If you want to make a nuanced argument, you look at Chances created per team, and you look at the frequency of those chances. You look at the key men in the supporting cast and check their pass accuracy and how many key passes they make per game. At Spurs not only are the likes of Eriksen topping the chances created table in the EPL, even their fullbacks in Rose and Walker are topping the chances created table for defenders.

Lukaku scoring 19 goals, with no Penalties unlike Kane's 4, playing in a team inferior to Kane's on literally any metric you can think of, is actually something to be applauded.

First of all, Lukaku doesn't have a better output when compared to Kane. Check the attached image. Both goals scored AND more importantly overall performance, Kane is better.

Logic: Lukaku played for Chelsea 10 times, 0 goals (don't even start on the wing he played. Sturridge was scoring when he was played off wing.) but as soon as he left for West Brom he scored in his debut, as a 77th minute sub. The next game he scored. What better way to describe average player in a small pond?

Firstly the only thing that your chart shows for sure is that Kane is scoring at a faster rate than Lukaku, which is hardly surprising considering that Spurs have created more chances than Everton this season, and have created more chances per minute than Everton this season.

In terms of raw numbers, Lukaku is currently ahead of both Kane and Costa.

If we use the stats that you provided, misused as they are, Lukaku beats out Costa and is only slightly behind Kane in terms of goal scoring rate (which does not take into account his penalties).

So we have a player that is in the same performance bracket as the strikers at the top of the league.

Have you not asked yourself why Lukaku is stuck in 6th despite doing similar to, or better than the strikers in the top 4? Did you not ask yourself that before stating that his 19 goals are useless because Everton are 6th?

Liverpool should have won the league that season. Suarez scored a whopping 31 goals in the league that year. The likes of timbros would have said those 31 goals were useless, without questioning the players that literally caused the title to slip away from Liverpool that year.

Lukaku with his 19 goals and 5 assists has done better than Kane(19 goals 4 assists), and Costa (17 goals 5 assists) yet his team are in 6th position, whilst Kane and Costa are 1st and 2nd.

Swap the numbers round and explain how Kane or Costa's contributions would have moved Everton into 1st or 2no place.
