FIRDAUS3:Another reason why many South Easterners are aspiring for Biafra. Indeed sales promotion for Ipob recruitment! |
istina:I love your analysis bro |
wiseoneking:Good point. The more they exclude the Igboman the more he finds space outside Nigeria, and the more Nigeria as a country goes down. We all are the ultimate losers |
zigzagluv:The IGR you brag about results from the imbalance in allocating national resources and infrastructural development. Every government that comes will only remember projects in the South West and those in the North West. Is it power projects, is it railway projects, is it industries, is it ports or is it roads and bridges? After deliberately neglecting and excluding the "South South" and South East, you come back to talk about IGR. Those who have political power determine where resources will be allocated and investments and taxes follow these resources naturally. For a change make the ports in the "South South" work let us see where more shipments will pass through for instance |
wpadmin:The only sensible comment I have read here. Through successful coup d'etats and military rulers, Hausa-Fulani have been able to balkanize Nigeria in their favor, creating new zones, new states and many more local government areas that give them advantage in any electoral process. As it is now, there is little any South Easterner can do as far as national elections are concerned. I am surprised that many do not see how the anomaly in our polity came about. To create a level playing ground, Nigeria has to revert to the regions as a basis for sharing resources and political power. In the alternative, the country has to be restructured in a way that balance zones in the North with those in the South or by using the old TRIPOD upon which the nation hitherto stood. If we don't make this ammendment in time, we have to brace up for more ethnic fights and breakaway struggles. In the 1960s Nigeria worked better for all, produced more, regions positively competed better to achieve overall results and there was less struggle at the center. If we continue like this, with this skewed federation that gives advantage to the Hausa-Fulani there will be no peace. Ask yourself, how many local government areas did Kano, Lagos and Rivers have in 1970? Now how many states and local governments have been carved out of the three states for instance by the last military state creator. Crosscheck with the remaining states and local governments and will see where the cheating started. Here lies the problem with Nigeria. Here lies the foundation of the Nigerian factor! |
Hamzaaaaaaaa:I expect more far reaching pressure to be ramped up against Sokoto State |
Kriss216:Yahaya just made a political statement. When the political wind blows him to another side, he will start singing a different song! |
SmartProf:My relative's case was worse than this. We started with a "good hospital" (LASUTH precisely), and for nearly one month, they sending us to this tes and that test. I begged and begged that they should pay attention to the festering wound and the "doctors" refused, claiming they were yet to get the full idea of what they were treating. The only test that made sense was the swab test to identify the pathogens involved. And there were four. But all the other tests were useless, eg the doppler test to know if blood was flowing to the area. That test cost us 40k. They did the blood sugar test twice and there was no diabetes. The disease was new to us Thank God we eventually took the right decision by getting a "native doctor"/herbalist who paid attention to the wound and succeeded in curing it after 3 months. The Doctors called it Cellulitis whatever. Thank God we overcame but the back and forth between orthodox medicine and the traditional medicine cost us so much |
This is getting interesting |
aminulive:Leave all these sensationalism. When the matter is presented before a competent judge now, the case will fall like a pack of cards. They won't be able to prove anything. But they will rush to the press without doing their homework and without gathering provable evidence. Una go dey here see am! |
GreyLaw:Read your Bible at Mathew 19:9. He said there is only one reason why you can divorce your marriage partner - sexual immorality (having sex with persons you are not married to) |
phemmyfour:You spoke well but you left out the ONLY EXCEPTION to the "no divorce rule" which is given in the next verse (Mt 19:9). Jesus said, "I say to you, that whoever divorces his wife (or husband) EXCEPT on the grounds of sexual immorality, and marries another commits adultery." What this simply means is that if your husband commits adultery or fornication, you may divorce him if you choose to. You can also forgive him if you wish and you have done no wrong. But then, you cannot divorce your mate based on" irreconcilable differences" as so many people do. Rather, you can separate from your husband if he is violent and abusive, if he deliberately refuses to provide for you and your children (1 Timothy 5 vs 8,, ), and in a few other cases. When you separate, there is a chance in reconciliation and reunitification or permanently remaining unmarried. |
[quote author=WATCHOVER post=111649866]Unfortunately Zelensky is deceiving you people, God will punish United States and UK, even Zelensky for allowing this nonsense to happen I don't know how some people reason. It is even generous to say that you are reasoning from your anus! So God will bypass Putin, the aggressor who entered another people's land by force and started butchering women and children, and punish Zelensky, US and UK for what? Your sanity needs to be examined. Tomorrow, you will be complaining about Boko Haram butchering Nigerians. We are keeping the records |
LordIsaac:Some cannot wait to hear about Jehovah's Witnesses belief with regards to blood transfusion before they start spilling their bile against them. In defense of the Witnesses, I want to challenge the OP to carry out a survey or research to find out the following : 1. Do Jehovah's Witnesses sign a power of attorney to indicate their stand regarding blood transfusion and do they have the legal rights to do so? 2. Of all the number of patients that accept blood transfusion, do all of them survive? What percentage of them survive and what percentage die 3. Of all the Jehovah's Witnesses that refuse blood transfusion, what percentage survive and what percentage die? 4. Of all those that take blood, what percentage come home with HIV/Aids or Hepatitis B a few years after the blood transfusion? 5. Of all the blood being sold for transfusion (and some of us know how blood is sourced in emergency rooms in government hospitals), what percentage is screened and what percentage actually proves that there are no pathogens in the samples? My point is that so many people are dying in our hospitals daily, not just from blood related issues but from numerous easy to treat conditions. Why then should we demonize the Witnesses as if they are responsible for every death in the hospital? Coming to their beliefs, Jehovah’s Witnesses are the only genuine Christians I know. They truly love their God and will go to any length to obey his commands. If you were tested by God to kill your only son would you have attempted it? Today many of you call Abraham the father of faith but how did he get the faith? If you were there when Jesus told his disciples that they would need to eat his flesh and drink his blood (not literally), would you have been among those to run away or those to pay attention and understand his teaching? |
Amazing images highlighting God's wonderful works! But man is determined to ruin it all. |
Kingsteve:The theories are multi-faceted like the extradition process ![]() |
In a statement made available to POLITICS NIGERIA on Thursday morning signed by media aide, Umar Gwandu, the AGF highlighted on the processes involved in Kyari's extradition; "As you are aware extradition is a process that involves multifaceted components. The components are usually multi-territorial; international, local and judicial." "Submission of request from the concern party to the relevant authorities constitutes one of such components. The Office of the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice received the extradition request in respect of the officer in question." So the AGF knows that extradition involves a lot of processes. How come MNK's "extradition" happened so fast? Or could it be that he was kidnapped? If he was kidnapped, what judicial punishment should be meted out to the kidnappers? Are we to await another case that will involve a "super AGF"? Just wondering |
aribisala0:Thank you jare! Even if he gets 5 years in a US court, he will still come back and serve his time in a Nigerian jail for drug trafficking and extra judicial killing of many Nigerians |
Consequently, the US Embassy requested for Kyari’s extradition saying, “On April 29, 2021, based on the indictment filed by the grand jury and with the approval of the United States District Court for the Central District of California, a deputy clerk of the court issued a warrant of arrest for Kyari. “The arrest warrant remains valid and executable to apprehend Kyari for the crimes with which he is charged in the indictment. “Kyari is wanted to stand trial in the United States for conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering, and identity theft. Imagine an ordinary deputy clerk issuing a warrant to arrest a "super corp" DCP! This is humiliation of the highest order |
Drone95:The articles contained in the electoral bill are fine. But one more issue remains unattended to. And that is the issue of cross carpeting from one party to another. If we are able to restrict such movement by law, our elections will be better |
legallyminded:That's what I was thinking about. Before you guys will start to jubilate, let us carefully check the content of what Baba signed. E no dey hard for polithieftians to do us ojoro and turn back to laugh at our collective amnesia and stupidity. |
Igweokalakwu:Don't dismiss her statement as a mere desire to trend. My former neighbor has a bad experience recently when he discovered to his rude shock that his beloved wife was actually a lesbian but got married to him as a decoy and to ease the pressure and constant qury of 'when are you going to get married'? The former wife who owned a supermarket recruited young girls who passed as her sales girls while the husband worked in a blue chip firm in town. The husband returned home one afternoon and caught the wife red-handed. This is the same sales girl she pleaded with her husband to allow to be sleeping in their home due to threats of abuse where the sales girl was putting up. It dawned on the man that the wife has been cheating him for years as a lesbian. The marriage crashed subsequently. |
thundafire:And the funny thing is that Baba no dey take ear hear say conference, summit, meeting or other events dey happen anywhere. Be rest assured that he must to attend. Whether wetin dem discuss there concern Naija or not! He just dey enjoy gallivanting(?) and globetrotting |
Codebite:If you ask me, I will say that Voodoo exists, Juju exists, Ghosts exist, Witches and Wizards exist too and there are white ones and black ones! The fact that you don't believe they exist does not mean that they don't exist. All these exist because evil exists. Evil spirits exist. Some Ghosts are even holy (like the holy ghost). The father of voodoo and Juju is Satan the Devil. If Satan exists, then his foot soldiers must exist. Demons are his agents. There are human agents too. Otherwise there will be no necromancers, no Juju priests, no rituals, no human and animal sacrifices. There will be no Yahoo plus! |
blessedvisky:Well I need to defend God here. Contrary to your accusations, God has given us so many examples to show that he neither accepts nor tolerates evil and wickedness. Have you never heard of the well-known Bible statement that "judgment will start from the house of God"? Did you not read how God punished King David over Bath-sheba despite David's repentance? Did you not read about Korah, Dathan, Abiram who tried to usurp Moses' God given authority, claiming that God was also with them; and what God did to them? |
cuba62:Not all coup d'etats are welcome. At times your oppressor do "arrangee" coups to maintain the status quo and retain their evil hegemony. Good coups hardly succeed |
Odetokun3:While we dey think one side, make we also reason on other possibilities . The young may just be practicing bungee jumping. No be everybody wey jump inside the shallow waters of Lagos creeks is committing suicide. Na like this future Olympic Champions dey practice for Africa. Some of those fishermen and loggers at Ebute Metta waterside can do a lot of things on water. Now if you say he committed suicide, has his body been recovered? Is anyone searching for him? Did he sink when he landed or did he swim? |
gidgiddy:Generally speaking, the way Nigerians use high sounding adjectives to qualify mediocre projects is very appalling: ultra-modern, intercontinental, super, mega etc. Just like this one, a mere aggregation of ordinary lockup shops! |
For some countries, their oil is a blessing. For Nigeria, "oyel" is a curse! |
West2019:175 years? If the sentences do not run concurrently, it means he will serve out his term in the grave How about Maina, the Fulani pension thief, who wrecked the lives of millions of elderly Nigerians? How many years did he get? |
May be pastor is his nick name cos this one doesn't look like a pastor. With this black lip? You are looking at the vintage Pastor Devil, life |
jesusjnr2020:Thank God that this woman's conscience touched her to come out to confess. There are many out there being used by false religious leaders to propagate "lies from the pit of hell". But God is exposing them one by one. The teaching of hell fire is one of the greatest lies many church goers tell against God, with the hope of frightening unwary believers. It is true that God will destroy the wicked. But the way he has done it in the past and the way he will do it in future is for only Christians who pay attention to details as well as using their reasoning abilities to understand |
