Disregard those feedback on not being able to use NYSC. You can use your Nysc application as long as you are willing to be truthful. This journey is all about honesty and proof. The applicant wasn't truthful. He or she claimed a full time work experience from May 2016 to May 2018 and at the same time claimed experience for NYSC from March 2016 to April 2017 in NAFDAC a different organization totally. Please do the maths. Everyone knows NYSC is mandatory and you can't claim to be doing an extra job even if in reality he or she was probably ghosting. However you can't eat your cake and have it. He or she should have left NYSC out of the application as they don't tally. The person was packaging to get point for 3 years but forgot to do the maths and got caught up. You can't be claiming full time employment for two years and still claim another one year experience within the same one year. I would also flag it if I was a VO. Most people didn't take their time to read the GCMS note. They just saw NYSC and are already propagating what is not. Use anything so long you can prove it. My two cents. To everyone who like to advice, while we know it's from a good place, and some people derive joy in seeing other people helpless and confused. Please know something, everyone is stressed out already from this journey and this year as a whole, the only ray of hope may be this journey of trying to immigrate. Don't make it harder for others because you are not using it or not in their situation.
My thoughts exactly. In addition, the NYSC Mathematics teacher did not perform the standard duties in the lead statement and job description. Hence they regarded it as an internship. A lawyer that served as a lawyer during NYSC, appearing in court and performing other lawyer duties while serving will not be regarded as an intern( for instance).

They did not require my NIN but you'll need a document prove your address. Your driver's license or NIN slip will suffice.

It is a location issue not a card issue. I faced similar difficulties when I wanted to get mine, until I changed my IP address to a foreign one and tried using my Nigerian card and it was successful.
You see and someone said I was disseminating false and fake news. Anyway I don't know again. Can the seniors in the group please address the issue so others will learn.

Please check the subsequent posts. Some people said they were able to pay with their Nigerian bank cards. So I believe you can pay from Nigeria

I applied for mine from my home and Lagos and paid with my GTBank card. Kindly verify this info . I did mine on https://www.acro.police.uk/
Selected regular posting don’t know how long that takes though. Part of why I’m still reluctant to create my profile because I’ll have crs 481 and if I get an invitation this week I may not have enough time to gather these documents .
Thank you for shedding more light. I did not know you could pay with Nigerian bank card. I did not try when I read on the site that Nigeria was one of the countries you couldn't pay from. I tried to pay using a US bank card and it didn't work. Until my mother applied herself and paid from there. I'm sure the person that asked now has his answer. Thanks

Refrain from posting fake/unconfirmed information as it may lead people astray on here. You can pay for your UK PCC with your Nigerian bank card.
Well I spoke from my own experience. I couldn't pay with my mother's card details from Nigeria. She had to file for me under third party application. That is my story! I gave an answer from my experience to help out. Why did you keep quiet all this while, instead of guiding this person that asked. What you were fast to do is to crucify me for saying my own story.

Hi, I wanted to apply for UK PCC and saw where they wrote that Nigeria was one of the countries banned from making online payments on the site. How did you pay?
You can't pay from Nigeria even if you have the card details of a foreign account. They use the IP address of your internet to know what country you are applying from. To get mine I got someone in the US to apply for me under Third Party Application. You'll give the person all the details and colour scanned documents. You also have to write, sign and scan a letter of authorization certifying that you have given permission for the person to apply on your behalf. They also need a document where you have your signature. I guess they need it to compare it with the signature in the letter of authorization. Your intl passport will suffice for this. They process your application really fast as long as you give them all the required info and documents. At the point of paying I suggest you select the standard time for processing £55 (12 working days) and international courier £48 depending on how much time you have to submit your Application. This way you are sure about the post and you'll get it in time. I got mine within 2 weeks. I hope this helps.

dieticians are not included in list of occupations regarded as professional degree/masters. She needs an extra degree or certification.
Thanks for responding. They study nutrition and dietetics as undergrad. They now do something they call an Internship (it's academic work) for one year. If you pass you're given certification to practice as a dietician, without which you cannot practice as a dietician. Their profession is a licensed one. I don't know the body , I'll find out.
When you simulate your crs score, the question for level of education has the option for 'masters or license to practice in a licensed profession' to get the points for masters.
I've heard that lawyers without masters prefer to evaluate their 5yr undergrad + 1yr law school with IQAS instead of WES because IQAS will evaluate all to give them points for masters.
But the confusion is that law school will give transcript but this dietician body will not give transcript. She's trying to get the highest possible score she can get.
Or a better put question may be whether IQAS can evaluate a certificate without transcript if that makes any sense. Please people don't get tired of me. Guide me accordingly abeg.

Good morning house. It's me again. Please guide me accordingly. When they state that if you have given biometrics in the last ten years, there's no need to give another one. Do they mean giving biometrics to travel to any country not just Canada? I did biometrics for study in the UK in 2015. Does it mean I don't have to do it again now? Thanks in advance

It means a single applicant would pay 1325 while a person applying as married would pay 1325 also for spouse and 225 for each of the kids included in the application
Thanks a lot
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Nikkybeth: 1:20pm On Sep 28, 2020
Mamaroon:
Children can only be added on your eAPR, you could not have included them on your EE profile before ITA. The total fees are below, the ones in bold/red font would apply to an applicant that is NOT going with their spouse but is taking their children along. $225 is for each child, if you have 5 children 225 x 5.

You can pay the right of permanent residence fee ($500) later but IRCC recommend you pay the right of permanent residence fee (CAN$500) when you submit your online application to avoid future delays.. If you are leaving it out you will pay $825 now instead of $1,325 for yourself alone.

Fees $CAN
Processing fee ($825) and right of permanent residence fee ($500) for Primary Applicant alone (i.e. YOU) $1,325
Your application (without right of permanent residence fee) $825

Processing fee ($825) and right of permanent residence fee ($500) for your spouse (if they are coming with you) $1,325
For your spouse (without right of permanent residence fee) $825

For each dependent child $225(per child)

Biometrics – per person $85
Biometrics – per family (2 or more people) maximum fee for a family of 2 or more people applying at the same time and place $170
Thanks a lot Mamaroon. I really appreciate you.

Details of application fees including biometrics (if you have not done any previously) circled below from page 1.
Thanks a lot. I got the information from page one but I'm a little bit confused because they said 'your application costs 1325'. Then another row states ' if you want to include dependent children 225 per child'.
This inclusion of children does it mean adding more children that one did not earlier say they were travelling with?
Please someone that applied with their children should help. Thanks to everybody that has responded already.

Please help. I received ITA on the 16th. I've been trying the numbers of IOM Abuja and they're switched off. Who has any info on whether their office is closed due to the pandemic? I sent an email and got an automatic response which still referred me to those numbers to find out the cost. Please guide me.

Anybody here who attended Dundee? I want to know if they have been able to get the University to send transcript to WES and how long it took
Yes. I attended Dundee uni. They are fast. Just go to student services on their website and select the right school office. I think it's the exams office. Send them an email and they'll reply same day or you call their number. Immediately they receive your payment, they'll process it and send it out immediately except you call close to close of work hours. Then they'll send it the next day.

Good day people. Please can someone explain 1 year continuous work experience. I've been working and along the line left for 1 year for masters after which I came back to my previous job. I did not resign and I wasn't paid during that period. Does the continuous work experience include the times prior masters? Or does it mean complete years of working without any break within one year?
Thanks in advance

I think this is the best bet. I was 451 and was already losing hope, untill this lockdown when I saw the points dropping. I quickly removed hubby (and he is not happy about it at all), but I'm up to 457 and I'm hopeful.

Back in August last year my score was 458. Without hubby it would have been 465. But I refused to remove him. I thought the points Will drop, I was wrong. And I regretted the decision. In October I lost 8 points for age and the points kept rising. It's better to make hay when the sun shines.

The truth is spousal visas are easy to get with PR. No need wasting your time.
exactly. If your points are higher without your spouse, you should apply without them. When you get your PR you apply for them.
