Flyoruboy: LOL!!! This coming from you cowardly lot who are being chanced by SS minorities like Ijaws and Ikwerres who seized your properties, displaced and disgraced you all and till today y'all are still whining and can't do shyt about it, yet you want to take on your Yoruba masters? ? Get tha funk outta here boy! First go use those Aba/Onitsha touts to restore your battered pride from the Ikwerres first before taking crap.
Go and ask your father how we terminated your earlier attempt to invade our lands during the last Civil war. Funny enough, that futile attempt was the only ambitious and noteworthy OFFENSIVE of the Biafrans throughout the last Biafra war -- y'all spent the remainder of the war DEFENDING your ever shrinking territory till your leader absconded and the advancing Nigerian army decided to be magnanimous enough to accept your surrender.
And ironically, that singular offensive was led by a Yorubaman (Banjo). In other words, it took a Yorubaman to help you all record your only noteworthy offensive effort throughout the war. Talk about a bunch of useless cowards.
You will soon get Biafra so you can all finally be FORCED to go and develops that hell-hole of a place you call your homeland, though I understand why y'all love Yorubaland like white on rice, there's absolutely nothing back in your erosion ravaged homeland. Ndo. Ewu, don't allow your ignorance to overwhelm your intelligence. Who do you think are Ikwerres. Can a 2 years toddler fight his dad? I'm not sure you have stepped your foot into Portharcourt because if you have, you wouldn't had given out that cretinous and oblivious comment of yours. The population of Igbos in Porthacourt is not different with that of Igbos in Onitcha and Aba. The Ikwerres you mentioned are just like a community in Igbo land. And they are not different from Igbos because they speak Igbo dialect. Even the word “Ikwerre” is an Igbo word. Any one that calls Ikwerre a tribe is doing that out of hypocrisy. I was born and brought up in Porthacourt so I can assure you that Portharcourt is more or less an Igbo land. More than Half of the people that claims Ikwerre lineage today are mostly people from Owerre, Mbaise, Umuahia and Nkwerre all in Abia and IMO states who came early and took to themselves land, lived there and had family but they still know their root even till date. All these were possible because Ikwerre igbo is very easy to speak unlike the Igbo spoken by people from Abakilliki in Ebonyi and some groups in Enugu state. Just accept this lecture and don't comment indiscreetly. |

Flyoruboy: You sound like one of this illiterate Onitsha traders, if not you won't entertain the impossibility of the scenario you just painted. Before you all can remotely fantasize about annexing Lagos, you must first successfully annex the whole of Delta, Edo, Ondo, and the entire eastern stretch of Ogun state, which are all none-igbo territories.
Common sense should tell you that the igbos in Lagos are completely/overwhelmingly outnumbered and encircled by Yoruba populations and territories of Lagos, Ogun and Ondo. In other words, the distance between your real homeland in the East and Lagos is just too wide. Try any shyt and the Lagoon will treat your fvck up. And those things you termed impossible are on the verge of been possible. I understand what you mean by listing those states. You think that your western brothers could come up and rise against the Igbos. Funny. Any shit of that, we Igbos will embark on ethnic expurgation of the yoruba race. Only Aba and Onitcha warriors can end the despondent Existence of your pessimist and gutless yoruba brothers . We are the strength behind the economic enviability of Lagos state and if we withhold our assets, lagos would be left as an empty hogshead or firkin. |

OPCNAIRALAND: What did Ibos tell Nigeria when bokoharam prisoners were brought in and locked up in Ekwulobia prison in Anambra? You said Iboland is not a dumping ground for criminals. Correct?
You never considered that the prisoners were Nigerians.
During election season in Anambra and Imo when El Rufai came to give support to Okorocha, he was denied free access and movement around town and was bullied to abandon his trip and get out of town. Is that not true? Is El Rufai not Nigerian or does he not have constitutional rights to be anywherw in this country?
I refer you to the paragraph where OPC confirms that privileges enjoyed by Ibos and others in Yorubaland are not reciprocated to Yorubas on your soil.
A Yoruba Pastor Kumuyi was to come to Iboland for a revival not too long ago. He was threatened with violence, MASSOB and IPOB called for him to be harrassed and attacked if he dared touch foot on Iboland. Have you no recollection of this? Is Kumuyi not a Nigerian or is he not covered under constitution to be anywhere in this country?
Just few days ago, trucks belonging to Dangote were destroyed in Iboland. Is Dangote not a Nigerian, does he not have right of freedom and access to conduct his business without harrassment anywhere in Nigeria?
Fvk Ibo, fvk Biafra... Your land and your future in this country is condemned, your only survival rest in Independence, so make sure this time you stay the course and actualize Biafra. A lot of people that were thinking Ibo should have a turn to rule the country are now having second thoughts and backing out because you are a big risk to safety and security in this country.
You are not tasting power again for 50 gaddem years, dont let go of this IPOB thing....stay on it and get your country and get da fvk outta here. We are going to strip your authority away and put you under supervision and observation and give a review in 2065 to see if Ibo is ready and stable to be entrusted with power. 50 gaddem years on probation....if you dont like it dont slack, make sure you bring a fvkng biafra into fruition this time and split. A slashed comment from a yoruba fool/coward. Have any prominent dignitary in igbo land threatened another tribes living in their region just like your Oba indiscreetly threatened the igbos? Have Igbos avenged the unending slaughtering of their brothers in the north. You know what happened during the pro election violence of 2011 or maybe you have forgotten. Their is no doubt that the Madala church and Abuja park bombings was a direct attack on the igbos . Going through the names of the affected victims, you wouldn't wait to be told that they are dominantly igbos. There is no federal project in the region. Enugu coal reserve has been abandoned for decades. Buhari has so far turned is back on the region. The NTA 9' o clock news is only stationed for the west and nothern states with Lagos, Abuja and Kano been the talking point of their news. They don't even depict Igbo culture on their daily and weekly programs but I'm fade up of watching hausa and Yoruba programms. |

Politics › Re: Biafra Crusade, A Portent Dead On Arrival by Nnaji36(m): 9:39pm On Nov 30, 2015 |
jasperkrekre: Recently, I have taken my time to carefully read about and also watch videos of the agitators of the Biafra movement especially one of their renowned leader, Mr Nnamdi Kanu. It will be a case of dishonesty, falsehood and falsification if I negate the fact that Nnamdi Kanu is one of the most intelligent Biafrans I’ve ever listened to and also read about. Though regarding him as being intelligent is relative and personal. The way and manner at which he answers question on why he wants Biafra’s secession out of Nigeria is exceptional and perspicacious. One of the traits I admire in Nnamdi Kanu’s is the way he believed in himself and the movement he is spearheading. I remember one of his statements “One thing has to happen, it is either we have Biafra or we all die”. Such statement come only from a leader that is ready to achieve whatever aim (Good or Bad) and ready to face the consequences that comes with it. As much as I venerate his style and view, he uttered with certitude a particular statement that I think is too myopic and imprudent for his status. He said “the former vice president; Atiku Abubakar, former head of states; Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida and President Muhammad Buhari are the three Nigerians that consciously found Bokoharam”. I am disappointed that such avowal came from him without concrete evidence (s) to proof it. Biafra is made up of four major tribes namely; the Ibos, the Ibibio-Efiks, the Ijaws and Ogojas. Other minor tribes includes; the Idomas, the Itsekiris, Urhobos and some part of Igala. According to Nnamdi Kanu, he said “Biafra simply means Come and join”, So tribe can simply decide to join the movement. My recent interaction with some people from the Southeastern part of Nigeria (which make up large % of the Biafra nation) point to what I refer to as Fictive belief. They believe they have been marginalized by Nigeria since independence. This and many other are the reasons why they want political and economic viability. They are extremely bitter about the structure of Nigeria. They believe that the Nigeria structure is skewed against them in politics, education and in the provision of infrastructure. They share the sentiment that the purpose of the amalgamation of North and South were designed to cheat the South especially the Ibos. And the question is how? A careful reflection on Nigeria since 1960 shows that out of the twelve senate presidents that Nigeria have produced since independence till date, seven of them are Ibos, they are: Dr. Nnamdi Azikwe (1960-1960), Dr. Nwafor Orizu (1960-1966), Chief Ameh Ebute (1993-1993), Dr Chuba Okadigbo (1999-2000), Chief Pius Anyim (2000-2003), Chief Adolphus Wabara (2003-2005) and Dr. Ken Nnamani (2005-2007). Likewise, they have produced two of the nine Speakers of the federal house of representatives (chief Jaja Nwachukwu and Dr Edwin Ume Ezeoke), the west have produced only two too (Oladimeji Bankole and Patricia Etteh). The Ibos should also remember that they’ve produced three of the twelve chairmen of Nigeria’s Electoral Umpire Bodies (now INEC). They include: Professor Eme Awa (Abia state), Humphrey Nwosu (Anambra state) and Maurice Iwu (Imo state). The Ibos have enjoyed been a member of the federal executive councils since 1960. I was not born then but I was there in history. When Dr Nnamdi Azikwe was the Governor General, four Ibos were made ministers and they are: Chief Jaja Wachukwu (Foreign Affairs), Chief Aja Nwachukwu (Education), Chief Raymond Njoku (Transport), and Dr. Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe (Commerce). The Yorubas also had four ministers and the North had only two. Let’s come down to the most recent administrations. During Olusegun Obasanajo’s regime, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala was the Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Finance, Pius Anyim was the senate president, Godwin Emefiele was the CBN Governor, and also Charles Soludo another Ibo man was the CBN governor. Late Prof. Dora Akunliyi was the DG of NAFDAC. Under president Jonathan’s regime Ibos occupy juicy and strategic positions Ibos headed NBC, PENCOM, FERMA, NERDC, NEXIM, NUC, NTDC to mention a few. We all remembered Okonjo Iweala as Finance minister, Anyim Pius Anyim as the Secretary to the federal government of the federation, the two beautiful women in Goodluck Jonathan’s Cabinet; Alinson Madueke (Petroleum minister) and Princess Stella Oduah (Minster of Aviation). And now the so called “baba go-slow” has many Ibos at the helm of affairs. Chris Ngige (Labour and employment) and Ogbonaya Onu (Science and Technology) to mention a few. So the Barney by the Biafra agitators that they have been marginalized since independence is a big myth and delusion. If they actually want to secede from Nigeria, they should provide reasonable reasons and not mere fallacy of “we have been marginalized”. Little did they know that the Era of sheepish followership is gradually fading away in this part of the world? Everybody now have access to history. Another thing I observed about these Biafra agitators is a pronounced power-hunger disease. Some of them are just hungry for power; they desire power at all cost. They want secession at all cost. I wonder why people don’t learn from past/ previous mistakes. Most at times, the common remedy for secession is war. So they are advocating for the replay of the tragic occurrence of 1967-1969. Myself as a student of History, I’ve read a lot about the Nigeria - Biafra war. I have also seen some documentaries on it and honestly it was a tragic and horrible incident that I will never support or pray to happen again. Secession in U.S. history which led to the withdrawal of 11 slave states (states in which slaveholding was legal) from the Union during 1860–61 following the election of Abraham Lincoln as president. Secession precipitated the American Civil War. The fact remains that most of these Biafrans fail to understand that there is big difference between WAR and RIOT. The reason why Biafra portent is going to be a failed attempt are numerously numerous. I still don’t believe how they want to actualize this movement without the intervention and support of the political heads/leaders in the region. Chairman of the APC Governors’ Forum, Rochas Okorocha, said the reported violent protests in some states capitals including those of Rivers, Anambra and Delta, in the name of Biafra, do not in any way have the support or blessing of governors and leaders of the South-east geo- political zone either directly or indirectly. So the South-east governors have disassociated themselves from protests by Members of the Movement for the Actualization of Biafra (MASSOB). The Senators and House of rep members from this region are not in support of MASSOB. Larger percentage of the traditional rulers from this region are against this movement. Even the late Biafra Leader Chief Ojukwu said “it will be foolish of anyone to go to another war in the name of Biafra”. So why the unnecessary agitation and Barney. Issue like these are never won in isolation. It has to be a collective and consensus agreement. Another obvious fact is that the Ibos that I know love their lives and businesses so much. You can’t expect an Ibo man that has businesses all over the states of the federation to abandon his investments all in the name of a movement that is bound to fail. Ibos are very intelligent, an Ibo can fabricate anything. They are extremely bright and smart. Obviously, the Ibos that went for the 1million match for Biafra are the jobless ones. I advise all the agitators of Biafra to divert their energy, reasoning, intellectuality and political strength to the betterment of the region and the country at large. Honestly we’ve gone too far for us to break up at this stage. Nigeria is a marriage of over 50years, a marriage that has produced many children. We are the giant of Africa, let’s learn to forget about our past and focus on the present and future. The unity of Nigeria is not negotiable. Nigeria shall be great again. Long live federal republic of Nigeria. I see how serious and positive you are on the unity of this nation. I admire that inasmuch as unity and varsity is the strength of a great nation. But there are issues that led to a particular region to opt for seccetion. You cited various governmental posts which the igbos have occupied since from 1960 till date but you failed to comment on how they are being neglected on the area of head of government or presidency. Igbos are not second class citizens. It shouldn't be the patrimony or primogeniture of any tribe to produce the head of government rather it should be rotational among all the tribes in the federation even palpating the less populated tribes because no tribe is a minor or second class citizens. Talking of one Nigeria, I personally don't think the north and S/E should be under one fold known as Nigeria. It is obvious, apparent and perceptible that these two countries are different and it would be an error if they are found under one territory. You that engrossed these piece know too well that a northerner and a south/easterner are discernibly and translucently contradistinctive. So my brother, wast no time to prank around the bush. Personally, I had wanted the unity of this national but I came to find out that Nigeria is a scam and that she was founed under lies, greed and covetousness. Currently, Buhari's leadership is bias and crammed with hate and one sided. The appointments you noted he awarded to igbos is raging because it is a slashed, substandard, inferior, deficient and depleted political posts for a tribe of the Igbo caliber which contribution to the growth of the economy of this nation can not be undermined. |

A region with differs tribe and languages wouldn't single out a mouth buffed Edo man to speak for them. You don't even have 80% language and cultural similarities with the so called south south. In Rivers state, we have the Egbemas, Opobos, Ndonis, Ikwerres, Etches, and so many more to mention who speak igbo dialect but claim to be a distinct tribe. Delta state also have vast igbo speaking area. Even the Ikas that you mentioned speaks igbo dialect not to mention of the Aniomas. Currently their governor who bears full igbo names can't deny his igbo blood. So, shot your mouth and speak of only your family whom obviously are not needed in the struggle for Biafra. lorRhyMeZ: So for airing my opinion,am now a foolish person Well on a later day,I will give u a befitting insult. On d issue at hand,as d governor of a state,he has all right to declare whatever he deems fit for his state,so far he has d backing of his council n state assembly...if it had been that he permanently sealed the place,ur types wud b justified to yan all dis dust ur yaning...but he temporarily sealed the churches pending the decision of the supreme court..meaning once the supreme court reaches a verdict,d churches wud b re opened...simple And honestly,if u can't quote me without insulting me,pls don't bother replying . I hear you oga verdict. So you are trying to tell me now that it is justifiable to temporary close down the house of God were people go for daily and weekly services for their creator pending when the court gives their verdict. Ok, have you heard of when a mosque was temporary closed down pending when the court gives their verdict. Please call a spade a spade, his action is no were justifiable. As for my harsh comment on you, I apologize. Honestly, I'm moved by your humble response. |

( u can spend the whole of tommorow running tru ma post to confirm that). But unfortunatly it seems more of my post speak more of the eastern, yes! this is bcus d rate a which i speak is proportionatly proportionate to d rate at which i read about der vices.
Only if u wnt to shield ursef wit breast plate of lies nd descit ll u say d rate at which appauling stories of igbos both within nd outside hit fp on nl is nt alarming. No tribe is completly clean with regards to dis but "igbo own too much abeg"

lorRhyMeZ: Oga see as ur blood hoot! Na wa o..odiegwu for u o. Internal matter how? Something wey dun enter court no internal again o...not to even mention d part of d post that clearly signified that the issue was before d supreme court...so if a chief security officer of a state decides to preserve security and peace of his state by closing d churches n all of its agencies, there shudnt b any biggie na...moreover,saminaka is a town clearly dominated by christians,so other churches are available for people to worship in,pending d decision of the supreme court...tonyebarcanista,I respect u too much o..don't let petty issues like this bring ur rep down oga.. ;d Look at this foolish man. O because other churches are there in Kano now gives him the criteria to reduce the number of chritian worshiping centers. Please comment wisely and stop your political chauvinism. |

Caseless: illiterate, read the story before commenting. Look at this islamic bigot, an apopletic and papaveraceous creature. Fool, your generations and the ones yet unborn are and will be the most brain diffused creatures ever to embrace the planet earth. |
