On this one, I stand with the federal government. You cannot be reaping where you did not sow. That is exactly what the north has been doing for years, collecting the lion share of the VAT on products and services consumed in the south. This is unacceptable and unfair. Period.
Yes, really. What do expect in a jungle governed by a convicted drug lord!
Orissodiq: And na d same set of people will be calling Dia president "Druglord" and dia main business na drug trafficking, robbery, cheating, and forgery🤣 🤣 🤣
Why are we responding to animal talk! I don't join issues with such idiots.
muykem: Presidential media chat has proved that Tinubu is on top of his job and Nigerian will undoubtedly give him second term by 2027 to finish his reform. He is being projected to win all the regions except inconsequential region that will still vote based on emotion.
You did not mention the cost of transporting the garri from the remote village to the city. That is a major factor!
JASONjnr: Garri is supposed to be cheap... But when you go to grind your cassava, they will need diesel or PMS to power the grinder and fuel isn't cheap. So the price of grinding the cassava is tied to the pump price.
Also, buying chemicals and paying labour for weeding and fertilizing your farm is coming with high taxation these days.
But the people producing Garri for their personal consumption will sell it to you at a very cheap rate...
in the contrary, they become more sexually active as they age. In their sixties, women tend to be more sexually active than their male counterparts of the same age. Only cultural or religious values control women of that age!
Elzazzi: Even me I thought women sexual appetite reduces once they get into their late 50s and 60s.
Thank God it was fake and adulterated gas that your neighbour bought. Otherwise, you all would have become toast!
NoFoodToCook: Last Thursday would've been a day I would've become homeless and brought back to POINT ZERO (even clothes I won't have again to wear) even when i'm still trying to build myself.
I live in a face-me-I-Trouble you compound and what usually happens in such compound is not strange to many.
Where my two neighbors cook, it's just a place near the entrance of their room door as there's no private kitchen and their cylinders are not far from each other.
On the said day, while one neighbor had already put on her cylinder, burning actively and cooking, the other came back from refilling her own cylinder.
In the process of the second fixing the burner on her cylinder, the regulator cut and the gas she just refilled was released uncontrollably.
Of course there's a serious panic and they started shouting and running away, including my very self. I was only on boxer in my room when it happened and that was how I ran out with only my phone I was holding at hand.
Due to the panic nobody even thought of putting off the cylinder that was burning. We all ran out and left the area like that.
Guess what?
Even when the released gas covered the entire building, it didn't cash fire from the one that was burning.
Please, who can explain how that was possible?
It was after we didn't hear noise from the cylinder that someone checked back and the other was still burning even when everywhere was smelling gas.
I strongly believed it was God that showed Himself. Otherwise, there would've been an explosion and the entire building would've been on fire.
I returned all the praise to God for the wonder miracle that is beyond what mouth can say.
If what you say is correct, how come T-pain is struggling with this economy? Maybe his thinking faculty is all blocked by hard drugs!
Ofemannnu: But Yorubas are the only economic geniuses because of their antecedents and recent realities. They sre the only people who have businesses older than 100 years and still surviving. They have the highest number of industries and businesses both in Nigeria and abroad. They dominate almost everything financially in Nigeria and as Nigerians abroad. Even during regionalism, they borrowed your ancestors money twice in order for them not to sink. Read the history of the Yorubas and you will know that they are the best administrators ever.
Policemen nabbed for allegedly extorting man of N3 million in Bayelsa
The Nigeria Police Force has arrested several policemen attached to the Zone 16 Command in Yenagoa, Bayelsa for their alleged involvement in a N3 million extortion case. The Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, disclosed this in a statement posted on his official social media account.
Adejobi stated that the policemen in question had been apprehended following an internal investigation and would be transferred to the Force Headquarters (FHQ) in Abuja.
“The policemen involved in this case of extortion of ₦3 million have been arrested. The men are attached to Zone 16 Command in Yenagoa. The command has been asked to produce the men at the FHQ,” Adejobi wrote.
He further emphasized the commitment of the Force Headquarters to cleansing the police system and ensuring justice is served in all cases brought to its attention.
A Nigerian man, Kelechi Isaac, had released a video on social media in which he accused police operatives in Bayelsa State of extorting N3 million from him at gunpoint.
Isaac who hails from Nguru Nworie, a community in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo state, but based in Ghana, said he had returned to Nigeria to attend a friend’s traditional marriage ceremony in Bayelsa State when the incident happened.
I don't really care about my wife making it out. It wouldn't bother me. Come to think of it, the thought of it makes me horney.
NairaOcean: In a shocking and viral video circulating on social media, a Nigerian lesbian has stirred controversy by boldly proclaiming that "all your wives are in my DMs." The woman, whose identity remains unknown, directly addressed married men, claiming that their spouses are contacting her in private messages.
The video, which has garnered thousands of views and sparked a flurry of reactions online, shows the woman confidently boasting about the attention she receives from married women.
Tinubu has a lot of explaining to do. He should be the last person to avoid debates. The fact that he is doing so confirms my fears that all the allegations against him are correct. I'm a member of APC but I've already made my decision who to vote for and it is not Tinubu.
All Fani Kayode is looking for is food. He is angry that he will not get shishi from Peter Obi.
ponishah: I saw it as it was shown to me, as I had been shown occurrences in the past
It was like a podium and I saw two people on the podium. AND THE TWO PEOPLE WERE ATIKU and OBI Opposite me, Atiku was on the left, Obi on the right, and on the podium Atiku was on the right, Obi on the left. And they were dragging a document, each holding that document tight and dragging it to claim it whole. They were engaged in a serious disagreement. It looked like a stalemate, like each claiming he had the number and there was confusion and silence and stalemate; Then, suddenly, it was announced that Atiku has the higher number and was the winner. Just the revelation I got last week. I am neither an afaa nor a pastor, I just a gift from my creator.
This experience is not unique. You may be surprised how common it is. Young and enterprising Nigerians pursued to stupor by government agencies bent on stiffling their progress. And you wonder why the country remains the way it is!
A young Nigerian Jude Bela has won the Nigeria Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at the appellate court for illegal detention, and confiscation of his properties all in the name of "he's too young to make money from Google Adsense"
According to the video shared by Jude Bela on his YouTube page, trouble started back in 2019 when the EFCC ordered 2 Nigerian banks UBA and Polaris banks to freeze all his accounts on suspicion of money laundering. He was invited to the EFCC office where he was later detained for four days and thereafter his house was searched where the EFCC took his house and business documents and later seized his cars and house.
According to Bela, he showed EFCC his source of income which is Google Adsense from YouTube but the argument from EFCC was that he was too young to have such an amount. After much frustration by EFCC and its refusal to charge him to court, he decided to sue the EFCC at the federal high court where he won the case against the gross violation of his human rights. The case was appealed by EFCC at the appeal court and the appellate court also upheld the judgement of the high court.
During this trauma period, he lost everything, his business, joy and YouTube channel
Why are they now afraid of Obi? And who says hardworking Nigerians abroad cannot send money back home to support a candidate of their choice? Let them go to court.
The masses are responsible for what is happening today. This is what happens when people sell their votes.
mccloud224: Once upon a time, years could pass without hearing of a single murder in social media (except road accidents, airplane mishaps and of course "accidental discharge" from police).
Today, to kill is nothing. A full grown chicken is now worth more than human life. Who do we blame? Govt? Certainly NOT...coz YOU elected them same way you are killing yourselves over a dead vegetable with nothing to offer called TINUBU.
God forbide BATin. If you are so sure of victory why are you so jittery? More than 30% of the figures you quoted for Lagos are Igbos other people from the South East. So it is for Kano, Katsina, etc.
Once again, I am not surprised, Anambra is the least of the top 10.
This clean data further show that the major 3 tribes by population are Hausa, Yoruba and Fulani.
From another clean data from biometric linked to GSM numbers, 80% Igbo population live in the 5 Igbo states that make up the South East. That is why Igbo communities in the South East are the least diversified.
20% live outside SE and most live in states bordering the 5 SE states like Rivers, Delta, Kogi, Benue.
Fewer Igbo live in far away places like Lagos, Abuja, Kaduna and Kano. That is why even if elections are conducted iin those far away states ,Igbo can not determine the outcome.
SW and NW are already in the kitty for Asiwaju Tinubu.
HE Atiku can have SE with the least populous zone with the least number of registerd voters as usual 2023 victory is done and dusted for Asiwaju Tinubu.
