Lol. You are waiting for a return fire. Hahaha. That won't happen sir. I'm too civilized to be throwing words at unknown people. Its a small world you know cheesy

Its either you didn't read or you did not understand my post. Whatever the case, you didn't have to insult me because our opinions differ. I never said or implied that they are cheats. If you will, read my post again, this time, slowly and carefully.

Lace it up with my signature. Thanks
Spare me your civility claim......civility indeed.....your mindset abt their age let u out.

Lol. Morality covers all aspects of life including sports. Not everyone cheats or simulates in order to win. One's principles should cut across all walks of life and not that I drop some principles when i'm about to do some things and apply them when i'm about to do others. I've really learnt a lot from people like Strive Masiyiwa. Our principles should be in totality and not compromise when faced with certain circumstances. That's the bedrock of a strong character.
Chai nawa for uo....You and your christian views.....funny enough No sport uses or applies Christian principle in winning....jst tak it or leave it......

OK, I think I get you. The argument is between legality and morality which I think you support the former. I however take morality about legality any day anytime.

I initially didn't want to share some personal experiences but I know one of the guys (now in super eagles) who was recruited as a mercenary to play for my secondary school at shell cup then. I was in ss3 and I was 15 years yet these guys were recruited to jss3 and were called 13 years. Even those of us in ss3 usually call them egbon. They won the shell cup and 3 years after I saw this guy representing at under 17 world cup. Now he is a super eagles player. Though he was accepted legally by fifa (there was no MRI era then), I don't feel justified to celebrate their victory cos I know the story.
Hmmm Pastor....how do u explain my own case whereby i was 13 when i got enrolled into Jss 1?.........I think d age is still permissible.....there is nothing perfect in this world and no one is perfect........I'm sure you are speaking from your religious inclination and indoctrination which does not have anytin to do with sport......Morality and sport : wher is the link?.....Besides, football is a sport whose major edge on opponent is based on falsehood...e.g players are expected to lie to simulate fouls and injury in order to earn corners , throw in, penalty , freekicks etc......falsehood is part of the game its an integral practice and culture of the game just to earn advantage. ......So ur morality is better used in a perfect world and in church not in sport that accept morality within the context and yardstick of their rules and regulation....not on biblical or any religious principle...thank you.

My point is why would people compare our 2009 boys with players like Isco, Neymar, Munain, Morata, Gotze, who were already established youngsters and were bound to become Super Stars.
No body is bound to be super star in football...it is the system they found themselves and the opportunity availed to them by their country and club dat distinguish them....they are not a better talent compare to our boys....if they passed through the same challenge and harsh circumstances our boys passed through they woulnt be anyway better......their destiny would av taken a different path

I'm not judgmental, I only hold out for the truth even if I am the one affected but a lot of Nigerians think speaking the truth is being hypocritical. You're not the first one to call me a hypocrite cos I made a stand for righteousness even though they know nothing about me about me or my intentions. It just makes me sad about this country and the moral decay we have fallen into. You did not state whether what I said was the truth or not, you just concluded that I must definitely be a hypocrite. It's just so sad that things are looking very bleak for this nation.
Things will continue to look bleak if we cant understand and appreciate that the boys are legally eligible to compete since they are certified by the scan.....all errors by the scan av been reviewed and are within permissible margin as stipulated by FIFA....so whats our problem with over flogging truthfulness and rigteousness in a secular football competition that gives room for a permissible level of age error......

If the growth plate areas (epiphyses) are still open then
the player is still within the age limit of 17 because
research shows that players with growth plates yet
to fuse at the wrists are 99% super-likely or most certainly 17 or
less. The likelihood of such a one being 18 or more
is 1% (due to rare biological variations).

I wonder where these guys are even getting their 18% margin error from.
Abi.....even at dat....even if we assume it is 18%.......i Wonder why dey keep crying foul instead of pointing accusing fingers at FIFA and MRI scan....deir bad belle is out of dis world.

18 percent margin for error is not "scientifically proven". If you are that dull let me explain it to you. It means in our squad, their is a chance that 18 percent of the boys could be over aged. Clear enough?
IF FIFA accepts18% margin for error....so whats your cry for?.... why not invent a superior technology that wil not permit any chance for error.

I pity this nation. Seems integrity is no longer a virtue in Nigeria. OP, how can you try to justify dishonesty on the basis of patriotism. Even if others do it, does not mean we should encourage our own to do so also. You mentioned dignity in your last paragraph, do you know the meaning of that word at all? I always support my country, family and society but not when they achieve things through dishonest means. My father and I don't get along cos he is corrupt and abused his office as a civil servant, even up till now, I cannot vote for him in an election cos I know he is corrupt, does that mean I don't love him? No! But there are some of us who still value the word integrity.

I will gladly support our under aged teams even if we concede 10 goals per match and we play with honesty cos I know we did not cheat. There is nothing called DIGNITY when our INTEGRITY has been thrown to the wind.
YOU are a fool for this ur holines crap.

Lets keep deceiving ourselves. I don't hate or wants the team to do bad. Sentiments re the bane of our football development. Those guys that won the world cup are not under 17. I mean non of them is below 20 including the top scorer whom i know very well at Oregun.
When Adokiye Amiesimaka raised alarm on a certain player who was almost 35 the NFF took to the same under age competition providing facts to back his allegation since he was TM then in Sharks. People like the OP called all sort of name.
Lets continue eating our cake and foolishly think we can have it back.
You are a disgrace to common sense and rational thinking...if having read several post analysing every ground of their sucess and still come here to cry poo of age..it means uar senseless.....why not go to FIFA to complain and ridicule their age verification technology...idiot...yes ...you think they are not 17....but FIFA said they are...u can go and die or invent your own technology of verifying age that is superior to MRI scan..idiot.....

OP, There is no justification for cheating. Culture shock o, poverty mentality o, etc hold no water. Everyone of us face different challenges daily! Should we all use it as an excuse to cheat?! Does it justify cheating?!

When we catch armed robbers, we all usually jump at their justice, screaming "lock the behind bars, forever". However, get to interview those guys and they will tell you pitiful tales. Most of them bread winners even from craddle. But no, we don't give in to their tales!

If any Nigerian citizens is called out for cheating on age, exam etc, why should we give excuses on their behalf? Oh, because he is representing the country, because he is a politician, no because he is an orphan, no he is our own -son of the soil mentality. Those excuses are baseless. A cheat is a cheat! And because other people or other countries are doing it, doesn't make it right.

Except you are saying that the accusations are false, then I can reason with you. Tell us that the boys are their right ages. Tell us that the initial post was malicious lies created to dent out National image, tell us that they passed through age-scanning tests, then I can listen. Otherwise, you don't have to attack the messenger and leave the message! That is dishonesty too.

However, what I will not do is to come openly in such a platform and castigate our own.

You may not agree with me but that's the truth.
NO apology reserved for idiots like you....you are one of the unpatriotic fools denting the image of this country without any reasonable or meaningful contribution to progress it.....idiot......what are u preaching??....Righteousness??....Hypocritic fool...i wil keep insulting you until you relinquish ur holier than thou attitude.....and before ur exchange of attack begins...cos i'm ready for u...Tell me which cheat was caught and who caught the cheat......ode oponu.

More women than men sleep with their pets

Consumer Reports News: August 30, 2012 10:08 AM
Seventy percent of women and 57 percent of men admit to
sleeping with their pets, according to a recent survey of 1,313
Consumer Reports subscribers who owned a cat or dog (or
both). Women are also a lot more likely to sign cards with a
pet's name or picture, and give holiday gifts to Rover and
Garfield. Both men and women like to show off their furry friends.
Almost a third of pet owners surveyed have posted their pet's
pictures on social media sites. And love for pets is boundless
for both genders. An equal number of men and women said,
"Money is no object" when asked to pick an amount they would
spend if a pet needed lifesaving treatment. More women than men sleep with their pets
