superstar1: Moronic slowpoke produced from a retardeen spermatozoa, whereLol, the autistic imbe's posts keeps getting shorter. ![]() You are even more foolish than my initial appraisal of you revealed. Such a dyslexic buffon. If you didn't have your head buried so far up another's shït-hole, you would see where your fellow street urchin attacked me first. You alabaru son of two neanderthals! You will know no joy! Oloriburuku omo iya aje. |
Afam4eva: Of cos it's not explicitly written as a criterion but the IOC would not ordinarily give the hosting right to a city in the same country with another city that has hosted it in a very short time. They try as much as possible to move it around. Atlanta 96(North America), Sydney 2000(Oceania), Greece 2004(Europe), Beijing 2008(Asia), London 2012(Europe), Rio 2016(South America), Tokyo 2020(Asia). So, you can see that they keep moving it around. The only reason it hasn't gotten to Africa is that it will be very difficult for an African city to host the event.Correct. Still, the same country the US and the same continent North America, hosted in the space of just 12 years na - Los Angeles '88 and Atlanta '96 respectively. And as for Africa hosting - Nairobi, Casablanca and Cairo all had proposed bids for the 2020 event that didn't get to application stage. I guess they just weren't up to scratch. ![]() |
superstar1: You are indeed a dummy from the abyss of poverty. E no go beta for u, na sapona go eat ur eyeball. All your family members are super fools, even your mama dat produced u as a result of her molestation by garage boys. Don't ever cross my path again. If you are a learner on NL, be warned and get your lousy mouth of our thread. You are a fool. The intelligent ones among you knew I was merely trading banters, but the masochistic tendencies of you sapheads -yourself and StarBoard- of getting gruesomely slaughtered made you insult me first. I return the favour and this hypocritical runt starts screaming blue murder? You will die suddenly! When will you fruitcakes stop this "get out of our thread" opata? Something your mother couldn't achieve with her avowed fëllating skills, what makes you think you, her odious child of perdition will fare any better? ![]() Try harder.... |
Afam4eva: Tokyo is a nice city and i'm happy for them...I hope Maiduguri wins the next one. This is not a criterion for the IOC. Na individual city dey bid not the country - the city with the most robust bid according to the IOC wins! Los Angeles hosted in 1984, and in 1996, just 12 years later, Atlanta, another US city hosted. It's been 17 years now since Atlanta hosted. Also this Istanbul's fifth failed bid in the last 20 years, and also Madrid's third consecutive fail! ![]() |
So Fergie's book is coming next month and apparently will pour more petrol on the whole Rooney saga. Thanks SAF, way to help and support Moyesy.
It's his last hurrah. The old fool needs his retirement windfall. |
coogar: how much is the shirt deal? samsung's deal with chelsea is minute. united got DHL to sponsor warm-up kits, never mind football shirts. united's chevrolet deal alone swallows half of what roman has spent on chelsea. if nike are serious about the new 13-year shirt deal they are negotiating as we speak, the deal is worth £1 billion pounds.Chelsea's deal with Adidas alone is the game's biggest. Chelsea don't go siphoning funds from unstable organisations who would later be kept afloat with taxpayers money. Na fraud! Come to think of it, why do we have to go about begging coys for money, when we have the unending riches of RA to bank on? ![]() Had the US Government not bailed out the obese Glazers ässes and saved their sinking empire, they woulda sold Manure to Otedola for $10M. ![]() |
afrodoc: LOLLai lai, I said it's a tie, and it is indeed a tie. Both of una averaged 1.4 milla per season over the last 5 seasons. Considering Manure's pseudo-popularity, you should be selling more! Except you want to say majority of una fanbase are a buncha poor misfits wen nor fit buy original club merchandise. ![]() |
dademola: u mean u went tru d stress of gathering all these information, just to spite us? Good to knw u're comparing us wif d great madrid, and not dt agbero club in london sha...Lol... These are cheap stuffs available for mejo eepini on the internet. ![]() Manure scums stay yapping we the biggest club, biggest sporting institution, we record the most shirt sales and all sorts of uncorroborated megede-fegede, when in actual fact, none these is correct. This is not about spiting Manure, -ain't nobody got time for that- this is simply the true state of things. ![]() |
Britain not being part of the eurozone is not the fault of the Glazers, there's absolutely nothing they can do about that. The fact is, before euros gained so much strength, Man United was at the top in terms of revenue. Madrid only went ahead of us solely because of the swing In currency strength and then their TV deal.
Enough of this currency discrepancy wolf-cry jo oga. Forbes an American firm did their own evluation with the USD, inflation adjusted figures, they still have Madrid on top comfortably. Even if the revenues are skewed cos of the Euro as you are postulating, Madrid are still an overall more valuable sporting brand than Manure. I bet you if United were allowed to negotiate their own TV deal, they would get a deal worth up to £200 million per annum. This is jejune. No point dwelling on or making forecasts based on what won't happen. The EPL's TV revenue distribution structure will never change, and Madrid will continue to rake in hundreds of millions from TV for the fore-seeable future. They can go ahead and sign all the star players they can find, it won't change much. Even with the Ronaldos, Bale and the rest, they still don't sell more shirts than United,Actually, it's a tie..... https://www.sportingintelligence.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/Best-selling-shirts-to-2012.jpg www.sportingintelligence.com/2012/10/08/exclusive-manchester-united-and-real-madrid-top-global-shirt-sale-charts-081001/ www.blogs.independent.co.uk/2012/10/08/manchester-united-and-real-madrid-top-global-shirt-sale-charts/ Bearing in mind the the fabled 10 trillion Manure worldwide fan base, they still can't sell up to 2 million shirts annually. Poor. they haven't been to a champions league final for 11 years now. It doesn't bother me one bit what Perez is doing.Yet they have been immensely successful off the pitch. Imagine wetin go happen should they return to successful heights on the pitch. They will conveniently rake in billions! |
coogar: it sucks when real madrid & barcelona are allowed to do their independent TV deals when united have to share their own revenue from TV fans with the other 19 clubs in the premier league. hapless clubs like crystal palace, west ham &Oniyeye ni e... The same Chelsea milking Samsung, one of Asia's most valuable companies dry? ![]() Chelsea and Manure both toured Asia recently, roll out the average attendances for both teams, and let's see who the Ching Chung Lees wanna see play football. ![]() |
They are couple of reasons( beyond their control) why Madrid revenue is significantly higher than ours. One of the reasons is because of the weakening of pounds sterling compared to euros.
Mi o gbo ri... Shey na Madrid say make Britain nor dey part of the Eurozone ni? Another reason is because of the individual TV rights in LA liga which earn Madrid about £161 million compared to the collective premier league TV deal which earns us only £60 million. Not to worry though, because our revenue will Increase significantly soon once our new deals kicks In. The new premier league TV deal will earn us an estimated £100 million, plus our new shirt deal which is about £50 a year.In the final analysis, Manure's cut of the new improved TV deal, plus your new shirt deal is still short of Madrid's TV deal alone. Not forgetting that they also have a new shirt deal in place which is significantly higher than their previous deal. Factor in money spinner - CR7 plus Bale's prospects.... Not forgetting the renegotiation of our kit with Nike, which will also bring In a lot of money among other new deals signed recently. We will close the gap on Madrid and perhaps even overtake the within the next few years.Enu e dun.... The gap in revenue is well over €100M mate. Making up for that would mean Manure making all the right business decisions and Madrid relegated to the Segunda Division. With Perez at the helm, Madrid will keep blooming business-wise. |
That would be a really good result, especially with Van Persie bagging a brace
RvP leaving the stadium with his left leg draped in braces you mean? ![]() |
What are the obese, stroke-stricken Glazers doing, when Florentino Perez and Real Madrid are busy grubbing all the money on the planet?! I thought these burger-munching Yanks are supposed to be the business-savvy, Benjamin-chasing microcosmic version of the EPL itself. Real Madrid have announced a turnover of €520.9 million over the 2012-13 fiscal year, a 1.3 per cent increase on the previous season. |

debosky: The answe is Yes and No.The question is straight-forward - Yes or No? No, because the team Ozil is joining has not been depleted with its heart ripped out (Cesc and Nasri sales) as Arsenal were in 2011/12. The team has more quality than it did in that season and is more settled, therefore is not as reliant on an individual as we were in 11/12.In other words, bar RvP, Ässnal paraded a bunch of never-do-wells that season? ![]() Yes, because the team has more quality and is more settled, Ozil will push the team closer to the contenders (not merely struggle to keep the team in the top 4 as RVP did) and will therefore have a bigger impact. This is an admission that the trophylessness will continue. You claim their is more quality in the squad, you almost tripled your transfer record to bring in a player, and it all adds up to just pushing closer to the contenders? Why not get in amongst the contenders? Too tall a order? ![]() It is clear that Ässnal have no ambition! |
coogar: 4-0 against palace to take us to the 3rd position.Ko jo.... |
Pertinent question: Will Özil have a bigger impact on Ässnal in 2013/2014 than RvP's in 2011/2012? Rather than focus on their collection of wänkers as a unit, Gayners are busy creaming all over Özil. Na real wa. |
