Kobojunkie:Is a God Given right to remain dumb. what do you know about Russia, Russians has almost a different account of every inventions including the moon landing stuff, ne govory toshto tiy nesnayet, tiy ponimaesh? |
I 've been reading this thread for a while, and I have noticed with great disappointment how people are not very independent in their thinking, at this junction you actually want to start considering if Dr Watson was right. People switch off their brain, unable to apply logic's and would keep demanding for documents to prove every single point, reminds me only of zombie, by this demand to peddle only written documents here, one has to be completely divorced from the very issue at hand, I thought this discussion should be about Application of logic's. lets apply logic here rather, man has been to the space and has displayed the desire to continue the exploration of the space, by up grading the transportation system to the space from conventional rockets to more efficient and comfortable means called space shuttle, therefore using only rockets for launching, there is a very visible modern day continuance in the exploration of the space, because space travel is real, the space is not parse out of this earth, the space is only partially out of the atmosphere and with a diminished effect of gravity, but the space does not lack oxygen, hence flying objects so far invented by man which depends on hot air to gain upthrust could be used to explore the space, this is not the case with the moon landing stuff which is very evident that the moon exploration was either discarded or that it never was. Many times, it has been said that the moon is sort of a vacuum with no oxygen, people has failed to apply deeper thought, that all flying objects invented by man so far depends on hot air to gain upthrust and air can not be generated in a vacuum, which would make the principle of flying as we know it not to apply once any flying objects known by man enters the moon space. even if man would depend on free fall to land in the moon once the rocket or the space shuttle enters the moon space, man would not be able to make it back to the earth, because their flying craft would not be able to generate any air for an upthrust during the take off. the people that came up with the moon landing thing knew that the world is full of intellectual slaves unable to think independently, this shit don't fly with NINETOFIVE, so let all the madness stop now, for you to generate heavy wind with a propeller, there is need for air to be present in the atmosphere, even the heavy furnace the turbo engine emits can not even apply in a vacuum. |
from davidylonI could not agree more. |
almondjoy:thanks for crabwisely accepting you were wrong, you don't need to search further, yeah! am actually happy. ![]() |
almondjoy:This your comment left me wondering what actually was the aim of your antagonistic comments on the Nigerian Jeep thread, if your negative comments were limited to the ethnocentric nature of the thread, I wont be asking this question now, search your soul man. |
What a disproportional level of Irony, is so absurd. |
davidylan:fair enough, we all have an understanding. ![]() |
Afam:I do understand what you mean, thanks for a level headed reply. |
To Afam ansd Davidylon, If you guys actually think those exams you two are bickering about is the yard stick the Europeans used in measuring and came to the conclusion that they are superior, then I may disappoint you by saying that you two are actually militating the old mans point, exams are only meant to test your memory and to some extend mere mental exercise, I call it brain bashing. Exams are based on informations you already had afore knowledge of, or test of your application of informations you had afore knowledge of in different but equivalent perspective. this guys are mostly basing their assumptions on creativity, the guys that came up with those informations you learn before the exams are the creative guys, you guys are killing yourselfs over nothing. |
denex:With all respect and not having to condescend, the main thing responsible for the way you feel right now is ignorance, the blackness of your skin is just a mechanical device the body developed, in having to adapt itself to high intensity of the UV ray in the tropical region, this is referred to as melanin, the skin colour of a certain group of people is inconsequential cause is subject to change, and the primary factor that determines this is the climate. it takes 10, 000 years for dark skin people to mutate into lighter skin if the weather of their habitat changes from warmer to cooler, and it takes a lot lesser [approximately 1/5 of 10,000 years, though at this time they would still retain straight hair] for the light skin people to mutate into dark skin if the weather of their habitat changes from cooler to warmer weather. With the present climate change, in the future 99.9% percent of mankind would be dark skin [am not superstitious but this notion coincides with the statement Nostradamus made that the black gene would dominate the white gene and the whole world would turn black], this trend has happened before, this is why science concluded that all the races you know today had common ancestor. though after the era of the whole world tuning dark skin has passed, in about 12 to 13,000 years from now, we would once again have the same diverse sets of race of mankind like we have today, but the difference is that races as we know it today would have swapped. So may you Denex quit being delusional, and accept yourself and know that there is nothing negative about being black. The only thing is that tropical weather tends to make people a little laid back. If you want to know more about this, check out this argument https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-20598.288.html#msg1124604 I had with Nferyn on a closer subject, start from page 10 till the end, you would surely change your mind, unfortunately Nairaland has gone to the dogs, I miss those days. |
@ NinetoFive, ![]() |
Excellent point made @NineToFiveThank you, the point is that I only tried to analyse this situation without any human emotions, one does not need a lot of research to notice the power or the ingenuity of the humans brain, is simple, take a walk into any European pretty high tech factories, see what they ve done with automation, you will see the correlation in the old dudes statement. Our forefathers were not to be blamed for lack of legacies because they had no need for most of the thing invented by European as a survival front, rather the present generation should be blamed for not taking the challenge as a matter of competition. |
If you guys want to know where the old man drew his conclusions from, go through this thread https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-84852.0.html#msg1573272 you would surely be enlightened. the Europeans are not genetically superior to black people or more intelligent than Africans, but it should be noted that the nature of their environment made it possible for them to have made a lot use of their brain than Africans. we would be bunch of Idiots not to see this, the brain is like muscle tissue, the more you exercise it, the better it works, the capabilities of the human brain is not quantifiable, food for thought, they held this same view about the Asians before, but today the Yellow race are far smarter than Europeans, this is why the intelligent quotient of a particular region is not static, If we Africans would challenge our selves, we can even do better than the yellow race, is all about determination. |
Una see me trouble oh! how fast things changes, now Igbo made is a word people don’t want to hear, how ironic? now Igbo made is a word that could derive so much envy and antagonism, I could remember when I was little, in our family business, Yoruba folks used to come around and mock us that they don’t want GBARUFF or IGBO MADE [i.e inferior products], Taiwan products comes to mind at this juncture, apparently every great nation started from some where, all the Igbo liberals that blindly want to skulk or get on with the Nigeria program or try’s to agree with imbeciles just to belong should think again, we don't need Nigeria, we need to reach out to other African countries, once the project becomes a hit in continental Africa chikena. I 've always been a realist. this highly voluble thread with all the candidates that are ever ready to flout the Igbo race is very explanatory, we can all work together as African's, but nation? Nah, I cant really see where all the patch patch relationship would get us all. |
almondjoy:Too much hatred is actually not good for, could make you neurotic, calm down please. |
almondjoy:To an indolent bunch of camarillas with low self expectation, this is a laughing matter, there is going to be a last laugh, and believe me it would be very loud and hard. thank God this is coming from the private sector, we wont be waiting for your government. |
Thank you bro, am sorry for my tone too. |
The car maker had no backup plans? This could probably be this case, this is possible, but at least now we know this could happen, is good to learn from other people's mistake. |
toshmann:You should have known by now that I only discourse things that are close to my heart , and I would not like to have you running contumely around telling me how best to air my views, don't mean to be rude, we 've had this before, so bro, slow it down, slow it down. I would advise you to deal with the issue at hand, rather than teaching NINETOFIVE manners, do I look like I care? |
Ezekiel Izogu, managing director of Izogu Motors Limited managing director disclosed this in an exclusive interview with BUSINESSDAY. Izogu said the car was first launched in Owerri in 1997 by then Chief of General Staff Oladipo Diya during the regime of former Head of State Sani Abacha. But the success story really began last year when Izogu was invited by South Africa to deliver a lecture on science and technology. Izogu said: "The South African Government encouraged me more than my own country. Mbeki sent his deputy-president to receive me and told me how ready they were to encourage me and to provide what I wanted. "However, they said I must take the car to South Africa to let it be manufactured in their country. If they are putting up the money it is only fair that the car is made in their country". He added that the board of directors at Izogu Motors was in the process of taking the car to South Africa, but he stressed that the Z600 would "lose its Nigerian identity". For the car to be truly Nigerian, he said, the engine, chassis and body would have to be made in this country. He claimed that "ethnic politics killed this product in Nigeria". "After the car's launch the Federal Government formed a high-powered team of scientists to probe my work. This team was led by the then Science and Technology Minister, Sam Momoh. The team was drawn from research institutions in Nigeria. "They spent three days in Owerri investigating my job. Questions were asked and I answered them. "When the team went back to Abuja, matters concerning the car were discussed at an executive council meeting which resulted in a commendation letter being sent to me. "But politics of ‘why must it be an Igbo man' came up. I was shocked!" Despite these set-backs Izogu said "the world will feel and touch a car made in |South Africa instead of a car that should have been made in Nigeria". "This car must be mass produced. It is worth doing that I as a Nigerian. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ @all The words I highlighted above were the reason why I said it would never be well with Nigeria, cause is obvious it wasn't foreigners that perpetrated the crime and is pellucid that the guys that stole the manuscript never did it for any gain rather than to slake the car manufacturer's effort in making the product see the light of the day, please pardon my out bust of emotion cause am equally into this kind of stuff. |
Seun I do understand that I was a little over the top, but I thought is a free world, those words I used were exactly how I felt, I cant really see any point in changing the title of a well thought out thread. Though the words may sound offensive, but I was trying to make my view palpable, no time for bantering talk, now you 've taken the fire in the thread, thank you. |
Now I know how the dream of Nigeria made car was killed. though the car was not flashy. http://www.nigeriamasterweb.com/1stNigerianMadeCarNews.html Vanguard News, Sunday, March 19, 2006 *Design history, moulds of Nigerian made car stolen An indigenous motor manufacturing company, Izuogu Motors Limited, Naze Owerri, Imo State, has lost property valued at over one billion naira to burglary. According to the chairman of the company, Dr. Ezekiel Izuogu, some armed men numbering about 12 broke into Izuogu Motors factory, Saturday, March 11, between 1.00 and 2.00 a.m. and carted away various machines and tools including a design history notebook of Z-600, the design file Z-MASS, containing the design history for mass production of Z-600 car, a proposed locally made car and the moulds for various parts of the car. Izuogu, who has laboured for 18 years under very difficult circimstances to design and produce the stolen moulds, lamented that the moulds took 10 years to design and build. “The perplexing thing about this theft is that it is clear that none of the stolen items can be sold in the market. Since the Z-600 is not yet in the market, the items stolen can only be used by the 600 phototype which is just one car,” he told journalists. He wondered why other highly valued machines and tools in the factory were not touched by the robbers if they were looking for money. “It seems that the target of this robbery is to stop the efforts we are making to mass-produce the first ever locally made car in Africa,” he stated, adding: “Other items stolen after a quick inventory conducted by the company soon after the incident include locally produced timing wheel, locally produced year camshaft, locally produced crankshaft, locally produced engine tappets, all 20 pieces each. Also stolen are 10 pieces of locally produced Z-600 engine blocks, 10 pieces of locally produced pistons, 4 pieces of engine block mounds, 4 pieces of top engine block moulds, 10 pieces of engine fly wheel and 2 pieces each of rear car and front mudguard moulds. The moulds stolen took 10 years to design and build. In monetary terms they are valued over one billion Naira. But the problem is not the money but the time and energy it took to design and produce these moulds. To worsen the matter, our design notebook has also been stolen.” He regarded the loss as a national economic disaster were the nation to appreciate the value of technological and intellectual property. Izuogu therefore appealed to the Federal Government, the security agencies and all well-meaning Nigerians to assist in the recovery of the stolen items. The robbers had mercilessly beaten the security men and tied them up before forcing the factory open, he added. |
A pretty stand up thing, kudos, we need more of this, |
fro laudateSo pathetic! must you always be the referee? God! too much of every thing makes people sick, stop phucking sucking up, I almost puked. |
Your senegalese friends are being economical with the truth. the key here is that in their country, 9.5 out of every Senegalese is muslim. If they went on rampage whom will they kill?Very logical. |
What can I say, these guys are no human. |
If you guys think is financial freedom that is is the curse of the divorce rate in Europe and America, then you must be bunch of naive people, the north east Asians like the Japanese enjoys more financial freedom than the westerners, but they don't divorce, the eastern Europeans are very poor people and their divorce rate is 90%. Is just the nature of Europeans, they are the most incompatible race, the reason for the divorce race is the me me attitude, most of the time they consider only themselves. so people don't try to copy this useless way of life, cause you might have to commit suicide in the end when you would be moving from one relationship to another till you are old and lonely, believe me this is the curse of depression and suicide prevalent in Europe and America. |
Reagan had fantastic polling stats. How does that reflect on his attitude towards racism?
Well in that sense, you are right, that trend started with George bush Snr, I guess this is what argument is all about, my only fear is that you can not really trust these guys, if the table turns, you don't have a lot of guarantee, is all about politics robbing peter to pay Paul, one thing you are right about also is the fact that we should pretty much mind our business, cause when we were oppressed nobody spoke up for us. reminds me of the word of Gandhi: Gandhi told the then South African Apartheid regime that the Indians should not be relegated to the level of raw Kaffir {Black} who only thinks of how to sell goat, buy wife and waist away in eternal indolence. |
What is this incoherent twaddle you are spewing? If you are one of those who think that the tens of thousands of policy decisions Bush has made are all wrong, then you are incurably blinded by prejudice.
There is a complete reflection of those good policy decisions in the pols, I still maintain that ignorance is bliss. |
The question Afam should be asked is whether Bush has ever done anything right.
You should not be asking questions, you should be furnishing us with all the right things Bush has done, the bliss in in ignorance is insurmountable. Bush is the continuation of American history; first, the extermination of the the Amerindians, then the enslavement of Africans, we all know who's next, cant people just do nothing? |
Tayo-D, Davidylan and I-man.You can argue with self hating dumb morons all your life, it wont make any difference, believe me I've had my fair share of this battle and I wont go back, they just need that flash moment as a wake up call, and am as sure as heaven it would go round. i've been to all kinds of racist sites, is only black people that jumps to the defence of those who could not give phuck about them and I blame this on very low IQ and inferiority complex, to become a very smart person you have to out grow using other culture to validate yourself, unfortunately, this is what all these people do. |
