SportsWe Don't Want Mikel Obi - Anzhi Makhachkala by nini1(op): 10:33am On Feb 26, 2012
Russian Premier League club, Anzhi Makhachkala has declared that they are uninterested in the Chelsea midfielder, John Mikel Obi.

Mikel who has been out of favour at Stamford Bridge this season has reportedly attracted interest from the super rich Russians but Anzhi say they have no interest in prising the 24 year old from Stamford Bridge.

The Nigeria international was quoted as saying that he was considering the possibility of signing for the Russian club after growing unhappy at his lack of playing time at the English Premier League side.

However, Vice President of Anzhi, Herman Chistyakov says the club’s interest in the player is at best imaginary as they have no intention of signing him.

"After a few days we get bored of these ridiculous statements in the media," Anzhi vice-president Herman Chistyakov said.

Despite having the former Chelsea Manager, Guus Hiddink at the helm of affairs at the club, the Anzhi number two claims ‘nobody at the club’ knows Mikel.

"Nobody at this club knows anything about this player, we are not in contact with him."

Anzhi finalized a deal for Blackburn defender Christopher Samba as the Russian transfer window slammed shut on Friday.

Mikel has made 14 appearances for Chelsea in the Barclays English Premier League this season.

SportsStephen Keshi Release Six Home Players by nini1(op): 2:17am On Feb 25, 2012
That effectively rules out the players from those who are likely to make the trip to Kigali when Nigeria face Rwanda in a 2012 Afcon qualifier on February 29.

Keshi told the released players that they will be recalled for two upcoming friendly matches being planned by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in April.

The released players are Henry Uche (Enyimba), Uche Oguchi, Kingsley Salami and Kabir Umar (Heartland), Precious Osasco Omoma (Sunshine Stars) and Daniel Essien Etor (Niger Tornadoes).

Keshi said the decision to release the players was done reluctantly.

“It was a painful decision, but it must be done for the sake of the nation and because we have our brothers coming from Europe, but it’s not to say the players are not good, they are very okay and we’ll call upon them soon again when we have friendlies lined up for the national team,” Keshi said.

The players have since left camp for their respective clubs and Keshi said he would continue to monitor their activities.

Meanwhile, the 16 players left in camp trained on Friday morning.

NPL Players Still in Camp:

Chigozie Agbim, Okiemute Odah, Godfrey Oboabona, Juwon Oshaniwa, Papa Idris, Azubuike Egwuekwe, Gabriel Reuben, Uche Ossai, Sunday Mba, Bartholomew Ibenegbu, Barnabas Imenger, Obinna Nwachukwu, Izu Azuka, Ejike Uzoenyi, Solomon Jabason, Uche Kalu

SportsTaiwo Passes Milan Medical by nini1(op): 1:52pm On May 19, 2011
The Nigeria international will complete a move to Italy over the summer, once his contract at Marseille comes to an end.
He will be charged with the task of filling the problematic left-back spot in Milan, with the Rossoneri having struggled in that area since the legendary Paolo Maldini hung up his boots.
Taiwo is confident he can handle the pressure which will be placed upon him and insists he had no hesitation in penning a three-year contract with the Serie A champions.
Proud

"This is a very, very big club and I am proud to be coming here," he said.
"When you visit the club you understand its culture and everything that comes with being a Milan player.
"Now everything is done I can relax and go on holiday.
"I will then return knowing that I have the chance to prove myself in the same position held by the greatest left-back football has ever seen, Paolo Maldini."

SportsOsaze Admits: I Need A Break by nini1(op): 1:40pm On May 18, 2011
Nigerian and West Brom striker Peter Odemwingie is going to consult with Albion’s medical team to establish a summer fitness programme after admitting he needed a break.
The Nigeria international is not due to pack away the boots that have fired 15 goals in the Baggies’ best Premier League campaign until the second week in June, because of a promise to play in a testimonial for a former Albion forward, Nwankwo Kanu.

Odemwingie said: “I have international duty to prepare for as soon as the Premier League season is over. We’ve got a prestige friendly against Argentina and then a qualifying game against Ethiopia. That is on June 5. After that I have to play in Kanu’s game in Lagos on June 11. It’s not a serious game but Roy Hodgson wants us back by July 4. I need to get to the beach because it’s been a couple of years since I’ve had the chance to do that. I need a nice break but I need to see the medical people here to see how best to go through the summer, or what there will be of it.”

The Albion favourite is determined to keep up his level of fitness which he reveals has improved as his season has gone on, after initial injury problems coping with the demands of the Premier League.

He said: “It’s a difficult league to play in. Very physical, very fast. You don’t have much time on the ball at all, the teams press a lot but I think I have been lucky, playing the type of football which suits me. When I arrived I spoke with the gaffer at the time, Roberto Di Matteo, about how I would play and it became clear to me the system was similar to the one I played in with Lille. I said ‘yes.’

“I’ve felt good physically, my endurance levels have definitely been raised. That’s why I feel physically good. More energy will give me extra chances to score. I now feel strong enough to cope with the intensity of football in this division.”

Odemwingie, a £2million signing from Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow, will also hope to agree an improved contract with Albion in recognition to his major contribution to the campaign.

And the 29-year-old does not foresee problems, saying that all the signals from the Hawthorns hierarchy are “positive.”

SportsVictor Moses Set For Nigeria Bow by nini1(op): 4:11pm On Mar 21, 2011
England Under-21 striker ready for Super Eagles
Victor Moses has finally confirmed his international allegiance is now with Nigeria.
Moses is an England Under-21 international, but the Super Eagles have long been trying to persuade him to switch to their colours.

Now the 20-year-old has decided to play for the country of his birth.
His agent Tony Finnigan confirmed to skysports.com that Moses had made his decision.
"Victor has accepted the Nigeria call-up, and everyone at Wigan is fully behind him, which is important," Finnigan told skysports.com.

"Victor is linking up with the squad ahead of their game with Ethiopia and is really looking forward to playing for Nigeria."
Nigeria have confirmed that they have been able to bring Moses into their squad.
"We have called up Moses for this weekend's match against Ethiopia after we made a couple of changes in the squad," said Nigeria assistant coach Simon Kalika.
Onuoha
Nigeria are still hopeful of persuading other English-based players to make the switch, including Shola Ameobi and Nedum Onuoha.
"Onouha is a fantastic defender and very soon he and the chief coach would have a good meeting and we will start from there," Kalika disclosed.
"It was just a communication problem between the player and the chief coach and so in the end he wasn't able to discuss with Onuoha.
"But I am sure that he is proud to be a Nigerian and very soon he will signify his intention to join the team."

PoliticsRe: Pa Anthony Enahoro Is Dead by nini1: 11:40am On Dec 15, 2010
THEWILL) - Foremost Nationalist Chief Anthony Enahoro, 87, has died, THEWILL can report.

Details of his death are still sketchy but a family member has confirmed that he died in Benin City this morning at about 1 am. His wife was with him when he passed.

The first republic federal legislator, who moved the motion for Nigeria’s independence in 1957, was admitted at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital in November, this year following an acute diabetic condition known as diabetic ketosis or hyperosmolar ketosis. This condition occurs when the sugar level in the blood is excessively high and out of control.

He was discharged a few days later to continue recuperating in his residence but the elder statesman apparently was not able to fully recover.

According to Pa Enahoro’s case file which THEWILL was granted exclusive access to in November, Enahoro’s condition was critical when he was admitted at the hospital’s ICU. “Patient was sweating, had difficulty with breathing and was generally disoriented,” a physician wrote.

The second complication doctors observed was that he had ‘generalized infection in his blood stream’ called sepsis. Sepsis is a severe illness in which the bloodstream is overwhelmed by bacteria. Doctors also observed that he had malaria parasite++.

A statement from the family is being awaited.

May his soul rest in Peace.

^^Good development there.

Pls if you love her and you believe in her dont let anyone (family or not ) convince you to leave her. Remember, it is your life/home, none of them will live with you.

The only way to convince your family is to tell them how much you love and believe in her, they might not buy it now. but i believe with time they will. Good luck!
Thank you, but i thought you don't beleive my story smiley

Hi all,
quite some time right? A lot has happen since then, after some issues and problems we are planning to do our introduction very soon.
The secret is finally out to both members of the family, she told someone she trust in her family and the woman blow everything open and i thank God she did. the woman told the elderly people in her family and they called me to tell my family too wish i did, they summon the Pastor with both family in attendance, they ask him, he did not deny, they told him to tell are family too and should go and retrieve the kids from motherless home and he must take good care of them and also he should tell the appropriate people in is church or else they will arrest him and help him tell all the people that need to know themselves.

But the issue i'm having now is the problem with my own family especially my sister and immediate brother, they said i can killed for hiding such things from them for more than a year, they are trying to convince me not to marry the lady but i still love her and i have our senior brother support, what can i do to convince my brother and sister?
Also the family of the lady support her well and they asked me if i still love her and i said i still want the relationship to continue, and told them we want to do our introduction before the end of this month, but they said i should go and think about it first before we choose date. please help, i will aprreciate your advice.

Thank you all.

I could have give you people the name of the Pastor, the church even his phone number but i will not do that 'cos i don't want to blackmail him but the bible say whosoever cover is sin shall not prosper, so its between him and God if he make the confession.
The Pastor is a well known person to me, he didn't deny the incident and he felt remorseful, he knows about every things, he even help us in getting the orphanage home. When there is too much closeness between Pastor and a female church member is too dangerous because they are human beings too and devil can test and use them too.

The pastor help her when she don't have anywhere to stay then, at least she live with them in the church more than a year before they transfer the pastor and such things didn't happen as far as i known then, He is a married man with children and he is the one of the pastor that i respect and still respect him so its left for him and God to reconcile.

The problem now is that my G.F is emotionally attached to the babies, she only talk about them, she called the orphanage thrice or more than in a day, i feel jealous 'cos she don't give me attention like before, i told her my mind she said is not easy to forget about them, that they are only her gains for all the pains she went through i feel for her, she wept uncontrollable when i told her to forget about them for now and try to be focus about her study. our introduction is next month but  i just don't know how to make her happy like before again, she is not herself again, she called herself after two, fairly use and all sort but i always told her that my love for is still strong even more than before.

Pls i don't post here cos of financial help as some people are insinuating and for those who call me lier and all sort i pray such never happen to you.

"Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven" (Luke 6:37).

Nah wah for you people self, where una see for my post say we want sell the babies, they are God gift to us, we are not selling them, we are just looking for reputable family to adopt them or good orphanage home to put them so that we can even reclaim them later when we settle down. some time self advice no good, they can scatter someone head.
To those who ask what if mishap happens, we told someone we can trust in her family.

@Siena i'm telling the truth, what will i gain in lying and i'm not here for financial help so why should i lied, I just want her back in Lagos before July ending before the one year course elapse thats why i post here in the fear we may not get orphanage home before then but I thank God we get one at last, Kogi state Orphanage home at Lokoja, she is still with them there, she will leave there this weekend.

Thank you all.
