They will never close those ones. But then, APC government of Lagos have their eyes fixated on some markets for political and revenue purposes. Instead of closing entire markets, why not go after sanitation offenders. It makes no sense closing my street just because there are some sanitation offenders there. That is collective punishment. In which part of the civilized world do they do things this way?
