Was thinking of Akpabio some days ago. Look at the dent in his image. This was the same governor that transformed Akwa Ibom. His name now is being dragged any how.

The Nigerian politics have really murdered a lot of personalities.

If someone told me he will not resign when terrible elections were conducted as as the chairman of the ruling party l would have argued then.

I can just picture him on Workers' day then. I really expected so much from him.

There are very few people since 1999 that can say they have fought for Nigerians like Oshiomole did as NLC president.

It was when l was seeing elections that even a primary 3 child will judge as flawed under his watch that was when l started loosing respect for him.

Parents struggle to correct their children because they can't provide for them.

Poverty is a terrible thing.

Who can break the issues of Nigeria down to pieces and understand it and proffer practical solutions to them.

Today, a lot of families are living in abject poverty. Distracted by issues of providing for their families and no mental space to think about patriotism.

They don't have the mental space at all. When they have not eaten. Dealing with so many issues without the help of government. We need leaders who are intellectually sound.

The family builds the society and the society feeds Leadership with leaders. Parents have a patriotic role to play in this nation building.

NEWACADEMY:
The parents of that little child should serve as an example to other parents. We should work towards putting patriotism into our children at a very young age.

While we should keep putting pressure on our leaders, we should also play our role as parents.

One of the reasons why our youth are going fast astray is because we don't have sound heroes they look up to.

One of the issue we are having as a society is the lack of true heroes. Children love stories with strong characters. If we want to infuse patriotism in children that will urgently need to do, we must tell them about like heroines like Tolu.

Tolu story has Spider-Man and superman rolled into one.

We talk about past heroes to our children ( great respect to them ) and they struggle to even understand their dressing when you show them picture. Someone like Tolulope is a heroine that children of today can connect with in so many ways.

Her parents should be commended. Adults and other children will watch this and draw some inspiration from it too.

For me that is not even the point. The point is the parents told her about Tolulope and she got inspired. She felt the Nigerian state.

Certainly, some touches here and there by the parents but l don't see any fake there. You will be shocked at what children in good schools in Nigeria can do.

Soon paid sycophants will come and defend them and tell us that it is okay to borrow as far as you are investing. Is this how you run your family?

You are borrowing so much money and you are still borrowing more in the name of Nigeria. You are not even thinking of generating wealth. Even in Covid 19 pandemic. You are taxing us more and more.

They don't have ideas. The only idea they have is to go to Abuja to collect money.

That's why they run away from debates.

It is too much free money. If you are the one working to get the money. No matter how much it is, you will most likely manage it well.
