Uwaiwe:
You are right. From my personal experience, most high end companies here process your visa, book appointment in the Embassy in Nigeria from Dubai and you only walk in to the Embassy to get your passport stamped no hassle. They will book flight for you and even send Maraba to airport to welcome you. I experienced it my first time in Dubai. Notwithstanding, there are companies paying young Nigerians here more than 23k monthly. We should encourage the high end earner that decided to bring himself out . We need each other to grow here. He may share nice info that will help one or two person. But all the same, look before you leap. This thread is my favourite in Nairaland...you guys are the best
Well, some of these companies dont mind leaving you to face the visa hassle vis-a-vis Abuja wahala. They tend to reimburse you, and take care of the rest such as flight booking, maraba stuff, get you an apartment (within DIFC or the suburbs where you'd be waking up to Burj Khalifa sights) for the first few weeks/months, pay you close to 10k USD sign on bonus, and pay you over 7k USd monthly.

I have a couple of friends earning over 30k dirhams monthly in Dubai, these are guys that are less than 30 years old and are in fields like finance and banking, engineering, IT etc. Interestingly, they don't mind moving to North America or Europe, given any slight opportunity, because those countries appreciate their skills more.

Anyway, it's still hustling things, just that level pass level sha. I see that a lot in here are quite comfortable with less that 10k salaries in Dubai, sharing spaces etc. My advice is for each person to go beyond his/her comfort zone, strive to make it big, develop yourself, read, study, nobody is too old to read, identify trending fields, develop yourself, so you can excel in any country you find yourself. I know we are from 'a not so useful' country, but let's try and be the best anywhere we find ourselves.

All the best to everyone!

So he took out all that time to plan this, got his friends involved, did video and all.

He probably spent a killing too.

He could have just sent her a text, he and his friends can play PS for the reminder of the day and used the money to buy peppersoup and beer.

When people hurt you and you go all out to hurt then back, it is a sign that you are still hurting, why give anyone that pleasure?
Mynd44, why are you like this now? Sometimes, revenge can be sweet oh.

Abeg, free the guy, the broke ass nigga fuvking enjoyed it!

Updated: Just watched the video, the guy didn't spend a dime for that sh1t, he actually spent less than 10mins.

Wow!

Well travelled!
I'm just too scared of that last line. No, I don't want to answer that call anytime soon.
Of course, minimum is like 70 to 80 years, and if you don't take time, you might end up staying in a particular country for like 50 years, with near zero travel experience, no experience with other cultures, etc. You just live to wine, dine, fuvk, then rinse and repeat!

Getting married, owning a building and driving a car are not notable achievements, they are normal.

This is someone who's well travelled.

By a few lines, you'd know them!
Well, not really, but I visited nice cities in the last one year. Manchester, Doha, Dubai, London, Jo'burg, Port Louis, Casablanca, and some crazy cities as well.

Hoping to do Paris, Barcelona, Toronto, Munich and hopefully New York in the next one year.

This life is too short, keep exploring till the owner of everything calls.
Travel › Re: I'm Traveling To London, Follow Me On My Journey..... by nitrogen(m):
Been to London a few times, a mix of old and new stuffs, infrastructure is old but well maintained, historic stuffs, a bit dynamic. However, Dubai is the bomb. That city is heaven on earth. Diversity is mad, if you are well educated, you will earn well, drive exotic cars, live in nice and affordable apartments, no income tax, you live in skyscrapers, dynamism is the main-stay, security is top-notch etc.

The downside is you won't become a citizen, very tough, hopefully, the law changes anytime soon. You can however live and work in Dubai for more than 30 years.

Hello fam, please where is the best place I can exchange my Dollars to Dirhams in Dubai?
You don't need dollars at all. Just have a GTB account (and master naira card), put naira, and withdraw at any ATM within the airport or outside. It's about 99/100 naira to 1 dirham.

Hi People, great job you are doing in here.

Please I have a couple of questions,

1. I have my attested medical certificate from Nigeria, hoping to fly into the UAE next week for Emirates ID and residence visa, please would I need to undergo another medical exam in the UAE?

2. Do I need to have the minimum 1000 USD required at the POE? Kindly note that my sponsor is going to take care of all expenses (flight, accommodation, feeding etc.)

Thank you.

No need getting pissed off, the chances of us beating City was actually slim. I expected the players to start the game the same way they started against Juve but it seems the tactic this time around was to sit back and wait for a counter-attacking chance, coupled with the fact that we had Fellaini, Matic and Herrera in the midfield, there's no way on earth we were going to control that midfield with those guys as the midfielders.
Well, not too pissed off, just a bit concerned. Two Managers got about 600m, both spent well, only that one decided to spend to enhance his bus parking style, unfortunately for him, the world decided to move on and leave him with his big for nothing bus.

There is no hope!

I still think Matic isva great player.
Just like being a proffessor and working under a president without certificate, The problem here is working with Mourinho. Look at what he did to Mikel Obi. I no fit even talk for that matter now.
Look at Sanchez now and compare when he came newly to Man utd.
Even if u bring Ronaldo Merci at al, problem will still deh.
Mehn, Matic and Fellaini should not be playing against a mobile midfield. These guys are slow eh, at this point, I really don't care what Mourinho has done to them, I just have issues with sluggish and slow players. How can you be slow, and you don't have sense at the same time? Wow! no flexibility, awareness, nothing!

Shey Mata isn't that fast, but skillful and sensible, but Matic and Fellaini? Tall, stup1d, slow, senseless and useless players.

I blame Mourinho for playing both of them at the same time against a man city side that is full of short, fast, skillful, sensible midfielders.

I still don't know what these guys do during their training sessions, see that third goal, Matic left his marker, same thing against Juventus at old Trafford, Matic is a sucker.

Meanwhile, who does that shi1t that Mourinho did today, starting two fuvking slow midfielders in a high profile game, the whole play was lethargic, then you have a motherfuvking useless boy upfront, only thing he knows how to do is run run run.

Mehn, am tired jare, of course the win against Juventus was rubb1sh!

It makes no sense whatsoever whether we loss to west ham or not. Derby match is always different. Considering the fact that we haven’t lost at Etihad since Pep came to England, The Odds is just disrespectful.

I stake my money where my mouth is.

The odds for this Manchester derby is too disrespectful to United.

Imagine, 8 Odds to beat City, 8 Odds kwa....

I trust some big men to take advantage of a United upset.

The bookies might just be shooting themselves in the leg.
I blame Mr Mourinho, quite ridiculous!

Losses to Westham, Derby, Tottenham (3:0) etc.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by nitrogen(m): 11:31am On Nov 11, 2018
Two ways, either we stifle their play, and end up winning them narrowly or playing a draw, or we allow them play and chop it big time, say 3:0 or 4:0.

All the best to us!

Hi guys, please eh, I should be in Abuja on Thursday morning for visa stamping, my question is, if something happens, and I don't get my passport same day, how possible is it to get it the following day (Friday)? I understand that they didn't attend to people on Friday, is it true?

Want to know so I can plan my trip for another day (say Monday morning or thereabout).

Thank God for the win o, we need to continue to attack, attack and attack. Pogba needs to stop showboating except when we are 5 nil up.

As for Mourinho, he should try to understand his players and employ tactics that bring the best out of them.

Seven out of nine possible points is very okay, especially since we almost beat Chelsea last week.
