So I finally got my passport after almost 6 months from the day I did my capturing. Those in Alausa should only go on the days the initials of their surname fall on, if not you won't be attended to.

It's been 3 months since I did my capturing, though my NIN didn't drop but it has been rectified. I wasn't given a date to come for my passport but I was given a paper with a unique number written on it.
I've sent so many tweets and emails to NIS official Twitter and Emails address to know if my passport is ready but I did not get any response from them.

I'm planning to go to Alausa to check out things for myself, if I get there should I meet the lady at the Servicom desk or go straight to the collection room and show them that paper?

What does this mean because I've already done my capturing.

Yes, they said my NIN verification failed, it's been over a month now, though I've done my capturing.
I haven't been to Alausa since I was captured, I was only given a white paper with a number written on it, what do I do?

No way they won't give you the slip at Alausa, once you are done capturing you will be asked to confirm your details and asked to pick your print out at the printer yourself, unless you attached yourself with an officer which that might have been your case and they will start giving you story just to extort you later, just wait and see, because without the slip how will you go for collection? Well you will write your name in a sheet of paper.

He wrote my name and a 9 digit number on paper and gave it to me but didn't give me any print out as the NIN verification failed. He said the Servicom lady will do a follow up and when I told her she said they will call me.
Please is there a number I can call? May be Chioma's number, does anyone here have the number?

I successfully captured today at Alausa despite the fact that my NIN verification failed, it failed because the NIN server is overwhelmed. I returned my file back to the lady at Servicom and she said they will call me when it's time to come pick up my Passport, when I requested for a number to call she said I shouldn't worry that they have my number.
I wasn't given an enrolment ID when I left the capture room. Will they really call me and if not is there a number I can call?
P.s- I urgently need my passport.

I applied and paid for the passport today and I chose Alausa, but my interview date is on the 20th of January, can I go there on Monday?

Also, what's the background colour of the passport?

Please I'll like to know if the Alausa office is DIY friendly for the e-standard passport. Has anyone applied online, captured and collected their e-standard passport from the Alausa office?

U wont use birth certificate again pls as the name is not same with ur NIN.
U can use ur NIN inplace of LGA certificate and then ur age declaration pls. What I understood from u is that these two bear same names. That is ur age declaration and ur NIN

Ur nin will be a testament that u are a Nigerian and then ur age declaration serves in place of ur birth certificate. Finish.
Except u want ur passport to carry emmanuel?? So explain to me which u want on ur passport...

And yes my the names on my NIN and age declaration are the same and I want my passport to carry EMMA.
So there won't be any need to go with any document that bears EMMANUEL right?

If u have NIN, you won’t need LGA certificate to get passport as ur NIN would cover for that.

Yes I have NIN and the name on my NIN is AYOBAMI ALFRED EMMA. Can I go on with the application considering the fact that I have AYOBAMI ALFRED EMMANUEL on my birth certificate?

I want to apply for my passport but I have this worry.
On my birth certificate and Local Government of Origin certificate, my name is written as AYOBAMI ALFRED EMMANUEL but in all my other documents my name is written as AYOBAMI ALFRED EMMA. Though I have an age declaration cert where my name is also written as AYOBAMI ALFRED EMMA.

What do you advise I do in this case?
