It is a pity If the youths can behave this way because he can not single handedly embezzle such fund, then who will deliver this country. I guess we should all prepare for the worst, this is not about being a pessimist, let's see things the way they are, most male youths are into fraud at all levels and the society praises them as long as they make money from it. Most female youths are into prostitution and the society terms it as not being foolish, using what you have to get what you want. I pity the future of our kids. May God deliver Nigerians of this selfless spirit and the mantra of 'I go chop my own if opportunity surfaces'. |
An open letter to the Governor of Ogun state on the marginalization of the Yewa/Awori entity by an aggrieved aborigine. 23rd August, 2017. Your Excellency, I am writing this with heavy heart to express my displeasure on the stagnant and dilapidate state of Yewa/Awori domain of Ogun state, a territory which amount to 37% of the total land mass of the state with 5 local government areas. I have travelled across the state and saw countless mega city standard of social amenities and infrastructures done by your administration. It breaks my heart that every time i travel to my home town idiroko and drive through major towns that made up of Yewa/Awori domain like Ilaro, Owode and the likes, nothing has changed since 1996, when I finally left my home town for another state, attimes I wonder if truly Yewa/Awori domain belongs to Ogun state considering the breeze of sustainable developments blowing across other domains of the state but road side signboards and signposts do correct my skepticism . Your excellency, I feel we are being marginalized, there are no contemporary implemented projects, the ones that has been in place since a very long time had been dilapidated due to lack of maintenance and the standard of living of our people is very low since they don't have access to basic amenities. I wish your excellency could take a tour round the Yewa/Awori domain and you will see for yourself how least developed that domain is compared to other domains within the state jurisdiction since the beginning of your administration. I want to please make an important clarification that this letter is not written for the purpose of the power shift struggle clamoured by our people but for an evenly developed Ogun state. I believe that if pragmatic attention can be paid to our domain, it will also restructure the leadership model of the state where a sitting governor do more for the domain he emanates from. I have great hope in your administration that Yewa/Awori domain will enjoy the dividends of democracy just like the incredible developments other domains are currently witnessing under your watch as the Executive Governor of the state. KissChrixx:After Bayern ![]() Arsenal Remember life is too short to trade your happiness for its opposite. Anuway, I dey feel you be strong fan. Kindly help me solve this equation, divide 102 by 2, put a dash between the answer and put Bayern and Arsenal at the appropriate ends of the answer then interchange the answer to represent tonight's beaten. I believe with your solution you have successfully mathematically interpret home and away result of the match played between Arsenal and Bayern in the first quarter of 2017. |
Arsenal just set a record of UEFA most badly beaten club in recent times... While Bayern set UEFA most highly beater club. ![]() |
Mathemagician1:I think you are getting it all wrong. Every successful policy that has been rolled out by the Ag. President which has added positive value to the life of the populace should be credited to the president who has potray the hallmark of good leadership by devoluting absolute power to his deputy while away, compared to some domocratic rulers who render their deputy so useless that you doubt if those rulers were sworn in with a deputy. Permit me to take you back to history during Buhari's reign as the country's head of state, he devoluted absolute authority to Tunde Idiagbon who was his deputy so much that when those who witnessed that government want to say anything about it, they mention more of Idiagbon than Buhari. We love the Buhari led administration but it has to proffer pragmatic and quick solutions to the problems of the country that will advance the standard of living of the common man. #TeamAnticipatingBuhari'sReturn

Any system that adopts outright nepotism over technocracy will lose focus.

Isn't that too early to decide? I can't judge this type of government that inherited so many irregularities until the last 6 months which their tenure will elaspe. Moreover, the present government and Nigerian citizens are like married couple that the husband is experiencing a backdrop in income, only a wife with high level of perseverance will be able to adjust and endure without too much of nagging and few acts of hostility. |
I find it difficult to believe the Igbo will be able to govern themselves if they triumph in their agitation for secession considering their ethnic background and their pre-colonial system of running societal affairs. |
Happy for them, may the birth of the baby set new standards of blessing for their family. May God bless my uncle and his wife too. |
Brushless:You are right sir but I feel she wouldn't want to go to that store again after seeing this video. The store owner needs to fire every employee and hire new employees because they are dirty or not competent for that girl to have get away stuffing such number of clothes between her legs and also wearing a new cloth from the same store at the same time to cover her loots. This means the employees are not justifying why they are been remunerated. The store owner should get photos of the thieves out of that video, then paste it at the entrance of the store tagged MOST WANTED. Facebook too might be helpful. Somebody please tell me what kind of moral advice such ladies will give to their husbands and children. |
My question is what is the person manning the CCTV doing while she was shoplifting? an outrageous activities that lasted for over a minute. Was he distracted for the whole minutes or he was an accomplice?. I doubt if someone who owns a large store like this will mount surveillance gadgets without employing someone to utilize its full potentials by monitoring all activities on it. To the management of the store, next time when things like this happen and you have the intention of apprehending the perpetrator, dont make the video public yet, beef up security and wait patiently because there is high probability that she will come back to steal more in less than 60 days. But now that the video is public, only the public can help you get to her. Oh lord, touch her heart and help her stop seeking pleasure at the detriment of others. |
The reason for this is simply over dependence on imports... A country that is self sufficient will have less of her currency chasing the world currency... |
Make a formal report to the security agencies even the one in your institution. Tell your parents, an attempt on your life is too much for you to handle alone. Be closer to God and prayer to him that Thee should neutralise the mind of everyone holding agrievances against you. Now be careful of telling anybody your plans like places you are going or going to be at a time. Henceforth, be highly diplomatic when you recieve phone calls. "Chairman where you dey?" If you are home, tell the person you are in town. If you are at loggerheads with anyone over any girl please pull out asap. Don't take routes that has less passersby, watch all sides at regular intervals while on the road. Becareful of your friends, try and stylishly limit intimacy with them and don't eat or drink with them for now. It is also advisable to change your location of residence because most times if it is not by the help of the enemy within, the enemy on the outside can do us no harm. If it is not karma that is knocking, I pray God will lift you above all evils. |
I feel your pain madam but be careful when you use words because you can't retrieve them, this statement can be used against you in the future and remember the country wasn't better when she showcased you to the world in soccer. Let us learn to be calm and hopeful for a better tomorrow, the fact that Nigeria is what it is today doesn't mean we won't have a better Nigeria tomorrow. God come to the aid of this country. |
All in the motive of their expansionist agenda, seeking pleasure for your country and its populace at the detriment of a country and its own populace. I pray God will save the haitians from the clutches of foreign and domestic negative dominance of their country . I wish I have the financial capabilities to assist them, this video is a disgrace to humanity. |
At times, I find it difficult to blame Britain for colonising its past colonies, I believe it was a fair playing ground when God created the world. why didn't the precolonial kingdoms/empires in Africa take their expansionist agenda international? |
Mattew chapter 7 vs 1, is an appropriate response to those applauding someone who taketh lives he can't giveth. |
I didn't expect less from a businessman that he is, most business tycoon hardly substitute business growth for mere luxury. |
kazlaw2000:I get your point sir, what I am saying in essence is that if Kaduna state government want a long lasting resolution over this religious bigotry, she should not tag them insurgents yet because this will further instigate them to be more violent as a result of the mental damage that word insurgency will further cause in their gullible brains. Remember the moment Bokoharam was tagged terrorist, their violent activities increased and they also pledged allegiance to ISIS which made them the deadliest and gave them access to multiple stream of funding and equipping. |
Government should not be too quick to label them insugents considering the relationship between this Shiite movement and Iran. We should know that if we don't want Iran to remotely use them against us, their issue should be treated with outright sensitivity, so that we won't have IDP camps all over Kaduna too. Stakeholders in Kaduna should check the ties between Iran and hezbollah to understand me a great deal. |
This is the outcome, when a technocrat is elected. Meritocracy makes me feel America will be great again. |
If the government is unable to make pragmatic policies that will encourage the growth of our local industries. That 30 billion dollars will eject out of our economy in no time because of our over-dependence on imports, then we will be back at point zero. Since it is not sure foreign revenue generated from the sales of oil will increase sooner or later. |
How to run a check on the fuse box, one needs to know how to pull fuse with the fuse picker in the fusebox to troubleshoot electrical component problems. |
May God help our soldiers win this war because terrorism anywhere is a threat to peace everywhere. I wish the wounded, quickest recovery... |
what exactly is wrong with all these government agencies? how could EFCC say corruption is no threat to national security? So the convictions of innocent populace, who served jail term on issues they were not guilty about, due to the fact that judges compromised because of the pecuniary largesse either party offered, when most of them gained their freedom after serving their jail term, they become quality hardened criminals thereby a threat to national security. I want to use this medium to tell EFCC that injustice is the hallmark of a failed state. I believe that if corruption is eradicated in the judiciary, other arms of government will do what are expected of them. |
RIP to a true nationalist, FIDEL ORIYOMI CASTRO. The Cubian hero escaped multiple assassination attempts on his life, that he said if escaping assassination is an Olympic game, he would win Gold. |
That list is incomplete, you didn't include that punishment I will sit on the floor, far from the wall, in an open space, raise my both legs, keeping them side by side at 45 degrees and raise my hands too, side by side at 45 degrees for some hours. This punishment was a daily routine at the peak of my waywardness and it got to a point i started loving it but one magical thing about this punishment was that anytime I served it for 4 hours, I still get to be at that same spot 8 hours after I've been released. ![]() |
One of the reasons this government lacks focus and sustinable achievements. I feel this administration is selfish, letting their personal interest overrule national interest... I believe Nigerians will hit the street someday yelling " it is either freedom for everybody or freedom for nobody" |
Uncle jiggaz, the world lasted more than 1939 which marked the official beginning of WWII so I have a feeling that it would last beyond 2039 if WWIII ranges. WWIII will only change the power structure of the international system to multi polarity and also take the world backward in development. |
I just hope it is talk about economic development towards the populace and not to fashion out ways to maximise their personal coffers... Nigeria shall be great again. |
One out of the million consequences of the Arab spring and hegemonic sustainability measures. The only way this world can be free from terrorism is through remote psychological rehabilitation. |
