Ibime: How do you invest in VCs and on which platform? There are equity crowdfunding platforms like Crowdcube, Seedrs, FrontFundr, etc. An issue with crowdfunding platforms is that there is no liquidity, you have to wait till the company becomes listed or betterstill, target convertibles where you don't get to exercise the option and/or buy high yield bond/preference stocks. Another way to do this is to target Over The Counter (OTC) exchanges. There are several OTC markets in Europe and North America e.g. Pink, OTCQB, OTCQX, TSXV, Aequitas Neo. These exchanges have thousands of companies listed on their platforms, and there is liquidity. Also, some of the exchanges are regulated, which means they try to do due diligence on some of the companies that they bring on board. I prefer this to the first option. If the entity you are invested in makes it to a major stock exchange or gets acquired by a financial or strategic investor, you don blow be that! Most of these stocks are penny stocks and are very risky. Just be sure that you have an appetite for risk and you don't invest more than you can lose. Proper DD is also always important. One final option. You can target SPACs that are looking for businesses to acquire. Essentially, SPACs are vehicles publicly traded on major exchanges. These blank check entities are set up by experienced teams to raise capital from the equities market with the intention to take private companies public through a merger or an acquisition. I can access the last two options using an online stock broker. |

Ibime: Yes, I'd never do that in FX as it is not a commodity but a pair. The risk depends on capital allocation. I averaged down to $34.5k for 25% of capital which in all likelihood will be profitable given the dynamics of its price. The plan to average in another 15% at $28k is still trading. That is where the trading ends and attempts to buy the dip end.
If it's a bear crash, I will be absolutely more than happy to become a long term investor at $10k and $20k price for which I can deploy my remaining 60%. That's why I will only do this for BTC because I don't want to be a holder of large amounts of Altcoin in the event of a crash.
Thanks for the tip on Healthtech BTW, the guy I copied as a result is up 4.5% just from start of Jan. Fair! Wow, 4.5% is very good. Healthcare will give you good returns this year. I have picked up OTC stocks of some healthcare companies. WoW portfolio return is about 7%. Let’s see what happens this week. I am beginning to allocate more to venture capital these days, I identify OTC or VC exchanges and buy stocks of startups and entities that I believe will start trading on major exchanges very soon, plus listed shell companies (SPACs) that are looking for businesses to acquire. Of course, it’s risky, but I can take the risk. Go big or go bust. Moreso, I will be switching to a less risky (tax free) source of income very soon, just makes sense for me to aim for a negative correlation (re: my investments vs employment income). |

Ibime: In a bull market? You can only lose if it stays down long term Question is, can you recognize a temporary dip or the start of a bear? Contrarians and long term investors can afford to average down if they believe in a particular company/stock. Are you one? Also, are you ready to hold for a long time (in case Bitcoin stays down for an extended period)? I doubt it, you are interested in trading income. Finally, currencies are way more volatile, averaging down strategy is a dangerous game in Fx trading. |

Check attached pic. Lol, I was saying that no one would be fine with both of them doing top 4 in consecutive seasons without a trophy. Wait, are we saying that we are good with just a top 4 finish without a cup? That’s not progress o. |

I tire for una abeg What are you saying sef? I have moved on from cup competitions because OGS has lost four semifinals already (in 2 years), and top 4 finish alone is no more an achievement, because you guys would kill Mou and LVG for consecutive top 4 finishes without a trophy. Ibime: Your strategy is risky sha. Na boom or bust
I'm averaging in BTC on the way down. I put roughly 8% of capital at 35.5K, another 12% or so at $35k, then another 5% at 34.5k. I've held another 15% to come in at $28 to $30k which has 50% chance of happening, and nuclear option is another 30% below $20k and another 30% below $10k. I believe the first 3 will swing me decent profit within 2 to 3 days and is very likely but on the small probability it keeps going down, the nuclear options will gain a heavier profit to prevent stories that touch, although involves a longer HODL. So far this method manages risk well but has given me a good 1.5% return on total capital per week since start of January and is sustainable.
Im trying to do trades almost exclusively on BTC because I don't want to HODL anything else long term if market goes South. If I take a quick punt, it will just be a small thing in Cardano, XLM or Eth. Hmmmmm, averaging down is a risky play. You get mind o. Traders that average down always find themselves in trouble. |

Lol, they are coming out to catch fun. Of course, the initial target was top 4 and a cup, and I don’t think it doesn’t make sense to ask for the league or nothing which replaces the initial target, because we have no chance of winning any cup.
We can all see how Amaka continues to stupidly crash out of cup competitions.
With the caliber of players we parade, a top 4 finish without a trophy or cup is complete BS. We should not be celebrating mediocrity, there should be an improvement vs last year’s output. |

KingTom: Why? It would be ludicrous to believe that was his primary objective, at the start of this season. I may not be privy to top board decisions at the club but realistically speaking his expectations shouldn't have been more than a top 4 finish to be honest. Top 4 plus a trophy (FA or Carling)? |

Maguire, Shaw, and Bruno on four yellows. Against Fulham, OGS must drop two of these guys against Fulham else we won’t have them play a more important game.
Meanwhile, our record against top 6 in five games is just sh1t. 1 goal penalty.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was left disappointed after leaving Anfield with a point. Lol.... He messed up with his set up, waited for more than one hour before tweaking.
