4kg is much abeg, I use to have a very flat tummy, even my 1st was not showing like this until 38weeks. And he weighed 3kg

For me the worst part of being pregnant is the public attention. Everyone that's ever seen a baby in their lives feel like they can now advise you. Touts and roadside traders and all.

I've heard all these and worse from the most random strangers, the fact that they even call me iya beji annoys me too, are you the one that put the beji there?

And the way most people stare at a pregnant tummy like it's one of the world's 7 wonders.

It's called pelvimetry, we were told it's 6k for the test and it is being checked with machine.
I am not sure I can use the drug, it's big and looks like wood

Nikkishola, pelvimetry I suppose is what you are talking about, its recommended by some Gynae depending on some situations, ct and xray pelvimetry. Pls don't be scared if your Gynae asks you to do it, yeah, its done at 36weeks and its painless unless its d one dem dey do with hand, well ..

Yes, pelvimetry! But is it still advisable for me to do because this is my second preg. Though am feeling this is bigger than the 1st preg.

Good evening to mamas in the house! I went for ante natal clinic today. I heard new thing I've not heard before! About pelvic test, that one can do it @ 36th weeks. According to them "it is advisable for first timer, short women and fat people, and one will know if the size of the baby is bigger than the pelvic, what needs to be done and all that.

Also I saw this drug, it really scares me, I don't think I can use it. They said is 4k. I don't know if anyone has seen it before

It happened to me @ D last trimester when I had my first child! But because I didn't vomit or had any morning sickness @ early stage then. So I felt is normal

Check Konga.com, u will need to know the size of the cot so it won't be too big or little. I got mine there @ 9k

Mamas is it everyone that poos during delivery. Is there nothing the hospital or the person can do to clear the colon? This pooing and another person packing it is embarrassing.


BTW, love all the birth stories, I was giddy when I saw two BS at a go.

I did not poo when I birthed my first born. It's not everybody, instead naa pee I dey pee.

Yes oo, my able cappo. God has been faithful to us. I was scared I will fall sick @ D last trimester, because I didn't feel any morning sickness @d first trimester. I don't think there's an issue with the combination... I used Obron 6 throughout my pregnancy... My doc (at the general hospital) later prescribed astyfer blood capsule with the obron 6 cos my pcv was low... I used the combo till I put to bed...

Try go to general hospital or teaching hospital. You get to see specialists.

I don't really like the stress of the general hospital. Where they will ask for series of tests and all .

I hail all the good mamas in the house oo, good morning all, congratulations to the team Feb who have offload, and we await good news for the rest of us Insha Allah.

I went to register in another hospital yesterday coz of the blood I am seeing in my breast, was hoping the new doctor will examine the breast, he just asked some questions and wrote anti biotic drug and added chemiron blood capsule. Meanwhile I am using obron 6, so the combination of chemiron and obron 6 is what am concerned about. I told the doctor and he ask me to go ahead with the drug.
Pls what do u suggest I do...

Anytime I eat vegetables, I always visit the toilet. The ugwu I ate yesternight; as am typing this msg Na toilet I dey . (more than 5 times now) what will I be eating instead of vegetables oo

God knows the best.
I went into pre- term labour @23weeks yesterday and lost lo. She looked so Adorable and helpless at sight, I just can't explain why she couldn't stay put for us till atleast 38weeks.
I still want to thank God for the experience.
And I pray none will cast their young n this forum.

One big lesson I learnt. Use teaching/government hospital especially for ftm.
The hospital kept reassuring me that all I needed was rest and More water, that everything looks fine.
Even when I was losing mucus plug they told me it will grow back.
Spoting was not a thing to worry about, only bleeding.
One man's opinion is truly bad.

All in all, I still thank God for the experience.

So sorry for ur loss! God knows the best

Grant us good health. Lord I also pray that You lead all pregnant women who are reading this prayer to safe and normal delivery. Welicome teamie what kind of story is that? Have you registered for ante-natal? If you have, then your doctor would have told you what he is going to do. I don't think you should be scared. My doctor already explained what he will do since I have a rhesus negative. I wish you a healthy pregnancy.
