I am more of like in the same situation now. I bought a new domain name and found out it was an expired domain.

Now the issue is this domain name has got some backlinks to it and from what I have seen, the links have been excluded on my Google search console.

OP pls my question is being that those links are excluded, what does it really mean, does it mean that those links have been declared no follow and Google is not going to let them pass juice?

Bro, please I have a music blog and it is an expired domain I unknowingly bought and registered. I set everything up for GSC and after some weeks, some of my stuff started showing on Google. The thing now is my site has 87 crawl errors according to GSC and most are images that have no issue. And from the figure under the report graph, google actually claim that the errors from them and not me, I have actually requested for validation and am waiting for a response, do you think the glitch could affect my blog because my posts still take over ten days to be indexed on Google Search Engine and the blog has been up since March 7th.

It is a music blog, what SEO tactics can you recommend, and i have not got quality backlinks.

Do as Sard advised on the other thread. My advice buy reviews on all your gigs and create videos for them to rank easier to be seen. You need to keep bidding on the Buyers Request till you are chosen but clients need to see someone has patronized you before them. No one wants to be guinea pig. All the best.

You must do it on PC not the app. On the menu of options looking for "Selling'. So you can create your first gig and there are quick explainer videos of every stage you are. Try to download it.
