Federal government has turned a deaf ear to ASUP, pretending as if nothing is happening but, something is happening. So, what I'm trying to say here is that, this strike should continue until the Fed. Gov. responds to their needs even if it will take years. Maybe Poly edu. can even be eliminated since FG thinks it is useless.

On Sunday evening 25th March, 2012, the youths of Oko with masquerade attacked a lodge with bottles, axe and matchets murdered or killed one student and leaving several others injured. The Oko people are fond of chasing and flogging students when going and coming back from school which was reported to their traditional ruler (Igwe) but all he can say is that it is their culture that the students should be running away from/avoiding the masquerade. This is crude and rude.

A thread 'fed poly oko 2011/2012 post utme out' which I started in education section was all of sudden deleted. I want to know what I did wrong. I am uncomfortable and angry with this act. I want to communicate with the admin or moderator of education section.

I don't even know that some of us here knew about the manipulation of Peter Obi and his folks in the so called Independent INEC in Anambra state. It is obvious that Peter Obi owned the back door of Anambra state Inec. He rigged himself smartly into that seat in last years election, now he wants to do same for Dora which he did but did not succeed because Ngige and other reasonable Anambrariams knew his deeds and what he intends to do. As for Dr. Dora, any reasonable and truthful Nigerian will understand and see clearly that she is greedy and selfish. She started blocking her chances right from the time of campaigne, she says anything even to the length of using offensive words against her opponent, Loading,

It is an obvious fact about humans, we always want to surpress others, but this leads to stagnancy, and undevelopment. Just follow this thread from the begining and see what they pasted all through, it is quite sad. These are the kind of products we produces yearly from our higher institutions occuppied with discriminations of various types with different types of deadly vernons. Do you think their likes love this nation.
If the Polytechnics education is considered lower than the University then it should be arranged in such a way that one can upgrade from Hnd to Bachelors degree as it is in UK. All these offensive words here on this thread and the action taken by HOS and other kinds of suppression can take us no where. Please my advise to those with Hnd is to do their Pgd and get a Masters degree or travel to UK and get a Bachelors degree under one year.

Toks2008, you are indeed a prosperous forex trader. All you said are real and must be observed but the sad news is that most Nigerian are impatience and are lacking the knowledge. Only the fittest survive but consistency can do the job.

To me their plan is still rubbish and can never take Nigeria anywhere because Our higher education system is not organised and arranged. These three higher institution are left without order (university, polytechnic and college of education), they kept struggling whether you like it or not, they are supposed to be arranged in order of superiority and a way of upgrading from one certificate to another should be introduced wisely. Without this, the Nigerian System of education is still a mess and unarranged. I don't know what our proffessors are doing, may be they are blind, may be they want to trap some nigerians. Once again, there is no improvement if this issue is not treated.

The worst thing ever that can happen to someone is lying to his or her self. As the case with Dora, she is tarnishing her image, destroying it. I am from Anambra central and we are no fools, we all know that Ngige will win you and we voted him in, Chris Ngige is no election rigger rather you! You left your ministering work for senate, you are too ambitious thats why you joined hand with Peter Obi to rig the election. The era of shooting and carrying of ballot box have ended thats why Peter Obi rigged his way to the government house again, but he failed to do it for you because everyone is better enlightened now. Because winning this election was important to you made you to do what ever you can to get there but on the sad side, we voters decides best. You did not learnt from what happened to Soludo.
