Does one need to go the nearest Social Security Office to get your Card or did tick the immigration forms (ds-230) that you earlier sent when you were applied that ---

My advise is for you to renew your passport. Becos your passport should not expire 9 months before you get into the U.S.Anyway u have the following options

1. Renew if it is an e-passport. And staple the old one to the renewed one. Or get a new one if the old one is not an e-passport.

2.You can get your Visa on ur exisiting passport then get it transferred to an the renewed one.that will cost extra.

That is as far as I know.maybe someone else can shed more light.

I am an I.T Professional for many years in Nigeria and I can tell authoritatively that Oracle DBA track is a very lucrative and exciting career path.
Oracle DBAs are amongst the best paid I.T professionals in this country.
But in every field of endeavour one chooses, one needs to be passionate and very good at it.
The generally mistake people make in choose an I.T track to specialise in is that one start looking for a profitable one.
That is a mistake. When deciding what to do, consider the following.

Are you passionate about it ?Because it is passion and interest that puts one apart from their peers.
Can you cope with the long gruelling hours it takes to do the work?
What are the things/Skills I need to do acquire to be the best at this.

Don't worry about money .Once you are good, money will come.
I hope that helps.

I just did my police report and after doing so . I found out that it is valid for three months.
My interview is in a month's time .
So my question is the police report's validity period for the Embassy interview or for the when one arrives at the destination airport i.e U.S.A

but when I logged in I still saw the first notification letter . Nothing changed.

So House what is the process of getting an attestation of Birth from NPC.
Step-by-Step account please. It would not hurt to get one as well.

I believe this issue of birth certificate is really tricky and one should be very clear on it.
I have my original birth certificate from the local government that I was born in and I was born in 19979

Would the U.S embassy accept that? or Would they insist on the National Population Commission attestation.

We need as a house to really know what the U.S embassy actually accepts.

I sent an email to KCC last week to confirm the receipt of my form and got this reply from them.

Thank you for your inquiry.

Your forms have been received and are acceptable for the continuation of your visa processing.

Interviews for the DV 2013 program will begin in October 2012 and conclude on September 30, 2013. KCC cannot provide information as to when an interview date may become available for your case. Appointments are scheduled numerically according to assigned case numbers. The Department of State designates how many interviews will be scheduled each month according to visa availability. After August 15, 2012, you may refer to the visa bulletin at www.travel.state.gov for the list of current numbers being processed. This information is updated on the 15th day of each month thereafter.
