Business / Everyone Should Be Making Money On Social Media by nitiresources(m): 6:05pm On Dec 05, 2019
If time, as they say, is money, why is everyone who spends some time on social media not making money from it?

“Reward for passion” is BetNaija slogan. They said they are rewarding football lovers for their passion for football. So I thought, how can those who are passionate about social media get a monetary reward just like BetNaija.

I know those who gets rewarded by BetNaija and other betting company like Nairabet, BetWay, BetKing, etc stake some money before they get rewarded. But it’s also true too that spending time on social media is not free either; we use data and data cost money, so we should be rewarded too.

So what should be done and how can everyone start earning money from the time they spend on social media?

To answer this question, I came up with a website www.startersng.com that allows businesses who are looking for opportunities to sell their products and services online to do so while giving those who spend time on social to media to share those products and services to their social media pages and get paid up to 15% commission from the sales of the product or service they shared. This is a WIN-WIN.

Theben:
On the website, people are advised to participate with their spare money. If you follow the rules, and you participate with the money you can afford to lose, you have nothing to worry about. Mmm Nigeria started last year and until this moment, no one can ever claim he has lost his money.

No one will lose money until it crashes dear. And on your statement about warning on the site, you and I know that only greedy and ignorant people invest in Ponzi schemes and this being the case they will keep increasing their investment until their greed catches up with them. Good luck to you guys.

Investment / Re: CBN Warns Nigerians Against “MMM”, Calls It Wonder Bank by nitiresources(m): 10:58am On Sep 16, 2016
In 2015 MMM began operating in South Africa with the same business model as MMM-2011, claiming a "30% per month" return through a "social financial network".[3] The group was identified as a possible pyramid scheme by the National Consumer Commission and accounts of clients were later frozen by Capitec Bank.[4] In response to mounting criticism and official investigations by state authorities in 2016 supporters of the South African MMM scheme staged a protest march in Johannesburg.[5]

In 2016, MMM launched a website targeting the Nigerian audience.[6]

In January 2016 the Chinese government banned MMM on the grounds that it is a pyramid scheme, (Ponzi scheme), and it is not registered in the country (and as a fraudulent scheme cannot be registered).[7]

Full details from https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/MMM_(Ponzi_scheme_company)

shogat:
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has warned Nigerians to be careful of any deposit money institution that is not insured by the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) especially the trending MMM Nigeria community.

The bank through its the acting Director of Corporate Communications, Mr. Isaac Okoroafor, made this known yesterday against the proliferation of wonder banks in the country in recent times.

Okoroafor said such deposit money institutions were dubious present Ponzi schemes.

“At times like this when the economy has suffered some decline, Nigerians should be very careful with those they deal with. Any institution that is not licensed by the CBN to accept deposits should not be given money to keep under any guise,” he advised.

He warned Nigerians to beware of the so-called wonder banks, explaining that they were makeshift institutions to dupe people.

“We can vouch for the banking system. The deposit money banks are the only licensed institutions to take deposits. If you need to deposit money in any form, go to any of the deposit money banks and put your money, you can buy fixed income instruments or invest in stocks,” he said.

Okoroafor said the CBN could not guarantee the unregistered institutions, insisting that when depositors lose money to them, the bank would not be able to help them.

“These people always come with very interesting propositions. These are fraudsters who are just out there to collect people’s money and run away as soon as they hit their target. There is no insurance because the NDIC does not even protect them against such risks when they occur,” the CBN said.

He said the CBN was intensifying efforts and liaising with the various security agencies to identify the promoters of these schemes and have such persons arrested and prosecuted, adding that anyone caught with them would also be made to face the law.

Promoters of wonder banks and other pyramid schemes in the country are currently taking advantage of the rising level of unemployment as well as the shrinking disposable income to attract unsuspecting prey.

From Lagos to Port Harcourt and some other big cities in the country, owners of these illegal businesses have been offering Nigerians mouth-watering interest rates, which cannot be found in the banking system, in a bid to attract large number of customers before they run away with huge cash.

For instance, at the Ojuelegba area of Lagos, THISDAY was recently given a small handbill advertising investment schemes that offers 30 per cent returns in 30 days.

Also, there is a new Ponzi scheme called ‘MMM’ that is spreading like wildfire. A lot of young school leavers have already signed on to this scheme, which the promoters are marketing as a “mutual fund.”

“MMM offers its participants 30 per cent growth rate per month for each and every donation they make into the system… MMM belongs to the community, its sustainability depends on the activities of the people that make up the MMM Nigeria community, that is me and you and other MMM Nigeria participants,” the promoters wrote in an online advertisement.

Typically, what promoters of such pyramid scheme do is that they offer rates far beyond what is obtainable in commercial banks. This would always attract a lot of people who would always rush in to stake their funds. But, those who join the scheme late would always be the ones to lose their shirts as they would have been convinced by those that joined earlier to invest huge amounts of money.

But experts have warned against falling for the bait of illegal deposit-taking institutions which are not licensed by the CBN, saying that their only intention is to defraud members of the public.

Recall that with the Nigerian economy is in recession, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) recently revealed that the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) contracted by 2.06 per cent in the second quarter of 2016, compared to the negative growth of 0.36 per cent recorded in the first quarter of 2016.

Also, national unemployment rate also rose to 13.3 per cent in the second quarter of 2016, from 12.1 in the first quarter of 2016.

Business / Invest N150,000 And Earn N50,000 Each Month by nitiresources(m): 5:16pm On Jan 25, 2016
I have been in the Bulk SMS business (www.smsreel.com) for over a year now and I was thinking how else can I do bulk SMS that is unique, different and more rewarding than the conventional ones. Then I came up with an idea on how to use mobile app to do Bulk SMS (which is not new). My idea will give users of the app the opportunity to make as much as N15,000 every month and I can be making over a N100,000 each month after paying the users.

I have Hired a developer to do this app (I call it Mijana. Learn more from www.facebook.com/smsreel) and had paid some money to him but out of cash to pay the developer to finish it. I need N150,000 this week to complete the app as that was my agreement with the developer. I will pay this money back with N35,000 each month for 12 months or N50,000 each month for 6 months.

I currently do a part-time job that I am paid N35,000 monthly. As collateral for your investment, I will put down N25,000 of that amount monthly.

I will need to meet interested investor one on one so only interested investor resident in Abuja should contact me ezekiel[@]smsreel.com. I already have a demo of the app in my phone to show the investor.

Programming / How Can I Get A Developer As A Cofounder? by nitiresources(m): 9:00pm On Sep 01, 2015
I have this idea and had hired a developer outside the country do the mobile app for me which needs some bug fixing but more channels need to be developed and I need someone in Nigeria as a cofounder. The idea is about solving double parking issues in cities of Africa.

This idea I chose to call it Repark (Visit www.repark.com.ng for more detail. Already Applied for Copyright). Repark enables motorists send text message to the driver of another car blocking his car from driving out using the blocking car plate number without revealing his mobile number.

The developer should be able to develop a Short code app with experience in mobile app development.

The developer shall serve as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and shall have 30% of the shares. 35% for me the Chief Operating Officer (COO), 25% for the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and 10% option pool.

Interested developer can contact me on ntesat@gmail.com

Autos / Invest N3m And Get Back N7m by nitiresources(m): 12:02am On Aug 29, 2015
I developed an app call Repark Mobile App© to assist car owners send SMS to the driver of another car blocking his car using the blocking car plate number without revealing his phone number. The blocking car has to be registered though. This service is aimed at car owners in cities like Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja and many other major cities in Africa where double parking is a daily occurrence. We had mapped out how to get the cars registered and shall evolve into many other things as we progress.

BENEFITS OF REPARK
1. This app eliminates the time motorists waste either waiting or go about looking for the driver of the double parked car.
2. With this app, car owners no longer need to expose their phone numbers to car park attendants or by dropping it on their car dashboard at every plaza, mall, market, religious places and other events and points of convergence.
3. Use of Repark shall be free for two of our three channels. Our plan is to have three channels through which car owners can use our services. Two of these channels shall be free while one shall be paid channel.

SOURCES OF INCOME
There are 4 different ways we shall be making money from this product and by our projection, we shall be making over N50m annually in revenue starting from the first year. (Will give further detail on the sources of income and other plans to an interested investor. May be required to sign an NDA)

THE INVESTMENT
We are sourcing for N3m seed fund in return for N7m to
1. Enable us perfect the fully functional Android app and deploy on other platforms
2. Enable us develop the remaining two channels.
3. Enable us pilot in either Lagos or Abuja.
4. Enable us commence sales thereafter.

REPAYMENT
1. To guarantee the recovery of your investment, we shall on a monthly basis, pay 5% of gross income into a special bank account until this N7m is raised. You may wish to withdraw from the account at any time. It's your money.
2. You or one of your representative can work with us on a director level to further protect your interest. This person may be retained even after the contract with you.
3. Investment may be converted to equity on fulfilment of terms.

OTHER FUNDING
As N3m is not enough to fund such project, we shall seek for series of funding within this period and every agreement made with you shall be fully kept. The investor shall be given right of first refusal for further funding

Though I currently reside in Abuja, I will be willing to move to particularly Lagos so as to be close to the investor for proper monitoring should the investor be residing in Lagos.

You can get more detail and download the Android app from our website at www.repark.com.ng

Only Interested investors with cash already available should contact Ezekiel Joshua by email at ntesat@gmail.com

Business / Everything You Need To Start A Successful Business by nitiresources(m): 6:17am On Aug 24, 2015
The best time to plant a coconut tree was 25 years ago and the second best time is now. Don't get caught up in the rat race, register a company now and seek for help on how to run it.

It's being said that only 5% of companies remain in business after the first five years. This worrisome statistics should not discourage you from starting your business as yours have the chance of being among this 5%. Did I hear myself say chance? Yes I did, chance not luck, as in business though you need a little of luck, what is more important is your readiness and willingness to push through. Start a business today with that idea as no matter how fantastic your idea is, it will do no one including you no good until it is birthed either as a business or as a charity.

A successful startup would need all of the following to succeed in today's business world.

A business name or incorporation. In Nigeria, you are free to start your sole business with your name or any other name of your choice without the need to register or incorporate it. However, you will be restricted as you cannot get a bank account in the name of such business. This will limit your success as corporate organisation would not be interested in awarding you contracts knowing they are dealing with just an individual. So you need to have at least a business name registered with CAC.

An eye-catching website. People are so busy in today's information age that they don't have enough time to attend to their personal issues much less another's. With the increasing mobile penetration in Nigeria, many won't even border coming to look for you to know more about what you do except if you are offering a lifesaving service. Get your business online as soon as you can as this is the best medium with which you can tell the world about your products and services.

A bankable business plan. It's a known fact that getting a loan from banks to fund a startup especially a service oriented company is like National Space Research and Development Agency of Nigeria going to the moon. The available and of course rapidly increasing opportunity is investors. But you know what, investors don't just invest in ideas, they invest in people. Your business plan is an explanation of yourself and what you and your team are ready and willing to do with your time, knowledge and available resources. You need a well written business plan with a solid income projection statement to prove to would be investors that there is a high ROI in your business.

A good company profile. A business plan is the document you give to your investors but a company profile is the document you give to your prospective client. Without a viable means of directly informing your prospective client about what you do and who you had served (If any), you will not be able to make sales. A professional company profile will get clients attention to your business before you will put on your sales skill to get conversion from the profile lead.

An aesthetic company ID. There is no second chance to make first impression. Get it right from the start and you will be in for a good project. The first thing people see on you is your wears before they look at your face. The first thing people see about your company is the unique ID, your brand. This is very important and should not be treated lightly.

A good social media platform. You cannot do without the social media platform if you want to succeed in whatever you do today especially if your business has anything to do with reaching a wider audience. Just like real life, people are not so interested in what you offer but how it can benefit them. Creating a social media account and dishing out messages is a good start but you may be surprised to see that this is not yielding the desired result. You need to employ the right keywords to keep your messages before your audience all the time.

Many startups are folded in their first five years but great companies are those who in tick and thorns weathered the storm of business. Life itself is not a bed of roses so is business. Though business can get you any rose bed but this can only happen after much push.

@OP, did you also put into consideration that the person whose number is registered with repark may not necessarily be the one who parked the car? Sometimes, I can use my bro's car, just to pick up something and IT don't want him to know, don't you think your plan will be doing me a disservice?

Then never double park or your brother go catch you. Lol

Autos / Solution To Double Parking by nitiresources(m): 11:46pm On Aug 16, 2015
I was on an urgent visit to see a prospective client in a popular shopping complex in Abuja and to dash out quickly for another appoint. It turned out that I spent a little more time with this client than I planned.

When I was done and got to the parking lot, about three other cars were parked behind my car. There were no park attendants and the security guys were only at the entrance. How on earth can I tell where the drivers went and none even bordered to drop his mobile number on the dashboard. I had to wait and the waiting was about an hour before I could drive out. This I assume is a common sight in major cities of Nigeria particularly in cities like Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, etc.

I decided to come up with a free solution to this challenge and that was when Repark was birthed. Repark now has one of its many channels; the mobile app channel launched. With Repark Mobile App, drivers can now send text message to the driver of another car blocking his car using the blocking car plate number but without revealing his own phone number.

All that is required is to enter the plate number of the blocking car in the app and do a search to know if the car has been registered with Repark. If this car is found, the moment you press the SEND button, the driver of the car will get a test message delivered to his mobile phone. The message is a customized one informing the driver of the need to Repark his car.

Repark Mobile App requires internet to work but you do not need any data subscription to use Repark Mobile App. Just put on your data connection and we assure you, not more than 50kb will be used to register your car or send a Repark SMS except to download this app which is just 504kb in size. This is nothing compare to the frustration double parking could cause.

You may never know when next you will need Repark Mobile App. Download it now to register your car. Downloading Repark Mobile App, registration of cars as well as sending Repark SMS is free. You can download Repark Mobile App from www.repark.com.ng or from Google Play Store

I created this free mobile app to help car owners and drivers send text message to the driver of another car blocking his car without revealing his phone number. To send the text message, what you do is enter the plate number of the car blocking your car and do a search. If that car is registered with the app, the app will tell you to press SEND and the driver of the car will get a text message instantly to come and repark his car.

This app is entirely free and you will not pay anything to download it, register your car or send a repark sms. This app is called Repark Mobile App and you can download it from our website at http://www.repark.com.ng or from Google Play Store. Technology Market / What Do You Think Of Repark Mobile App by nitiresources(m): 8:10pm On Aug 13, 2015
If you have being driving in Nigeria especially in major cities for sometimes now, you either had blocked another person’s car or somebody had block your car. When this happens, you either wait for the driver or go about looking for him. With Repark Mobile App, you no longer do that, all you do is send the driver an SMS using the car plate number and you pay nothing to use this app.

Motorists waste precious man hour almost on a daily basis waiting for or go about looking for the driver of the car hindering him from driving out. This car parking challenge is a common sight in most cities of Nigeria especially at Malls, Markets, Event and Religious places. This challenge is largely due to limited car parking space but in most cases due to lack of proper planning for car parking space.

Repark Mobile App is a car parking assistant app that enables motorists reach the driver of any car blocking his own car via SMS using the blocking car number plate; without going about looking or waiting for the driver. All the driver does is enter the plate number of the blocking car in Repark Mobile App and presses a button and an SMS is delivered immediately to the mobile number of the driver of the blocking car informing him or her of the need to Repark his or her car so you can drive out. The app size is just 504kb. Download it from http://repark.com.ng/.

While I was discussing Repark Mobile App with my pastor's wife, she told me her worst experience was a 3 hours waiting for the driver of the vehicle which blocked her from driving out of where she had parked her car.

NOW YOU NO LONGER NEED TO WAIT OR GO ABOUT LOOKING FOR THE DRIVER. JUST SEND HIM/HER AN SMS USING REPARK MOBILE APP. IT'S FREE. Download it from Google Play store through this link http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.niti.repark
