Huawei has announced a new mid-ranger dubbed Huawei Y9s, which is actually a rebranded Honor 9X Pro powered by the Kirin 710F SoC instead of Kirin 810.

The Huawei Y9s is built around a 6.59″ notch-less display which promises a screen-to-body ratio of 91%. It has a 1080p resolution and a pixel density of 391 ppi.

Under the hood, the Y9s has a Kirin 710F SoC coupled with 6GB RAM. The smartphone runs Android Pie-based EMUI 9.1 out of the box and comes with 128GB of storage, which is expandable up to 512GB via microSD card.

For photography, the Y9s has a 16MP selfie camera mounted on a pop-up mechanism, and a triple camera setup on the back comprising of a 48MP main, 8MP ultrawide and 2MP depth sensor modules.

The Y9s features a side-mounted fingerprint reader which is embedded in the power button located on the right side below the volume rocker. The smartphone comes in Midnight Black and Breathing Crystal colors and packs a 4,000 mAh battery which draws power through a USB-C port.

Demi Lovato’s alleged nudes have been leaked after her Snapchat account was hacked. The 27-year-old was the target of a hacking overnight, with a group taking over her official Snapchat account @ddlovato.

A message reading ‘Join this discord server for my nudes’ with a swipe-up link was added to her snaps, before an image of a naked brunette, purported to be the Sorry Not Sorry singer, was shown.
Another post directed people to an account believed to belong to the hacker. The messages have been removed from Demi’s Snapchat, with The Blast reporting that the star’s team has been working on getting the images removed from online forums.

The website claims that the hackers taking responsibility are the same group that recently took over Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s account, and that were linked to an alleged photo leak of Chloe Grace Moretz. Demi has been having a tough time.

Gunmen have struck again in Kaduna state, killing one and kidnapping a headmaster and others in the state.

Punch Metro reports that some bandits suspected to kidnappers have abducted five persons, including a school headteacher and killing one person in two separate attacks on villages in Birnin-Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna state.

It was gathered that the bandits attacked Doka Village along Funtua Road on Wednesday afternoon, killing one person(fuel attendant) on the spot while injuring two others and abducted two persons.

As of the time of filing this report, the police in Kaduna had yet to confirm the latest attacks but the Chairman of Birnin Gwari Vanguards, Ibrahim Nagwari, stated this on Thursday.

He said the headteacher of Dangamji Primary School, AbdulHafiz Abdullahi, was also abducted by the gunmen.

According to him, the bandits also injured three members of a local vigilante group, kidnapping many travellers from their vehicles in another attack around Polwaya and Gayam villages about 5pm on Wednesday.

According to SaharaReporters, the Nigerian police have tendered additional CCTV footage of the alleged assault by Senator Elisha Abbo on a nursing woman in a intimacy gadget shop before a Zuba magistrate's court in Abuja.

At the resumed hearing of the case on Thursday the prosecution counsel, James Idachaba, who had opened his case at the last adjourned date told the court that they stumbled on additional proof of evidence of the closed-circuit television that captured the incident.

The second prosecution witness, investigation police officer, who was in court to testify in the case could do not do so as defence counsel Adegbite Adeniyi made an application for the adjournment of the case.

Adeniyi argued that he would need to apply for more time to enable him to watch the content of the video as he was just served in the court.

He said, "The law gives us the right to be given time to go through such proof of evidence before the case can continue."

The defence counsel said his client was ready for defence but the additional evidence had hindered their preparation.

The prosecution counsel did not object to the application for adjournment by the defence. He said it was their right to ask for time to study the electronically generated evidence in line with the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA).

The presiding magistrate, Abdullahi Ilellah, therefore, adjourned the case until 19 November.

Abbo, representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, is a Peoples Democratic Party's legislator.

He admitted on July 3 that he was the one in the video and apologized to the woman assaulted.

He was charged on July 8 for criminal force and assault which is contrary to section 263 and 264 of penal code law.

In the longer term, this could mean moving into the third dimension of travel,” said Detlev von Platen, member of the executive board for sales and marketing at Porsche, in a statement. “We are combining the strengths of two leading global companies to address a potential key market segment of the future.”

“This collaboration builds on our efforts to develop a safe and efficient new mobility ecosystem, and provides an opportunity to investigate the development of a premium urban air mobility vehicle with a leading automotive brand,” said Steve Nordlund, vice president and general manager of Boeing Next.

Porsche A 2018 study by Porsche Consulting forecasts that the urban air mobility will pick up after 2025, while a recent Deloitte study forecasts the size of the passenger eVTOL market (excluding cargo and other commercial uses) will reach $17.7 billion (Dh65bn) by 2040. The report predicts that prototypes will be tested and commercialised between 2020 and 2025, mainly in the field of cargo transportation.

Sony has now announced a system software update coming to the console this week which will add key system features such as Party and Remote Play.

On the PlayStation 4, Party lets you play with friends or create a community. With the update, more features have been added and the number of players in Part has been increased. New features include:

The update also brings improved network connectivity and audio quality to Party. Emphasizing on it, Sony said, “The new feature supports US English and converts party voice chat to text, or enables you to enter text that is read aloud to other party members. If using your mobile device to connect to your PS4 during a Party, you will now see a new Party tab has been added where the new functionality is available.”

Remote Play just got bigger and can now be used on Android devices running Android 5.0 or higher. This allows you stream select PS4 games on your Android devices with the Remote Play App which can be downloaded from the Google Play store.

For iPhone and iPad users, Remote Play now lets you display controller at all times and maintain the screen orientation.

A new feature has also been added for Remote Play which adds the functionality of the DualShock 4 wireless controllers via Bluetooth on Android, iPhone, the iPad and Mac. To enable the DualShock 4 you have to update to Android 10, iOS13, iPadOS 13 or macOS Catalina. Which is scheduled to be released this month by Apple.

Sony points out a PS4 system with a wired connection via a LAN cable is preferable.

If you’re seriously considering buying a feature phone like the Nokia 2720 Flip in 2019 then I think you’re likely to be one of three kinds of people. Either you live or work in the developing world, where smartphones sometimes aren’t a practical option, you’re the kind of person who thrives on nostalgia for a simpler time, or else you’re trying to do a “digital detox,” and decrease the amount of time you seem to waste staring at screens every day.

It’s these latter two groups that HMD has been pitching its retro-styled feature phones at for a couple of years now. Two years ago it produced an updated version of the iconic 3310, and lastest update it remade the 8110, the “banana phone” similar to the model used in the original Matrix movie.

The difference with this year’s £89.99 Nokia 2720 Flip is that, for the first time, it actually has most of the apps and services you need in a phone in 2019. Yes, you’ll be accessing them on an absolutely tiny 2.8-inch display and typing into them with a basic T9 keyboard, but fundamentally you won’t be cut out of your WhatsApp conversations, you won’t have to be without email, and you won’t even have to go without Google Maps. They’re all technically here.

But the thing is, you’d have to have the patience of a saint to actually use these services on a device as limited as this. Maps and emails take forever to load, and WhatsApp messages take an age to manually type out. You might not be fully cut off from the modern world, but the limited hardware these apps are running on means that, for all intents and purposes, you basically are.

It’s a little hard to review a feature phone like the Nokia 2720 Flip, because it’s so obviously not trying to compete with any smartphone on the market. It’s got a tiny screen with a resolution of just 240 x 320, a 2-megapixel camera (there’s no selfie camera), a dual-core 1.1GHz CPU, and just 512MB of internal storage. It can connect to both 4G LTE networks and Wi-Fi, and it’s got Bluetooth for connecting to your wireless headphones.
