as a buyer I will like to have versatility on my phone so I asked why it doesn't have gcam and how then can its camera be superior to that of MI 10 pro? Does it use the same Sony imx686 sensor which is the latest? Since your buddy stated the note 7 camera is better than the MI 10 pro and better in general, can you support that fact with specs comparison side by side?

The worst phone is used got to be Tecno Camon 8.

First, I believe I was just unlucky to get that unit. (The phone wasn't cloned, fake or refurbished though)

As usual na, everything was rosy in the first few days. Three or four days later:

1. This phone, with its original charger took exactly 4 hours to completely charge. Any other charger took 5 or more hours.

2. It was a taboo for the phone to run more than one app at the same time. (This included music players in the background; just forget about uploading pictures to Facebook or any other site using chrome cos the RAM space was never enough to open Chrome browser and Gallery at the same time).

3. In a day, the phone restarted itself at least 4 times. This included when the phone was idle and when I was using it, regardless of whatever I was doing.

4. Hanging, overheating and lagging were the hobbies of the phone.

5. The selfie camera was super bad for a phone that was marketed for its supposed camera prowess.

6. Etc

This f0cking phone frustrated the sh1t out of me I had to sell it off even without the hope of getting a new one soon.

The only good thing was that I got a fair deal. Sold it for 26k on efriitin dot com cos of the hype around it. (The hype that made me choose it over Samsung S4 2/16 duos).

From that moment, I vowed to NEVER use a Tecno phone again.

Mumu me, I didn't know that Tecno, Infinix and Itel were the same piece of trash bearing different names, na so I go buy Itel S something: when I finish crying, I'll write about it.


But thank God, I'm now a Xiaomi Note 8 Pro user. I ported after I was bitten again by Infinix Hot 6x. I no dey learn sha but never again will I look Transsion way.

Unlike those other kids from Transsion, you wrote in a mature and detailed way (i admit that)

but the truth is, exorbitant pricing is not the only offence, they sell their phones at higher prices and at the same time milking you in the sense that, there are no updates available for android version, which means they are indirectly telling you to go and get another device with the latest android when the present phone you have refuses to upgrade.

while pixel binning may be possible (you might be correct) but truth is, if we saying all 48mp sensors supports pixel binning then the helio p22 which support 13 + 8 or the helio p35 which support 13 + 13 (nb check mediatek site for confirmations) cant support pixel binning with the Sony IMX 686 therefore i stand with zesushvwritter

there are myraids of shortcomings from this particular brand like deliberately sticking to outdated chipsets, unwilling to follow trends that influence technology advancments i.e NFC, USB Type C, IR Blasters, and most useful sensors

The thing is it started crashing.

This has been happening since I bought the phone and no update to correct it.

Both the 9c and 9a comes with Helio G35 chips and they are new chips i believe

So i can't clearify their performance (even though we know it would be better than the Helio A22, A25, P22, P23, P35


The pricing (when it eventually gets to the Nigeria market) would determing if it's messed up or great.

it's not everything that has to do with transsion devices, that could easily be caused from a bug on the browser app.

U Think GSMArena did not know what's up, they knows Infinix is likely to lie about the spec but it is not their duty to tell public about it, their duty is to publish the specs the the manufacturer presented to them, why don't they put the same disclaimer for Redmi or other brands like Samsung/Huawei/OPPO/Realme and co.

Each time I'm browsing and I decide to minimize and then return back a few seconds after, the page reloads again. Yeah I know it's normal for a browser page to reload but not less than 20 seconds than you minimized it and return back there

I noticed other apps on my phone do not do that nonsense even if I keep them open for hours, only browsers do that in a few seconds- Chrome, Brave and PHX. I even downloaded UC Mini Browser and it seemed to be different for a few hours until it joined the refresh gang


What manner of annoying web page refresh is this?

Note: Infinix S5 Pro is 6GB and it's super fast. I have only downloaded a few apps in it
