]My people, Something really terrible just occurred now. I have dated my girlfriend for about 6 months, she is the most open individual I've ever met... She has told me most of her secrets. She is a very beautiful and intelligent girl and what really made us thick is that I was there when she had seizures in the past. To the issue, She answered a call today and I felt suspicious and I decided to confront her immediately, but as she was trying to explain, I cut in and acted with mistrust and accusations that I suspect cheating. This was a major catalyst and it triggered her seizure. I started apologizing immediately to calm her down, she passed out for some minutes after she tried to use her clothes to suffocate herself. She woke up irritated and I asked her to explain what is happening in her social world. She said it was really nothing and that she feels I don't trust her that's why she reduced telling me personal stuff. That there is no connection between her and the guy. She said she has forgiven me but she has to leave my house that moment. I asked that I drop her but she refused and packed her belongings that has been here. She later accepted that I'd drop her because I could not stand the shame of her going alone but my car battery decided to die and she eventually entered bike home. She left by saying she needs space but I feel I've lost her because I'll be once guilty of inducing her seuzures. Ladies and gentlemen, red pillers, kindly advice me on how to handle this issue. N:B kindly put into consideration that she is really emotional and her peculiar challenge. I so doubt that you really get the right words you yearn for here. You know your girl more than anybody in this forum so if I am you, I will follow my feelings and not emotions. I do wish you well with any action you wish to employ. |
NO LAW PROHIBITS ESTABLISHMENT OF AMOTEKUN — AFE BABALOLA Law & Human Rights By Afe Babalola, SAN THE Attorney General of the Federation was reported to have declared the regional community security outfit (Amotekun) illegal. I disagree with the Attorney General. On the contrary, it is absolutely constitutional and legal. The issue of Amotekun is an issue of Public Safety and Protection of property. There is no law in Nigeria which prevents citizens from being able to secure their lives and properties. Indeed without protecting the right to life and property, no other right can be exercised as one has to be alive to enforce other rights as guaranteed in the Constitution. The Nigeria Police does not enjoy exclusive jurisdiction when it comes to the protection of lives and property. As a matter of fact, in many parts of Nigeria, various outfits such as Civilian JTF, Hisbah Police, Vigilantes have been performing the duty of protecting lives and properties. There is nowhere in the Police Act where a citizen is prohibited from being vigilant to protect his life or property either personally or together with other citizens. Citizens of Nigeria have always enjoyed a right to effect what is known as a citizens arrest where any person is found to have committed an offence before handover to the police for prosecution. In addition, private citizens also may in certain circumstances prosecute persons who have committed crimes. Thus in Part V of the Criminal Code Act S.275 which provides as follow: “it is lawful for any person who witnesses a breach of the peace to interfere to prevent the continuance or renewal of it, and to use such force as is reasonably necessary for such prevention and is reasonably proportioned to the danger to be apprehended from such continuance or renewal, and to detain any person who is committing or who is about to join in or to renew the breach of the peace for such time as may be reasonably necessary in order to give him into the custody of a peace officer or police officer…”. A communal reading of sections S.272/273 Criminal Code will reveal that: a person may arrest a person who has committed an offence and prevent his escape. Neither the constitution in Sections 214-216 nor the Police Act in Section 10 gives the Police an exclusive duty to secure lives and properties. All the above support the establishment of the Amotekun which has been established to give an official teeth to the provision of the Criminal Code which allows private citizens to arrest and detain offenders and bandits and to hand them over to the police. Given the provisions of the Criminal Code in Sections 272-275, the right of citizens to arrest any person for committing an offence is legal and may be exercised individually or communally. In any event, the regional community security outfit known as Amotekun cannot be set aside by oral pronouncement by the Attorney General or any other body. Only the Court of Law can declare the establishment illegal. - VanguardNgr |

[quote author=livebyday post=85118599]Okay Hello All This thread was created in response to a scam post in which @ Nostradamus tagged me. My condolences to the victim but here's the reality Investigation and tracking costs huge funds, now except you are a family members unfortunately these amounts are too negligible for any serious agency to get bothered with had it been you where scammed of very large amounts then it's a different case. Hence most victims are stuck with the NPF as the only platform for assistance. I think if I recall the EFCC only get involved when it's 5 million upwards. Here's a few pointers to other members 1. If you get an sms from a website asking you to click or visit or register please do not click except you where in the process of setting up some sort of profile online and they sent you a code via SMS. 2. These scam sms will come in form of konga.com, davido.com, lol.com, kok.com , Or your package has been shipped, or an SMS from Amazon when you know you didn't make a purchase or wining codes and bet tips . Infact last week there was this syndicate who send out sms to victims with Koran verses and links to online readings , this is how smart these criminals have become!. 3. Why do they do this? Once you click the links your phone has been compromised, they will view every single sms you send or receive, they will view every single password you enter on your phone and they will read all your WhatsApp Facebook and any instant.messenger chats on your phone. Any password you enter on your phone they will get it ...hence why you hear people cry that their WhatsApp of Facebook was hacked and they frankly can't remember ever sharing details or logging in anywhere else but their phone. 4. So to be safe once you get such sms don't open them just delete them...infact there have been cases where they use this system for kidnappings and ransome withdrawals. 5. Never I repeat never share your mobile number carelessly!! 6. Becareful the websites where you enter your number for registration, if you have a second number that you don't use for financial transactions use that one.imstead. 7. Very important: the number you use for Bank transfers , please never use it in an internet enabled phone, better purchase a feature phone like Nokia torch that has no internet facility, so if by error your child clicks the sms they can't get your data except you dare connect online. Like my main banking number is in an old.school Nokia 3310 while my other numbers are in smart phones. 8. Irrespective of your os Android or Apple this hackers can get all your information, and it cannot be patched because the same system used in tracking BOKOHARAM and kidnappers is what they have gotten and now use for fraud. 9. Don't be too alarmed as just follow the safety tips I shared and you should be relatively safe 10. Also if you get repeated flashing form +235 +233 +232 or some.number in the West Indies and such please don't call back.. I hope this post helps someone .. I know the criminals won't like this but surely and slowly we closing in on you guys. My dear a great thanks to you for this information. The No10 happened to me this morning. I did pick up so I don't know what's next. |
