Thanks a lot bro.
bellong:
@Nisi,

The evidence should be in writing. What they mean by not lifting website is that some just quite from webpage verbatim. Put it in your words, add that enquiries from friends encouraged you.

You can talk about the weather, it is a tropical area, you can say it is similar to what is obtainable in your country and with this, you wouldn't have issues with serious cold during winter.

This two points are requirements for NT nomination pls my people, can u help me and explain what is expected in this two scenarios because I am stuck and time is of essence.
1, Evidence that you have undertaken detailed research into living and working in the NT that demonstrates you have a realistic knowledge of the environment you are planning on migrating to including climate, relocation costs, living expenses (for example, food, utilities, rent), and accommodation costs to settle in the NT. (This evidence should include a narrative explaining your reasons for wanting to migrate to the NT. Extracts from websites that are copied and pasted into your submission will not be accepted).
Question-what do they mean by evidence? How do I get about it?
2, A statement documenting your commitment to the NT. You must provide a Commitment to the NT Statement (no more than two pages) demonstrating your commitment to living and working in your skilled occupation (or a closely related skilled occupation) in the NT for a minimum of two (2) years from when the visa is granted. The statement should:
• Explain, in your own words, why you want to live in the NT.
• Explain how the NT lifestyle would suit your way of life more than that of any other city in Australia.
• Provide evidence that you have personally researched NT lifestyle, employment opportunities and attractions.
• Provide evidence that you have researched the availability of housing, cost of living (for example, rent, food, transport, utilities, etc) and that you have a realistic understanding of the costs involved upon arrival in the NT and while you seek employment.
• Provide evidence of your employability in the NT with your particular qualifications and employment experience.
Simply providing copied information from the internet or another source will not be considered sufficient evidence of your commitment to living in the NT and may be cause for refusa

Question-whats the difference between 1 & 2 and how do I get about this without quoting a website since am in naija.
Thanks

bellong:
With 189, you don't need sponsorship from any state. It is independent skilled visa, if you meet up to 60 points, you can fill in the EOI immediately.
Sorry, i mixed it up... My bad. I mean 190 all along. So with 190 i have 60 but with 489 it will be 65.Do i apply for both in my EOI to have better chance of ITA with NT Or do I Just do 190.

OmogeNG:
Yes you can. But why 489?
Actually with 189,my points will be 60 bt with 489,my points is 65. Now which one gives me a better chance of getting ITA from NT.

Please read through the last few pages. A lot of changes have been effected on the Canadian Immigration program and from your analysis above, you obviously haven't been in tune with the changes.

Also, read through this link like a "textbook" after which you can come on here to ask questions http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp
thanks a lot

Good Evening house, I have been following this thread and I must confess that the tips here are very powerful...kudos to damkollins, solomonwis and lots of you that i cant mention.

i am interested in applying for EE,my Noc is 3211 and am about writing ielts.

1,is my Noc eligible this time because it wasn't in the last FSWP?

2,is ECA evaluation enough or do i have to also get assessment from Canadian society of medical lab science just like they do in oz EE.

3,is it advisable to apply for EE both oz and canada.

4,my wife is planning to start her Msc in uk this september, how will it affect submission of her passport,Pcc etc when the time reach and also must she write Ielts and do ECA as I am the principal applicant
