frank043: Knowing the occupation you want to nominate and the assessing body is a step in the right direction, i must commend. If you go to anzscosearch.com, sign up and search for this occupation. You will find enough details of this occupation, such as description then also, visit TRA website, still via this same link and check out their requirements. Take your time, there's no need for any rush. Thanks for the response, really appreciate from all.I will check on anzsco as advised and don't mind from contributions from people that has been assessed by TRA in the house. Thanks again. Please Gurus in the house ooooo, kindly assist with information from people that has been assessed by TRA,and how many points is HND in calculation.Thank you. |

frank043: OK. What occupation are you nominating? Check the qualification requirements and the assessing body's requirements and source for the documents required. BSc, HND is about the same method of assessment. Certificates, transcripts etc. I wants to be assessed as Pastry Cook with TRA,I hardly know anything about the body requirements, how long it takes and all that. Thanks |

elothaddi: Thank you for this response. I have struggling to solve this problem of payslips and I was even thinking of preparing for my self. In my own case , all payment was made into my account and I printed them.
(quote author=kamotisha post=61392280]
This is a dicey one. How were you paid? If they paid into your bank account, print out your statement of account and use a highlight pen to highlight your salary coming in. I have over 7 years experience but i didnt have payslips for the first 10 months. Out of the 10 months, I was paid by hand for 6 months and paid into acct for the remaining 4 months. I submitted my statement of account for the 4 months and it was counted. The 6 months which I was paid by hand wasn't counted as I had no proof. Luckily for me, the deduction didn't have an effect on my points. So you can do same. Hope this helps... All the best! Please house I want to know how they assess HND,is it equivalent with Bsc?thank you in advance. |

debsty: @ Bellong , I live a bit far from Randwick. The place is closer to the city. However , I am very familiar with the place as I have a naija family friend staying around that axis. Are you popping into the area anytime soon?
@ Nickycool, I was forced to laugh when I read your comment. This is same notion believed by so many people. Except you are living in some major countryside location or newly developed areas, you definitely wont be seeing snakes in a long time to come. However , there is always that warning that people should clear their lawns and bushes around the house especially after spring at the onset of summer to avoid any creeping creatures hiding there. Ok,thank you for this,at least I have rest of mind now.You guys should please keep it coming as it really encourages intending immigrants like us. |

Derende: In my own candid opinion, try and apply again as from 6 months time, cos if you reapply again soonest, it will only show an act of desperation by the next vo interviewing you. When applying next time, try and apply alone first. Am sure you will get it this time around. Best of luck next time. Thank you and Amen,am planning we reapply by December. What if we all apply for family vacation or just me and Hubby?Which do you think will fly.Sorry for asking too much o. |

Derende: You should have applied with your hubby alone, the vo might be thinking the kid you are travelling with might be the only kid you have, that the other 3 was just a ploy to immigrate out of the country with your family. Reaccess yourself again before reapplying . Thanks for the advice, appreciate it.But how soon can one apply and can the two of us just apply? Thanks again |
Travel › Re: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by nikkycool(f): 4:56pm On Sep 02, 2017 |
KaptainAfrika: I always begin with these questions: 1. Have you applied before, as a single or a couple? 2. Have you used an agent before? Now lets look at what the VO is probably reasoning: 1. You have four kids, but travelling with only one; can you really afford this trip? 2. The answer to the question, why are you travelling with only one, is quite weak - but the truth is the truth. Although, I would have said, "I just weaned the baby and I can't leave him/her alone, but the other three are old enough and are being taken care of". 3. You are probably pregnant and going to the US to give birth, and trying to increase your chances by applying with your husband and kid (to cover up that you are going to give birth). These are just my opinions, I will advise you to try other places other than the US for now. If you come back and nothing has changed since you last applied, you may get the same result. And please DO NOT REAPPLY AND SAY YOU ARE GOING TO GIVE BIRTH, THAT WILL JUST CONFIRM THE SUSPICIONS OF THE VO, IF THAT WAS THE CASE. Thanks for the analysis. But seriously we are done with having kids and actually we have four.Pregnancy is faaaaar from it,just wanted to spend our holiday together.Changes is what is confusing me,if only two of us apply will that mean changes?or if all of us apply against December vacation if that will mean changes.Kindly advice. |

Please how soon can I reapply for Visit visa as I was denied on 28 of August with hubby.I really want to spend my leave days outside Nigeria.Kindly advise.Transcript for that day.VO Good morning Me and Hubby Good morning VO-How many kids do you have Me 4Kids VO-So why going with only one?Me-Cos she's the youngest 1+ and others will resume school when we want to travel.VO-To hubby you are an Estate Surveyor?Hubby said yes and you've been to Hajj he said yes again.VO to me What do you do,I mentioned my job and where I work.VO..How long do you want to stay?Me said 14days and she said when are you traveling?I said 21st cos we intended using the period to attend wedding in Houston and she brought out the unwanted paper.Note we filled 19 as departure date but the starting date of my leave was what came out of my mouth.I want to believe its the date that made her deny us but suggestions are welcomed. All the same learnt our lesson and plan to re apply. Thanks |

oscarpellenchy: I think your best bet is to first confirm if such certificate is assessed by Australian standard and on which level is it placed, before making the huge payment of $1000. You can also contact @ Lawland to assist you to check that. Had similar issue with Trade Test Certificate recently before it was discovered that the certificate is not assessible by Australian standard. Hello gurus in the house, please can this my result be used for job that requires competent english.Because on the information for English language it is written that you need to have Competent in each score or Competent plus overall. My result is S7.5 W6.5 R6.0 L5.5 which makes it overall 6.5.Please I need clarification on this if I can use it for my job that requires 6 in each band or 6.5 overall.Thank you. |

salford1: Transitional jobs. Its common all over Canada.
Welcome to Canada sir. Asper care jobs. This is not only common in Manitoba but all over Canada. I doubt if there is an easier survival job out there if you really need cash to safeguard the funds you landed with. 3 days ago, I still met some Nigerians at my mechanic's shop in Calgary discussing about their care job shifts. From what I heard....it is even difficult to get into such transitional jobs in bigger cities. Note the word transitional.
The truth is that not everyone would be able to get into their career path immediately they land, especially if you are in a regulated profession. Due to the influx of migrants, alot of regulatory authorities have put checks in place to ensure the right people get into those professsion.
The best people to offer some sort of advice are actually the same Nigerians in Manitoba. They already know the turf, but choose the people you relate with carefully. Some are satisfied with transitional jobs and wont mind retiring in such professions, but you would also find that alot would eventually move on to good careers. Don't be suprised that the guy or lady you saw in the mall taking care of an handicapped person would be one of the doctors listed on the newly opened clinic in your community. Hello house, please can you shed light on MCDII I.e Morden Community Immigration which is under Manitoba.I submitted my application recently and expecting feedback from them. Please can you say something about the Town in case there reply is positive and if it's worth it.Thank you. |
