obainojazz:Really? So Mata isn't a good player? Did you watch him at Chelsea and during his first few years at man Utd? |
Ojoro goal |
kizolo:Why are you looking for him? You should be concerned about our lethargic display. Good ball from Mata |
If we don't beat Norwich today, then we should just shoot OGS. I mean, Norwich is the last on the table. |
eph12:But we lost and/or played draw against them. I guess they have better players than we do. Of course, one can be tempted to say 'yes' since we continue to reel out inconsistent and woeful performances against mid-bottom table teams. Right? However, the fact is, we have better players than most of those teams, so why are we consistently struggling against Watford and others? |
maik99:So opposition clubs (including Watford, Arsenal, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Sheffield, Wolves etc.) now have better players than Utd? Is that what you think or believe? |
Oasis007:Don't know why our 'useless old' players keep getting offers from good clubs. What do you think is going on sef? |
Lukaku no sabi control, una pursue am, Smalling is just tall for nothing, una send am on loan, Herera too (though he left cos of compensation issues), Fellaini does not have united DNA, una sell am. Interestingly, some of these guys are doing well in their respective clubs, you cant play to the strength of your players, rather, you want to spend a billion dollars on players that can easily fit in, are you Pep Guardiola? Kontinu! |
Lana1:WTF! So, we should go all out and buy 10 players.......hahaha. What about Maguire, AWB, James, Rashford, McTom, De Gea, Pogba? That's about seven players already. I am so sure it's one of the useless fellow legends that you have quoted. So, who should we buy jare? Dybala, Messi, Ronaldo, De Bruyne, Aguero, Van Dijk, etc. ? abi. You people should keep saying that we have useless players. Very few are useless, I still maintain my stance that we need just 1-2 players this summer and a better manager. The current crop of players can make top 4, we need a couple of additions to start competing with City and Liverpool. |

PerfectlyPerfect:Proven kor. Iran informed Iraq before sending the missiles their way, what does that tell you? Some of you are slow. |
Iziquiel: No casualty, not a single one, you have no idea what is going on. |
alienvirus:Some of you will just be saying rubbish without a proper assessment or even understanding of what is going on.............oya tell me the countries that will come out and support Iran. Russia, China, UK, France, Germany ?? Tell me.Meanwhile, check Iran's foreign minister's post, substantiates my argument. Even if they have the capacity, they can't fight the US and her allies. Do you know how many troops US has got in the world?
|
alienvirus:What do you know? I am so sure no US casualties. If any, US will hit Iran again. It's a subtle game by IRAN to avoid war. Send missiles to two US bases (particularly, spots where Iraqi forces are located), ensure there are zero to few US casualties, so the US doesn't respond, then end it there. Check the threats from Iran now, if you respond, we will strike Dubai and a city in Isreal. What does that tell you? |
See this joker! Reminding City of the PSG champions league game (second leg). Ode!!!!! https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/man-utd-manager-ole-gunnar-21235663 |
We should just go and buy 11 leaders now. Let them be playing week in week out, shey Na leaders go develop game plan, tweak styles and ensure we get back to winning ways. I still maintain my stance, we don't need to go all out and buy players, change the manager first, the new one shouod only buy one or two players That's it. How many times do you see Chelsea go all out and buy 4-5 quality players in two consecutive windows? |
Lana1:h So, Valencia wasn't qualified to captain the team at any point? Nawa o, so you want to bring back Vidic and Fagbo to come captain the team? |
chrisley024:But we had Di Maria, Falcao, Herrera, Mhki, Zlatan etc. Fergie left Valencia, Young, Mou bought Pogba, Lukaku, Baily, Sanchez. What about Mata, Fred, Lindelof, Maguire, Martial, Matic, etc? How come these guys were hot pre man Utd, but became Shyte all of a sudden. One thing is constant, useless managers since Fergie left, only Mourinho tried to win something, but then the 'third season syndrome' did set in. The board has realised that it's not about buying players, reason they have refused to, I am sure they just wanna give OGS sometime, before they tell him to fuvk off. |
chidexxy007:I really don't care, they are all midfielders. Of course, if we had gone for a 4-4-2 formation today, then Fred would probably have partnered with Lingard or Pereira. I was only driving the point that these players have the same quality. Today, you guys would have killed Anderson and Cleverly. Simply because the manager has done nothing to help their careers vs Fergie that knew how to use fringe players. |
eph12:Leaders? Who bought white Omuero to come be the lead? How come De Gea that condemned the team's performance after the game against Newcastle has become a mere follower, what about Valencia, why did he sideline the guy and later freed him? How many leaders you wan get sef? Mata, Pogba nko? Or do you want to bring back Scholes, Gary, Roy Keane and Vidic to come be the leaders? Nawa o! |
Lana1:Cleverly scored 5 goals and provided 8 assists in 79 games vs Peirera - 3 goals and 4 assists in 60 games. Anderson nko, 9 goals and 21 assists in 181 games played vs Lingard - 30 goals and 19 assists in 193 games, Oya tell me the difference. The fact is, these guys are the same. They are midfielders with the same output. Get another manager to make some tweaks and we start winning games, consistently. |
Leyqute:Hahahaha, you must be joking. You know at some point, our defence combos were Jones/Vidic, Ferdinand/Evans, Vidic/Evans, Evans/Jones. Our midfield was Cleverly/Anderson, sometimes Jones playing as a DM. JS. Park, Fetcher, Oshea, Nani, Fabio, Rafael, Young, Valencia, etc. nko? It was Fergie's style that made those guys look world-class. Most of the players then were average. We need a better manager abeg! |
Lana1:Hehe, what happened to both Anderson and Cleverly post Fergie era? We cussed the hell out of Cleverly when Moyes was here. you don forget? Anderson too became useless when Fergie left. |
I have no business blaming Woodward or the board for what is happening to us, except maybe because they are slow in making good decisions (re: sacking of stup1d managers). These guys have spent over 1 billion pounds in the last five years to buy quality players, but then, manager recruitment mistakes continue to ensure that their efforts are useless. |
Throwaway1234:You sef see am. Meanwhile, Kudiola is a fraud! |
Lana1:Lies, Fergie used 'useless' players to win the league before he left. Cleverly, Anderson, tired Carrick, old Scholes, etc. He bought Smalling, jones, Ashley Young, Valencia and others. I won't forget Fabio and Rafael o. And he won leagues with them. So stop BSing us. He didn't need 5 superstars on the pitch. |
No City striker on the pitch, and we conceded 3 goals, why do you think Pep played about 7-8 midfielders? Football management na sense. |
weedtaker: ![]() |
See how City's defence appears shaky anytime we enter their box. So, Pep should sell his defenders and DMs because of that, abi? Football is nothing but style and gameplan, you can use 11 average players to win the league, you guys will start praising the average players when managers start bringing out the best in them. Leicester, Ajax, Liverpool all come to mind. Either you buy superstars, like Madrid and Bayern do, use them to dominate or use average players + 1-2 superstars (Fergie's style) to do the same. But you need a reasonable manager for that success you crave. |
Leyqute:If you like, buy 11 players (best in the world), as long as we have this failure as our manager, we will continue to do crude oil exploration..... |
Lana1:Oga, no difference between Jones and Maguire. Meanwhile, I still dont think the players are the problem, I will continue to say it. The problem is with the manager. Re: your point on how his gameplan worked the last time. I completely agree, but then Pep changed his formation and taktic today, see the outcome. Your manager has got no response to what is going on. When a manager is not flexible with his taktics, the team, supporters, staff, executives and investors of a club will suffer. |
This joker has called on the slow midfielder to come save his job............nothing go happen, we die here together, if City no beat us minimum of 5:0, I will find apari and will .......... him. Oloriburuku somebody! |
