Please there was a power failure why trying to upgrade a tiger T8 hd decoder with generator. when the power was restore the decoder did not power up. There was no indication that the decoder was on even when plug to a power outlet and switch on. Please any solution

I had a similar experience with that decoder called Tiger T8hd. Infact, i regret buying it my brother. It's nothing but toy. The component are poorly built which is below par for the African market. In my case it was not even an issue of upgrade, the decoder just went off while watching never to power on again. i was relaxed at first thought at worst it can't be more than power issue. On getting to my technician, he fixed it and i was happy, my decoder was back to life. Little did i know that the joy will be short-lived, on getting home i powered it on nd connected the cable Alas! the tuner could not receive any signal. The most painful aspect is that the decoder is less than 3wks. I'm yet to see anyone who has the board or i.c e.t.c to fix it. Every other thing is functioning but no signal. It was a bitter experience!

I solved similar problem by repositioning d dilectric plate by ensuring it directly opposite to d it‘s 1st position when d polarization z “V“ -just do little shift of it 2 both left & ryt it might help but try with 22 if possible

Eldorado, i couldn't nail it even with 82-83% on 3800 H 20000 using srt4669 model. Sp24 refuse to pop out, Maybe its a technical problem or our Gurus on the sat could shed more light on it.

My Jack can't reach ses6 because it's not super heavy duty. So, I have actually not tried it. For cband lnb skew, I always use 9 o'clock, though it depends on the sat I want to prioritise in the setup. For Ku-Band 9 or 3 o'clock, again it depends on my priority. I am in Onitsha, so my MTN on 66E is poor, it difficult with 2.4 here.

@ Chinedu, for the skewness of the LNB, which position(O'clock) is better for both ku nd Cband for motorised set-up jst has ur case? secondly, do you receive ses 6 in the west nd what percentage is ur SP24 on NSS 12 to the east? Thanks.
