what has the Yoruba's done to unite Nigeria, the last time I check it was Awo that invented tribal politics in Nigeria, Igbos are known to play fair politics, does Zik come to mind?, most Nigerians don't really have anything negative to say about Zik, which is not the case with Awo, a chronic ethnocentrist.

Dude, you need to calm down. The statement made by mamajama is not the view we hold about igbos. Your aggression and hope of Nigeria disintegrating is totally misplaced and uncalled for.

You are not the one to tell of the mindset of the average Yoruba person towards the Igbos, lets keep political correctness apart, the only thing an average Yoruba person feels towards an Igbo person is hate, you must also agree that this forum which is a living prove of what am saying would go a long way to enlighten many Igbos who hasn't the opportunity to deal with the Yoruba's on day to day basis, unlike myself. If you would be hornest with yourself, you would have noticed that this kind of banality takes place on nairaland quotidianly, and is not a coincidence that the perpetrators are Yoruba's.

Most of us are not getting to the nucleus of the problem, if you study in another mans language:

1, he can never have any respect for you.
2, you can never compete with the person you study in his language.
3, he will always be ahead you, cause you think in your local dialect [a good reason for the probability of incompitence] while studying in a foreign language, on the other hand the person you study in his language thinks in that very language and studies in that same language.
4, you can never put what you learned into practical use effectively, but you can cram and pass exams and that is the limit you can go.
5, your IQ would always be low.

no other country in the world studies in foreign language, Africans are dumb asses for adopting foreign languages and they still want respect, caammannn!.
