Clearances: Utd have 356 clearances already this season, among the top 6 clubs, only Tottenham is higher at 414 (of course we know why). City is the lowest at 230, Liverpool - 260.

Tackles: United have 325 tackles already, others have less (City the best with 252 and Liverpool - 254, Tottenham - 310 )

Saves: United - 52, City - 33, Liverpool - 46, Tottenham - 64

Blocks: United - 70, City - 40, Liverpool - 25, Tottenham- 78

Interceptions: Utd - 230, City - 166, Liverpool - 183.

I intentionally included Tottenham so you can see how football styles and systems invite pressure on your defence and make your defenders very inefficient.

OGS needs a style that makes sense. Our attackers are top 3 in the league in terms of efficiency (City is not even in top 5), and our defenders and keeper continue to work hard, but still concede many goals. We are very good in every department (e.g. through balls from our midfielders are 18, City - 19, Liverpool - 20, I already posted chances created by select teams).

Maguire is crap for £80m. If his transfer fee was like £40m, no one would care. Van Dijk was signed for £75m and he immediately made every defender at Liverpool look better. Maguire makes our defence look poor.

AWB is the best one v one defender in the league but that is all there is to him. Once he crosses the half way line, he’s clueless. I think Ole’s only plan was to counter attack. Sign good tacklers who can win the ball and feed the pacy creative players. This is another reason he got Daniel James.

You are right. But then, Ake, Stones, Dias are average players, they are not the best defenders out there, and Pep continues to use them because he trusts his system.

Ole has not developed any player at Utd, he continues to buy players like Pep. One thing is to spend on players, another is to sign players that can function well in your system. We all know that Ole does not have a system, so I guess he is just buying players and hoping that they put on good displays every match day.

You can’t give what you don’t have, OGS should be managing a division 2 side.

Pep Guardiola has spent close to £400m on his defence alone. If he buys a player and the player doesn’t deliver, he gets a replacement quickly. That is a manager that wants to win.

Pep signed Bravo to replace Hart. Bravo messed up, Pep didn’t wait to ‘develop’ him because he is not a school principal. He binned him after 12 months and signed Ederson.

It’s a winning mentality. Ole has spent £300m on the entire squad of which the overrated Maguire and the train wreck called Wan Bissaka are almost half of the entire total spent.

Pep’s average spend per season is 166m (832m in 5 years) and he has won trophies on the back of the amount he’s spent. Infact he won trophies a year after joining City. OGS has spent a lot already, he needs to give us a trophy and a UCL slot this season.

Now, if you believe that Magwaya and AWB are not good enough, you need to blame Ole for buying them. Again, we are back to OGS, he is not a good manager at all.

If anything, Ole is underperforming with a much better squad than his predecessor.

Wage structure is not a problem, as long as there are good inflows. Finances are affected by the pandemic. If revenue decreases and costs stay the same, what will happen?
