Stupid Mourinho will tell his players to man mark opponent players. Smart opposing managers will tell their players to go wide, so there is space for unmarked players to take advantage of.

Yesterday, the gap between Lindelof and Smalling was massive, because they were man marking, while Matic couldnt catch up with a small, fast Dybala when Juve attacked man utd, and no one else can mark Dybala because man utd players must man mark!

Dybala had two clear-cut chances because he was faster than Matic and was able to run into spaces created by our central defenders

To be frank with you guys. Manchester United doesn't have the defense or midfield to play attacking football. The day you guys come out to attack you guys will be trashed. Jose knows this, Ed knows this, elampiro knows this, The true fans at Old Trafford knows this. Only the fake fans on nairaland don't.

Do you even know what you are saying? So Pogba, Matic, Herrera, Fred, Mctominay, Pereira, Fellaini are not midfielders, abi? Lets be realistic, you only need to play Pogba, Matic and maybe Fred to attack any team.

Regarding our defense, how many clubs have solid defenders? The same defense that was about the best in the league last season. How come these guys are playing shyte?

Tactics matter alot, if your tactics are right, nobody will complain about your defense. Check Man City (Otamendi, Laporte, Stones), Arsenal (Mustafi, Holding, and the other fringe players), Liverpool (apart from Dijk, who else?), even Chelsea (Luiz huh

Rudiger etc), these guys are not top notch defenders, but their managers understand them and approach games with tactics that mask their weaknesses.

See beautiful, attacking, possession football, football is beyond defending and hoping for mistakes by the opponent. Please, attack until you score more goals than your opponent.

I don't care if Mourinho wins the champions league with this defensive mindset, it won't change my stance on this matter, I just hope that the Saudi guy buys united, so we can have a progressive board.

Imagine everyone trying to play attacking footie (even Garri that hasn't won a spoon), and one id1ot is hell bent on frustrating the club with his archaic methods.

If the board can't take a decision as soon as possible, then heaven will sack both the manager and the board.
