What is most amazing to me is how this vehicle conveying these "hunters" successfully passed hundreds of police and military checkpoints between Port Harcourt and Edo, and the guns and all were never spotted. Does anyone notice that Wike appears to be subtle or indifferent over the removals of Fubara, his deputy and the house of Assembly of Rivers state. I expected him before now to have visited the military administrator of Rivers with his usual grandstyle of avarice and show of power to scorn Fubara, or would have appeared on a live tv as usual boisterous. But this has not happened. I perceive a palpable feeling he is not happy with the president's declaration of SOE in Rivers. Could it be that he was doublecrossed after he was allowed to heat up the polity in Rivers that necessitated the proclamation of SOE. His thinking.....'when my boys impeach Fubara and his deputy my head boy will take over government and I will be in charge'. Could it be that his aim of assumption as a de facto governor of Rivers state has once more met a brick wall. It looks like Lagos Bobo has outsmarted him. A military administrator conventionally must report directly to the president, there is no proxy to this. City boy right now is totally and fully in charge or Rivers state. Anyone that underates Tinubu's political sagacity, uncanny prototype, ruthlessness, doggedness and master plan may be doing so at his own peril. The only choice for the Rivers Hot dog is to tuck his tail in between his legs. He dares not challenge the powers of his employer. He better continues hanging in power as the FCT minister, continues to behave as an obedient dog, and swallow the bitter pills. Any agitation against his boss would definitely set him in political oblivion. City boy is a Lord. He wouldn't want to beg or negotiate with anyone for the soul of Rivers state come 2027. No recalcitrant godfather does that, especially to a power drunk and unpredictable appointee. Those hailing this unconstitutional misfortune in Rivers because their oga in one way or the other worships or fellowships with Wike should be apprehensive. The more you look may be the less you see.
