@ mariory

None because these countries value or valued the life of their citizens and do/did not use them as human shields.
Be specific. Are you saying Lebanon does not value the lives of their citizens or Hezbollah does not value the lives of the citizens of Lebanon.

Because in one breath your also saying
iran created hezbolla from Shite groups present in the South of Lebanon.

Just some couple of minutes ago an inquiry set up in Israel to investigate the qana bombing stated Israel thought the building was used by Hezbollah, a building that housed refuges.
one of their many many mistakes abi.

Methinks they learn well from their closest ally. Doing things without thinking. Or lying about their reasons for doing things.

The conflict between Israel and its neighbors is a unique one in this day and age, there are some similarities to past events but the answer to this problem is not what Israel is doing, their response will only create future Hezbollah.
@ Shango you could not have said this better.
Why people cannot see this is baffling.

@ Mariory

source from BBC.co.uk
Hezbollah was conceived in 1982 by a group of clerics after the Israeli invasion of Lebanon. It was formed primarily to offer resistance to the Israeli occupation.
source from wikipedia
Hezbollah is considered by some (including the Lebanese government) to be a resistance movement and by others (including the governements of the U.S., Israel and Canada) to be a terrorist organization. It was formed to combat the Israeli occupation following the 1982 invasion of Lebanon with the additional aim of transforming Lebanon into an Islamic republic
Can you see how Israel created Hezbollah indirectly.

About hezbollah being freedom fighters my dear that depends on the way you look at it. Right now thats not something i am looking at or claiming or disclaiming.

@ davidylan,

you told me to ignore your posts. your not ignoring my post so i would go ahead and reply yours.
trust me i see all views (i don't know much, but from the little i know). but what clearly stands out is that innocent people are dying whether you like it or not.

You are once again saying "those of you in support of hezbollah". And i know i have said it over and over again that b/c i don't support Israel does not mean i support hezbollah (that part is yet to sink in for you).

No, you are DEFINITELY not interested in your so-called "many innocent lives", if not why were all of you silent when for 6 years Hizbollah constantly shelled Isreali civilians and thousands of suicide attacks after? where were you during sept 11? Where those 3000 innocent souls justified?
all of you silent? did you know me before this Israel vs Lebanon post? NO
you also seem to be forgeting Israel created Hezbollah (Indirectly ofcourse).

where was i during sept. 11? of course at home. ofcourse I am sorry for the 3000 (+/-) that was lost. Do you see me clapping for whoever did it? I am sure you don't stop to ask to yourself why this happened to the US.
Mind you this post is Israel vs. Lebanon.

you are entitled to your views, and i am entitled to mine, but do not misquote me. I never said i was in support of Hezbollah (because i don't know all what they stand for today) i know what they stood for when they were born.

let me write it in bold letters

I AM NOT IN SUPPORT OF WHAT ISRAEL IS DOING RIGHT NOW BECAUSE INNOCENT PEOPLE ARE DYING

in that statement do you see " i support hezbollah"
if you do, then you need glasses.

Foreign AffairsRe: Israel vs Hezbollah/Lebanon by nilla(f): 5:05pm On Aug 03, 2006
@ Afam,
its people like you that are still making me read this thread. If not I would have left cos the people that are in support of Israel destroying Lebanon (or as they say defending themselves) are obviously not going to see any other view.

some say all the arab or muslim countries surrounding Israel do not want peace with Israel. And yet I wonder why they are not attacking Israel right now. And also since some people just generalize this arabs or muslims as people that are suicide  bombers you would think these countries should not care about their lives as long as all of Israel is destroyed  huh

It would be nice if the law of physics (for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction) could be applied to all parts of life, esp. this case. Then there will never be peace as there are so many reactions yet to be accomplished.

ONCE AGAIN SUPPORTERS OF ISRAEL GET IT RIGHT THE PEOPLE NOT IN SUPPORT OF ISRAEL DO SO BECAUSE TOO MANY INNOCENT LIVES ARE BEING LOST AND YET 3 WEEKS AFTER HEZBOLLAH IS STILL STANDING.

and then again some of you argue that its war and there have to be casualties. WAR? I dont think Lebanon woke up planning to go to war with Israel.

HealthCryonics: What Is Your View On It? by nilla(op): 4:36pm On Aug 03, 2006
Cryonics (also mistakenly called cryogenics) is the process of preserving humans or animals that can no longer be sustained by contemporary medicine until resuscitation may be possible in the future.

Guys, what do you think about this new technology?

Is it something you will do or want a loved one to do? OR

Is it something you would not do in a million years? OR

Are you undecided on the topic?

THE POLL QUESTION IS IN REGARDS TO HUMANS

For me while I am interested in how much technology has advanced. I don't see any reason why I would want to be preserved to be brought back to life in the future (after being absent for "i don't know how long"wink.

I also want to mention that it's probably a mistake to register a domain name if you don't know exactly what you want to do with it. You'll just find yourself paying money every year for something you will never use!

In November 2004, a UN panel described terrorism as any act: "intended to cause death or serious bodily harm to civilians or non-combatants with the purpose of intimidating a population or compelling a government or an international organization to do or abstain from doing any act."

So in that context, try and analyze the actions of either Israel, Hamas, Hezbollah or America. Or all of them if you please!
Interesting point texazzpete. (no one can say you are biased).

All ye people that claim hezbollah are the terrorist and Israel the defenders, please prove huh
